Somebody gave me a bottle of spices to make Shashishka. She subscribes to and gets boxes of products from Israel. All the writing was in Arabic but I think there are different versions of Arabic.

Here’s what I didn’t like:

1. The scanner wouldn’t work on a round jar. I tried to scan the writing on the lid and sides but didn’t take it. I fiddled with it a while before I got frustrated and gave up.
2. No instructions on steps to follow.
3. Not intuitive.
4. It assumes you know the language you need translated. I don’t know about you, but I can’t differentiate between Indian, Persian or Lebanese writing.
5. It assumes you recognize the flag for the language/country you need a translation for and doesn’t provide written options (that I could find).
6. Three day trial and $3.49 per week thereafter. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

I know that many apps nowadays offer you (some) services and wave a subscription in your face to do others. But this app is not like that. You cannot do anything with it unless you subscribe to be charged WEEKLY not to mention one of the sloppiest UI’s I’ve ever seen on the App Store. One of the biggest disappointments I’ve ever felt after opening an app. Don’t pretend like it’s free only to wave a weekly subscription around once it’s downloaded.

Everytime i open the app i can’t get pass the first page. And then i reopen the app to see if that works but a screen pops up with a thank you that you can press. I got pass the first page then but it took me to this page asking me to subscribe. I tried to delete the app and then install it again but it doesn’t work properly. The app might work for some people but it’s bot working for me. This is not to slander but, it is really not letting me use the app.
