SplitVideo does exactly what you need done to your clips! It does it seamlessly! No advertisements in your way or anything they’ll only pop up when you’re done. I wish I could rate this a 10 star!

Promising but didn’t work as intended

I’m sure SplitVideo works well for some ... for me, it did not. Compressing a 200+ second video gave me only two usable 15 second clips then the rest of them were just ... blank. It did not work as intended. I ended up splitting the clips from the command line using ffmpeg which defeated the purpose of purchasing this for $6. I’m sure it’s just a bug but still made me sad nonetheless.

Doesn’t Save All Frames

I like SplitVideo but why am confused by it. I actually had to reinstall a different splicer app. I don’t know if there is a time limit for SplitVideo or if there’s a limit on the number of segments but I noticed when I splice a video for Instagram stories it doesn’t save the last segment. I’m a teacher so the Stories I’m splicing are 10-12 segments but it never saves those last few segments.

Doesn’t work for me on the 12 pro max.

I have the 12 pro max iPhone and when I try to split any video, it does not want to even download the video from the iCloud. It’s always stuck at 0%. They’re “helpful suggestions” are not helpful in this situation. So I can’t say that I’ve successfully split a video at all. I also bought the pro version of SplitVideo, to see if that would help any, and now I see it was a wasted effort. Doubt I’ll get a refund.

Love this app

When trying to post videos to my IG stories it would always cut off the end. Then I was told about SplitVideo which splits it up so can post sections at a time so full video shows up. Thanks for helping me do the posts I want and not get cut off!

Love the new Export Previews

SplitVideo has been my goto for IG stories. Love the new preview during export with the video preview and numbering. Makes it much easier to determine each video split. Keep up the great work with SplitVideo.

I can’t believe I PAID for this app!

I had to restart my phone just to get it to do ONE video because SplitVideo kept crashing over and over (its not a space issue nor a corrupt metadata issue as after I restarted my phone, it split that video fine.) every time I want to do a new video, I have to restart my phone…ridiculously glitchy!!

It’s almost awesome,

App is cool, just wish it was compatible with AirPods. Soon as you try to edit AirPods automatically disconnect. So if your trying to cut your stories in a public place better have plug in headphones and or use the phones speaker: I use AirPods all the time, so it’s a bummer for me. But I like SplitVideo !

Ps. This is for AirPod lovers.

Don’t bother

Whatever you do, do not waste your money and buy the deal. You can’t split videos that are over 2 minutes long so I decided to spend 5.99 to split longer sized videos. Absolutely will not work and SplitVideo just shuts down. Waste of money

What is the point of paying $6 for a video splitter to split my video into postable clips when it literally just clips the first 15 seconds of my video and that’s it. Could’ve literally just done this on Instagram. Split my 180 second video into 1 15 second video…

I don’t get full minute breakdowns

Each time I’ve tried SplitVideo and upload my minute slices to stories- the 4th window is always cut short! It’s created a lot of complications and I end up going back and manually cutting my videos... really disapointed

Do the job but not the same resolution

Well, SplitVideo does work and split your video into smaller sections. However, it does compress the original video’s resolution, so it’s not good 100%
