App is very buggy and doesn’t work well. My walking pad won’t connect to the remote anymore (despite trying to re-pair it to the walking pad) so I have to use KSFit in order to use the walking pad. Just recently KSFit and walking pad will not connect to each other so now I don’t have a working walking pad at all!
When syncing KSFit with my walking pad, if overcounts steps by a factor of roughly 2X. Example: I recently walked 1.13 miles. KSFit “counted” 5,954 steps. A more accurate count would be close to half of that. There is no setting in KSFit to correct stride length or do anything about the incorrect step count. Very frustrating considering my main use case of KSFit is to count steps and sync them to Apple health.
Not only is it glitchy and doesn’t properly sync distance from the treadmill but the login process is atrocious. It doesn’t integrate with Apple’s autofill at all. Not only that but why do I need an account to connect with my local Bluetooth enabled treadmill? Unfortunately KSFit is the only way you can even change the speed of the treadmill in any other increment other than 0.5mph at a time. If I could I would rate KSFit 0/5.
KSFit constantly disconnects from the walking pad. The information from the walking pad does not show up in KSFit . App only works if you actively have it open while using walking pad. None of my information in KSFit is accurate to the activity completely with the walking pad. I really don’t even see the point of KSFit
I have been using KSFit mainly to sync steps into Apple Health but also to track distance I’ve walked. Recently an update logged me out and now it says I don’t have an account. Please fix.
KSFit is really bad. Consistently does not sync with the treadmill no matter how many updates are made. There is no way to provide feedback. The walking pad is brilliant, the software is awful and really lets the brand down.
Literally the only thing I want from KSFit is for it to output my step count to Apple Fitness. But it doesn’t. It only outputs to Health, and even then the steps are not the same count as reported by the walking pad and KSFit.
Please fix or add support to connect Walking Pad S1 directly to Apple Fitness.
Sometimes I want to pause my workout for a minute and continue. My shoe comes untied. The maintenance comes by. I need to go to the bathroom. But no, the SECOND I step off the pad it stops the whole thing and sends an update to everyone on my apple fitness list. Today I just needed to adjust the pad further under my desk and sent everyone that I walked 0.06 miles. I now have to hide my workout data so I’m not bombarding everyone with notifications. Let me pause my walk. Limit it to 5 minutes if you want but having a pause button at all is absurd with the current set up.
Previously KSFit kept the phone awake while connected to a Walkingpad and working out. Now it falls asleep. Resetting the screen on setting has no effect.
App is great as a standalone with the walking pad but has issues syncing with Apple Watch & Health app. I can see the log in my health app but it doesn’t seem to count towards the daily total.
KSFit is great but doesn’t send all the data to the fitness app. It is missing steps and mileage. Every other metric is in there. Makes competing with friends via the fitness app impossible.
KSFit lets you change speeds at .1 mph instead of .5 with the remote which is much appreciated, but if you are for example at 1 and press twice down to .8, KSFit will often bounce back up to 1 briefly which is confusing. After a couple seconds it will correct but if you go down again while you are at 1 that might not register until it gets corrected but sometimes it seems like it does so you have to go slow and wait for it to update or it can be confusing. I understand a delay for the pad to recognize KSFit speed but the bounce backs makes no sense. Also text appears on the plus saying hold for increase but on the minus it also says hold for increase… it should say decrease. And as others have mentioned, tracking steps and transferring to Apple seems to not work well. I would love if there was a way to either change the amount of mph the remote changes at a time or add another button that changes by just 1 mph so I didn’t have to use KSFit. All the ideas are there, it just needs to work.
I have been using KSFit with my mc11 treadmill which I love. In the beginning it was syncing with my lose it app which I was able to add the workout easily. Now I have to go and manually enter my treadmill workout in the lose it app. It does show my workout in health app but not with lose it app. Otherwise the KS fit app is good.
Does what it is supposed to do and syncs well with my walking pad. The only issue I have is that it doesn’t write step data to Apple health kit which is annoying. It does write other stats like distance, duration, etc for workouts though.
It’s a very nice app that helps you track your fitness and keep you entertained and I also liked the fact that you can open the device you are using with your phon
KSFit is amazing! With it, I can record my workouts, analyze data, and make plans, making my fitness journey clearer and more efficient. After each workout, I can see detailed data analysis, helping me understand my progress and areas for improvement. The plans are also very practical, providing clear goals and direction at every step. Highly recommended for anyone looking to boost their workout efficiency!
It has been updated, many functions are better.
I recommend using this was while on your walking pad. It tracks duration, miles, steps and calories burned. It’s easy to compare weekly, Monthly, yearly results. I thought I was going to have to purchase some sort of step counter and was happy to find out that KSFit was available and it works great.
Connects to my walking pad C2 and does the things
It updates all my stats in Apple Health, works as designed.
