Buggy!

Forces me to login each time and crashes

Login every time open aap

I have to log in every time I open AAPExperience . Front screen is too busy.
Not easy to navigate.

Dysfunctional

Don’t take notes in AAPExperience . They’ll be wiped away when AAPExperience closes.

AAPExperience gets hung up. It’s slow.

Access to livestream sessions

I am having tremendous difficulty accessing the livestream events. Definitely something to repair for future conventions

“Improving User Experience: The Need for Streamlined Login Options”

AAPExperience constantly requires signing in and out, making it cumbersome to use. It would greatly benefit from features like a “Save Password and Email” button or Face ID integration for more seamless user experience.

Slow

There are so many things in AAPExperience, but it’s glitchy - just trying to get to my schedule is a multi-step, likely-to-freeze process that is highly frustrating. Bring back the little paper book that doesn’t glitch.

What an insult

An app in isolation, really limits functionality. First, the link to course evaluation is basically to a separate web site. So AAPExperience cannot tell you if you have evaluated a course

Second, there is no link to CME credit, which is still a paper and pencil and calculator process. Actually recording the credit is yet a third process. I didn’t try MOC, but suspect it was just as bad.

No warning if you are selecting overlapping courses, and no logic to resolve conflicts by suggestions for repeating courses. The exact repeats have to be chosen again.

The only good thing is that if you are savvy enough you can access the same information across devices.

Needs a lot of work

A glitchy nightmare that is constantly logging out, getting stuck on a blank screen, and freezing.

AAPExperience is OK when it is functioning. However, room changes are often not reflected in it, a lot of slides have not been uploaded, and favoriting oral and poster abstracts should link up into the my schedule section because it is very challenging to know what to be where if you want to go to abstracts and plenary sessions.

Very slow

AAPExperience is extremely slow to respond, also freezes frequently, and if snow and “thinking”, generally it gets stuck that way and never resolves requiring reset.

Stream

AAPExperience to live stream events is horrible. Difficult to find impossible to get into live stream events

Review

Can’t get the full schedule anymore

The constant logging off is frustrating.

Incredibly frustrating that it logged me out every few minutes through the whole NCE.
If I changed screens for just a moment I had to log back in. Or if I took a photo of a slide, or I got a text message. Sometimes it would say no internet even if there was clearly 5 bars of WiFi internet.
The slides were not able to upload sometimes for the entire duration of the lecture. And then if I went back into it I’d have to reload all slides again. Sometimes they just didn’t ever open up at all.
When it’s working it’s pretty good but I think I had to login 100+ times this week and it’s frustrating. Can it not save our info? Use facial recognition to log in like most other apps? Or stay logged in until you log out or once per 24 hours? That would be appreciated.

Superb !!!

These was excellent — everything from one screen; switching between “all” and “my favorites” a cinch; eval and handouts and slides—- all right at the tip of a finger

I have been critical of the NCE apps in the past, I am not sure how one could improve this

Bugs

Crashing, not saving notes. Slow to load.

Too slow

It’s too slow. It freezes up frequently.

AAP conference app review

App is very slow and glitchy and requires constant reopening

Needs a handout update

You get 5 stars from me if presenters post their latest slide handouts. Too many presenters have not posted. I’m looking at you telehealth and social media presentations.

Helpful app

Changes I would recommend is to be able to see slides while writing note on the side.

Loved being able to mark my favorites and then see it on my itinerary.

Would like to check off the lectures that I attended on CME form in app and then be able to submit it to licensing or print it.

AAP app rocks

Great app. Very user friendly.

Best Tool For Conferences

Best tool I’ve used for notes at a conference. It allows you to write notes next to the presenters slides. This is great.
