I thought SOUNDBOKS might have more control over all. Like to treble, bass and even a equalizer. But the speaker alone is outstanding.
App works great, especially with the speaker. Really great design, has always worked flawlessly. Same with the speaker, but thats not the review per say.
One hitch though, SOUNDBOKS should not under any circumstance require an internet connection to use. If i get logged out with no service i can’t use SOUNDBOKS or like today when it updated i needed to create an account. Which would not have worked without service, ie no use of app. Big flaw in implementation for a speaker that goes everywhere fyi.
The bass+ plus option is sick 🤮love the update guys-keep em’ coming!
Wanting to push more low end as I understand the SB2 has more base. Can SOUNDBOKS help with this?.
This new update is what I’ve been waiting for!!! The bass on this speaker is sooooo amazing!! And the clarity of the sound wow! I’m so happy with SOUNDBOKS and how it works with my new this app!
I love the speaker and SOUNDBOKS , works great, sometime I have problems connecting the speaker to SOUNDBOKS but when it does work it works great with the microphones I bought for it!
Is it possible for you guys to make it so that we can pair our this app to our smart TVs .... because that would be freaking awesome....thank you in advance...I’m keeping my fingers crossed for this one
The New this app is an amazing speaker, made even better with by the recently updated app. The Bass+ mode will give you all the bass you need indoors and out. It vibrates my whole house. When paired in stereo with another this app, I’m sure my neighbors can feel it. Can’t wait to see what other features they add to SOUNDBOKS .
I couldn’t wait to get this speaker and push it up to 11!! It did not disappoint! It has proven to have more value than expected and it just keeps on giving. The team were very quick with the questions I had for them. Great company👍🏽
Love my SB3. Wish SOUNDBOKS would have a indicator of battery life. For the ones having issues connecting to SOUNDBOKS I found if you close out SOUNDBOKS open it again works every time. If it gets disconnected while app is open that is when I have issue reconnecting most the time sometimes it connects.
I love the speaker that’s 5 stars all the way. My favorite feature would be removable rechargeable batteries. On most brands speakers the batteries are built in and after a couple years of use they basically have to remain plugged in to be used. With the removable rechargeable batteries it eliminates that issue. The only issue I’m having is with SOUNDBOKS it won’t find my speaker to SOUNDBOKS . I can connect Bluetooth in settings of devices, just not to SOUNDBOKS .
I have two of the New this app speakers, themselves huge improvements in accurate frequency response over previous models. Since the original release of the speakers, the improvements wrought through firmware and app updates have proven the developers are serious about the potential of the more powerful electronics in the speaker.
My favorite improvement in 1.3.2 was a tweaking of the bass reproduction to minimize boominess evident in the original firmware. Together with the Indoor sound mode, this renders the New this app useable in small rooms without overwhelming bass response.
The biggest surprise was acceptable (20-40 ms) combined latency when played as a stereo pair over Bluetooth. This makes it possible to use a wireless audio pair for movie playback without excessive audio latency.
Finally, being able to use a Bluetooth audio source while remotely controlling the volume of a New this app with a second device allowed me to adjust volumes from the back of a large auditorium during a school movie night, as if I were at a remote soundboard. This is truly the wireless future, today!
Curious on the quality of this product? Look no further! I’m a DJ / Producer and these speakers blow the competition away! I would recommend investing in two this app 3’s if you want to run multiple speakers wirelessly. SOUNDBOKS only works with SB3.
Plus, the SB3 has the best bass compared to the SB2 plus the new app update gives the SB3 even more Bass than before, and yes the difference is unbelievable!
I owned a single SB2 first and loved it! At the time, it was the best in the market before the SB3 came out. Personally, one SB will do the job but two of them is the route you want for sound balance and Bass enhancement, and clarity. The indoor / outdoor toggle is my favorite feature in SB2. I would recommend the SB2 for people who don’t care about bluetooth daisy chaining and app control. You will have to manually walk up to the speaker to change your volume every time not bad but SOUNDBOKS control makes the SB3 feel modern.
I prefer the SB3 because of SOUNDBOKS compatibility, and the ability to change the volume from distance. Stay on the couch, bed, or keep talking to your friends in the social circle and enhance the volume with ease.
These speakers are definitely an investment, but the most rewarding part are the reactions and feedback you get from friends and strangers who you get to party with when you bring these bad boys to the party! People will tell ya they’re jealous but so glad you brought them and that they’re amazing!
Trust me, these speakers will make the party better and people will get crazy happy. It’s like a mini festival when these are turned @ 11 (Max Volume) also they’re portable. And yes, some of my parties have gotten out of control due to the sound quality and they’re some the best experiences in my life HaHa

Last thing! The warranty is great! I just had battery die on me (flash red) it sucked. Avoid this issue by charging batteries as soon as it hits 20%. I found a exchange form filled it out and got a replacement battery in the mail in about a week maybe two. Great customer service on this situation because all I did is summit the form and talk to nobody about it. Amazing.
I did run my speaker with the dead battery with a direct power connection so you can still use both speakers with out a battery if you didn’t know and that feature made me realize that these are a well thought out product and not just a cool idea.
