Very disappointed

I wanted to love WalkingApp but it is very unstable and unreliable. It’s nice bc you can listen to your music in WalkingApp , a nice feature. But when you are done with your walk good luck stopping it. I have to shut my phone down to make the music stop. Today, I’m enjoying my 40 min walk and after 23 mins it said I was done. I clearly was not. And there is no way to get back in and resume the walk once it does that. I like the info it gives, steps, miles, cals burned etc. but it is not worth fighting with it and my phone just to get that info. I have uninstalled it after 3 days. I sure hope I do t get charged for anything as I’m obviously within the 7 day trial. But I’m already preparing for that battle. This appears to be an app someone whipped out without fully testing it just to make money not to provide a good working app and acquire loyal followers.

Great app for walkers!!

I’m one of those people that like to walk when it comes to loosing weight since I don’t have a treadmill at home and really don’t wanna spend $$$ on a gym membership WalkingApp is perfect for tracking how many steps, miles and calories I’m burning by just walking in my neighborhood! I like how it keeps you updated for a everyday walk and honestly I’ll be rushing home from work just so I can start my daily workout walk with WalkingApp!

Nice app

I hate working out but I love to walk and WalkingApp helps me in that. It's useful to know how the number of burnt calories change depending on your pace, distance and walking time. I'd just like to have more guidance during walks, e.g. how to breath or how to put feet in the ground to avoid injury etc.

Great but - 2 stars for no edit function

I really love WalkingApp. I use it nearly every time I walk. I yank 2 stars of a perfect rating because I frequently forget to stop the clock after free walking. I wish there were a more sophisticated editing function that would allow users to adjust workouts after the fact (not to add, but definitely remove).

Very useful, just what I needed

I haven’t tried all the functionalities of WalkingApp, but for what I need, it’s great! I really like seeing how many steps I took, how many miles I walked, and how each day compares with others. It encourages me to set goals and try to walk every day.

I like it!

This is a gem of an app. I didn’t know it would be so useful. It just tracks your steps really without you asking it to. I love the gps feature that can be turned on when I need it.

Great for athletes of all levels

I love WalkingApp for tracking my walking activities. I use it with my Apple Watch and syncing with WalkingApp isn’t always fast. This can be inconvenient. But overall, I don't have other problems with it.

Well Rounded App

I love WalkingApp because it covers nearly every aspect of a healthy lifestyle. A spiritual or meditation tab would be great. As well, options in the meal plan would be nice. For example, I don’t eat dairy or fruits with pits so it would be nice to exclude recipes containing these.

And it didn’t Record it. Furthermore the miccrophone
Works for only two or three words And I have to push the microphone icon over and over.. I Cant believe I paid for this piece of junk. It would be great if someone from this organization would correct these things and contact me ..

Future features?

I enjoy anything that motivates me to move and WalkingApp does that well. I have no problem paying for something that works. My wish is for deeper walking analytics.

Love it, but glitchy

I use WalkingApp all the time. I love it for the most part, but it signs me out from time to time so I have to restore subscription every time and put my data in again and again. It's frustrating because I really like it.

Your app helped me lose 3 pounds in two weeks! 4 stars because it doesn't allow doing more than 1 walk a day and I walk my dog twice a day so I could really use that option

Use WalkingApp daily to keep track of my steps. Would like though to have the ability to set the goal based on miles not steps.

Stops Working While Walking

I can’t get WalkingApp to stay on while I’m walking. When I check my phone to see progress it looks like it’s trying to reload. Then it goes back to the main screen where you start the walk timer and it hasn’t saved anything. Super frustrating.

Needs more food options

WalkingApp is a great tool, it just needs to expand the food/meal plan part of it. There needs to be more options to plug in food allergies and to edit the daily meal plans. I have several food allergies that I’m unable to plug in to WalkingApp . Some different choices for meals each day would be a great feature.
