Interval International To Go Reviews

The Getaway Alerts either have a defect or are so poorly designed as to be useless, I've tried contacting support, spent over 30 minutes being transform person to person before being disconnected. And even though everyone I was connected to asked for my 'email and phone, no one called me back, The issues with Getaway Alerts are many. Here's what I'm seeing.

The first problem is that when it notifies me of availability, the notification *never* goes away, it is always on, so if someone else gets that week, I have no idea of knowing if another week has become available without constantly checking (since the notification stays on I can't tell if it when a new week appears). The second problem, might be related. When I search for Marriott's Grande Ocean from Dec 1 - Dec 10th on IntervalInternationalToGo , I'll see other units that aren't for MGO. And on some of those days, there are other Marriott's available. So currently, there are other Marriotts on Dec 1, 2, 8, 9 and 10th. So when the Alert tells me there's a hit, and I click on it, it shows me those dates, but when I click on each date from within the alert, each is blank, so it's sort of useless and frustrating to have to click on each day with no actual results. Finally, there appears to be no way to delete an alert request, which coupled with the bad notifications is incredibly annoying.

So many developers have used responsive design to develop apps that work equally well… and look equally good… on both iPhones and iPads. Not IntervalInternationalToGo. Which is a shame, because you’d think Interval would want to present users with the best possible views of their resort options.

Big disappointment.

(And based on another review and the developer’s response, it’s been at least two years with no effort to fix the issue. Hope ownership by Marriott will prompt some action.)

We were promised that when we bought into Sheraton Flex that there would be such ease in trading in to use interval. I’ve tried so many dates and sites and can’t find a single thing. There is not way in IntervalInternationalToGo to just see what “is” available and when. You have to have a magic ball and pick exactly the right day and place before it will even show you a resort option. What a joke that you can use interval with ease if you buy into Sheraton.

Still years later no APP for IPAD. Honestly every single APP I use supports my IPAD. The amount of yearly dues I pay Marriott and the fees Interval charges every time I try to do an exchange, even exchanging my deposited 1 bedroom ski in/out week at the Marriott Mountain Valley Lodge in Breckinridge, CO - Interval wants to charge me a fee for a 2 bedroom at someplace not nearly in demand as a Marriott ski week in Breckinridge. Not long ago that week traded for 2 & even 3 bedrooms units at other Marriott locations without up-charge fees.

Old version would run as a app on iPads. Current version only runs as a iPhone simulation on the iPad. Lost all the great features to view in widescreen on the iPad. Keep hoping they will bring back the iPad version, but I guess that is never going to happen. I guess want you to use the website if really want to see anything. Even if they didn’t want to upgrade the old iPad version, wish they had kept it. It was so easy to browse around to find places I might like to go, view pictures/videos and so on. I would never use my iPhone for this, as the screen is just to small to get a good view. Disappointed and wish I could give zero stars. Consider this a zero star rating.

Confusing app. There are multiple places in IntervalInternationalToGo where I just don’t understand what it is supposed to do. When I search for a property I can select “All Destinations” where I can select locations from a list. Then I can select the View Selected Destinations” but all it shows is a list of what I selected. In other areas instead of saying there is no availability, it throws an error message.

Twice today we’ve lost a getaway we were trying you purchase. Both at the checkout screen where is was trying to do the additional verification for the credit card.

The first time it showed me several phone numbers that we don’t own, to send the verification to. This is scary and feels like a race condition the devs of IntervalInternationalToGo need to figure out.

The next time, it gave me correct numbers as options to send the sms to. However I never got the sms and I couldn’t navigate off the existing screen. Wheel just spinning watching the 20 minutes count down to 0.

Now the getaway is gone, wasted the better part of an hour, and am extremely frustrated.

Hopefully IntervalInternationalToGo team is reading these reviews to help minimize these issues in the future

Ever since I updated my phone I keep getting the same error message when I try to do an exchange. I’m able to go through the exchange process including the payment options. But when I swipe to book I get an error message. No matter which unit I select or even using different credit cards. It’s starts with “Json content is not compliant with schema”. It’s a really long error message. This is frustrating. I’ve had interval for 20 years and never had issues with exchange. I think it’s time to go back to calling customer service to exchange.

I really wish IntervalInternationalToGo would allow a search of from to dates like the website does. I am unable to see what is available in the month of January or in the next three months. It is not helpful in my search if I can only look at one specific date at a time. This takes the search down to turtle speed - Especially when resorts are adding availability daily. I’d have to look at every check in date for those three months 1 - 3 times a day. IntervalInternationalToGo is too limited and for this reason I prefer the website. Hoping for this upgrade in IntervalInternationalToGo .

You guys need to fix IntervalInternationalToGo soon. It’s extraordinarily slow and so not convenient to use at all. Gets hung up for minutes just spinning every time you click something. It’s frustrating and doesn’t even seem worth your time to use it, though website is equally as bad. Fix it ASAP!!

IntervalInternationalToGo and the several previous iterations has just never worked properly. Constantly freezing forcing restarts. Latest version spins for minutes after every swipe. So frustrating, such a waste of time. Can’t you guys just find a good app designer who can make it work properly like nearly every other app out there?!

Can’t search for exchanges on iPhone since they made some updates to the program. Always get an error message when trying to search on IntervalInternationalToGo . Can only search for exchanges via web browser on a computer. Please get IntervalInternationalToGo issue fixed!

While IntervalInternationalToGo is generally convenient for searching on the go, I’m unable to Deposit a Week using IntervalInternationalToGo . When the link is tapped, IntervalInternationalToGo closes. Also, when setting up a Getaway Alert, and choosing the number of bedrooms, IntervalInternationalToGo keeps defaulting to All bedrooms or is defaults to everything that I DON’T want. Some faulty quirks!

Searching for resorts has VERY few options! I suspect there are tons of resort weeks that would be great for me, but you have to look at specific days. Also, it’s hard to tell if there is a resort at all where I want to go—it makes planning difficult.

I’ve been living in Europe for over four years almost 5 and I wish there was more variety and options to use when I exchange for weeks or my points. Never any help or options and is hard to seek good guidance while living in Europe! So it always seems like we’re taking the bottom of the totem pole when we get resorts!!

Not sure what is going on with IntervalInternationalToGo but it randomly simply won’t let you login in. Additionally, search keeps glitching preventing you from searching specific locations

Getaway alerts are extremely useful, it would be really helpful to be able to pre-filter the alert by Resort Tier. This would make an alert for a location (rather than individual resorts) much more effective

Because of this timeshare I’ve been able to explore many places and breath taking experiences on every single one of them. Thank you interval

Interval has made some great improvements to IntervalInternationalToGo. I was able to browse, search, reserve and pay for my vacations with ease.

I had to apply a credit from an insured trip due to Covid. It was already there on the check out page. The insurance is well worth it. And recommended.

A much better experience than before! However, need thumb print log in versus just password.
