Food is fabulous! Lost ALL my family cookbooks (I fell asleep at the wheel) after driving over 20 hours,I was in a hurry to get to the new place) now my favorite recipes are scattered across Turkey, Texas and beyond! My family has always used McMorick spices & I looked at GOOGLE and found this wonderfull cookbook‼️‼️ I absolutely cried when I found my favorite foods Grandmother made for me‼️
Sorry for the long story, we but you have saved me hundreds of time & money on therapy! We have a huge shortage of beef (a pound of hamburger is just under $10 & chicken tenders (1 lb. is $13 + ). COVID 19 wiped out the plants & employees of both! So sad to see empty feeds. Tyson’s is now some government secret plant, needless to say but ALL the vegan & veggie recipes get modified a little, so we get more protein!

I have always been a patron of McCormick Products. Always fresh, secure containers for the public’s protection, and now, McCormick has teamed up with Mrs. Tabitha Brown by creating a new “special” product called “Sunshine Seasoning”. Thank you so much McCormick for emailing me the notification regarding the 2nd Batch of this new Seasoning. I look forward to trying it for the first time—and definitely will buy more each time a batch is made until it finally is stocked on all Major Food Distributors. I downloaded FlavorMaker because I found several recipes that I wanted to try on McCormick’s website and liked the idea of saving them all in one place. The search functionality is terrible. If I type in the exact title (as listed on the website) of what I am looking for, for example “slow cooker cheesy cornbread,” that exact match doesn’t pop up first; I have to scroll through tons of recipes that have nothing to do with cornbread (including desserts) to get alphabetically to “slow.” Even searching for recipes by keyword, for example “minestrone,” doesn’t bring up minestrone hits at the top; you have to scroll through many recipes that are confusing why they come up with minestrone before you find what you are looking for. I will still try some of the recipes I found, but don’t expect to use FlavorMaker as much as I had hoped.

I finally returned to your app! I am very pleased with the vast amount of recipes from your company, and the seasonings, which I have used most of my like ( it’s a big deal as I’m 55 years old now). I can’t wait to buy the ingredients to make the recipes.
I unfortunately will have to remove the McCormicks’ Ground Mustard from most recipes as I have had an allergy since childhood.
Is there a way to save the videos by some of your chefs?

I just love FlavorMaker and McCormick ther line of seasonings is incredible and it often added to. Usually their recipes r Easy and have great flavor I wish though, they would do better with retailers. They quit making Simply Asia line but that was soem fo the best sauces ever! It kills me to have these great ppl doing such great work but we can’t get the products! PLS !!

I would like to give FlavorMaker a 5 star rating but it has a few very frustrating problems.
It takes forever to load. If you’re in the store in the spice aisle, you’re too late. FlavorMaker takes so long to load, you just give up. The same problem happens at my home. If I want to add a spice to my pantry, it takes forever.
I do love the recipe feature. You have click on a spice in your pantry and about 5 recipes come up. It’s great.

This will be a great app if they work out a few things. I’d like to see my spice inventory and be able to add all spices not just McCormick. Many of my McCormick spices didn’t scan or aren’t recognized. Cayanne. Coriander , caraway. Even vanilla extract. What’s the point if I can’t pull it up at the store and see what I need. It just shows me what I have. Meh. I’ll wait a bit but most likely will delete. Also can’t share between devices. Got it in tablet and phone but you’d have to enter your inventory in both. No way to create an account.

Keep the tool bar on every page so new recipes can be added more easily please.

Maybe FlavorMaker is great, maybe the recipes are great. I don’t know because I stopped looking through it when I realized that what they meant when they said you can “set your flavor preferences and dietary restrictions” is that you can sort recipes by vegetarian and gluten-free. While that’s great, it’s hardly all encompassing, and it doesn’t allow me to find recipes based on my dietary restriction, which happen to be one of the other 8 major allergens.

It’s fine if an app doesn’t do that, just don’t lie about it and waste my time.

I looked at Slow Cooker recipes, but they are mixed in with pan fry recipes. Next, I found an Asian Egg Beef recipe with crepes. The list of ingredients was lengthy, then it went into the preparation. I finally figured out that the ingredients were for the sauce, the crepes and the filling. But there isn’t any division to show where the sauce ingredients stop and the crepe ingredients begin, and the crepe ingredients stop and the filling ingredients begin.
This was very poorly written. This is not a good app for a busy family.

Got sucked into FlavorMaker when I saw an ad in a magazine with a recipe I wanted to try. However, there is no print function for my iPhone. I even tried sending the recipe in an email, but all it did was download FlavorMaker to a different phone.
Poor development! If you’re not a person who cooks from online recipes, look some other place for recipes or be prepared to write by hand anything you want to try from FlavorMaker.

Love FlavorMaker but bc I have an iPhone 6 the phone can’t be updated with the currrent operating system BUT it will not let me move past the “update” screen. I know. I know . So you’re thinking “get a new phone” but I cannot afford that luxury. Please let me know if there is a workaround . Thank you.

I built my digital pantry. Great idea! But...
I have 2 of some things. I can’t add quantity. And there is no way to search my pantry by name to see if I have an item. I was hoping for that feature. Also, some items end up in the “other” category and you can’t edit the category. Maybe the next release will be better.

This is an awesome recipe app. There are so many different ways to find recipes and the videos are super helpful.

First time using FlavorMaker . Well done!!!
In viewing the chicken cacciatore recipe I noticed there are 49mg of cholesterol per serving. Wow that’s a lot. Would be nice to know what is the main culprit and some possible alternatives.

I’ve used for many years. The blends truly bring out delicious flavors and I get compliments galore

I was expecting more that just recipes. I was looking forward to all it boasted but it’s not all that. And for the last two weeks every time I try to open FlavorMaker , it says no internet connection and I have internet. I can find recipes anywhere.

I think your concept is great helping people to season their food more effectively. However I’m not in favor of the upsell combining several spices calling it something else that is relatively obscure in most small grocery stores. I suggest you list the spices and forget the combos.

I didn’t expect much from FlavorMaker but it has some great new recipes I can’t wait to try!!

Recipe search is unreliable, can’t find what you’re looking & if it’s not in their collection they don’t tell you they just bring up a bunch of their recipes most not even close to what you’re looking for! Who has that kind of time to waste?

Love FlavorMaker. Full of fresh ideas and great recipes. Keep up the good work McCormick.

I just downloaded FlavorMaker looking forward to getting our Red Cap seasonings recorded. It scans and indicates the correct McCormick product but does record it on my iPad.

I trashed the first download of FlavorMaker and downloaded again. Still doesn’t work.

I have more than a few McCormick label products.
Why not let us enter the products we have as a list?

iPad Mini 2 app gets the name on the label wrong.
iPhone 5SE will not focus.
