NannyPod is a scam that will attempt to take money from you account every month but NannyPod doesn’t work and they state in the beginning that they do not offer refunds. DO NOT USE. May have been a real thing at one time but it definitely is operating as a scam right now in 2024z

NannyPod wanted me to enter my credit card info and pay without showing me any substantive candidates. Literally gave me a first and last name and that was it. I am not paying or scheduling anything without having information about the nanny or some way of communicating with them to see if they are a good fit for my family. NannyPod is trash- don’t waste your time as I just did!

I used this app services a few years ago before the this app forum was replaced by NannyPod version. I have requested services and NannyPod states that it is locating a caregiver and it disables being able to make another booking. No notification is given to confirm a booking or one being declined. I also had to pay a credit within the this app app. I have asked for a refund, with no response. I have asked for guidance as to how to use NannyPod and shared why it isn’t user friendly, with no response. I believe NannyPod is fraudulent and a way to get users to upload money that will never be returned. My next step will be reporting this to the better business bureau.

When I signed up as a nanny it asked me for all my information, including my bank account to setup payments for any gigs I received. After all that it told me my account was awaiting approval and if I want to log out. I logged out to see if that would quicken the process, but it won’t let me log in and keeps saying “something went wrong” and that my password and email don’t match up. It all seems like a scam to me.

I would recommend NannyPod to any parent seeking childcare. Super fast and easy to use!

NannyPod makes it easy to create a childcare provider profile. I love that I can add certificates and training that I’ve completed.

My husband, 10 month old baby boy and I are in Charleston for a month. We knew we would be looking for day dates and nights to see the town. Learned about this app and it’s been a great experience so far. We’ve have 2 date nights and 2 more scheduled. The sitters were prompt, responsive and both very sweet. The owner Kevin has been a great help, especially via text, for last minute scheduling requests. He’s been professional and responsive. Having no babysitter network in the area of our own I have come to rely on this app.

We use NannyPod regularly as it’s easy to use and we have been able to filter to get the sitters we need. The checks and qualification filters were a nice touch too, really impressed with the sitters we met. Highly recommend!

There are so many babysitting apps and thousands of sitters. I’ve heard horror stories about some of the bigger platforms. It’s hard to know who you can trust. So I like knowing how carefully this app vets its sitters. That way I can actually enjoy date nights!

I needed a baby sitter for Labor Day weekend; the sign up process was quick and painless and I also found someone I liked within a few hours. Definitely recommend.

I don’t normally leave reviews but this app is an app that actually makes your life easier. We needed a sitter on a few occasions during a last minute trip and this app made it so simple and the sitter, Nicole, was so sweet and professional. Would recommend this to anyone!

NannyPod is easy to use and helps you find a babysitter/nanny short or long term. It’s convenient and the cost is nothing compared to the difficulty of finding help for a date night or help while you work during the day.
