I wanted to watch my sons hockey game online. I saw the time available but it would not let me select unless I bought a subscription. Once I did I was able to select the time, that told me it was a private session and I could not watch. I contacted Danny at customer support who basically just told me the rink sets that privacy and there would be no refund. I told him his site did not show me I was unable to watch the game, but he did not care. I paid $18 for nothing. this app is a great idea, but is run by the wrong people. I would not waste your time and money on the product.

Stay away from LiveBarn I downloaded it gave my credit card for payment went to site to see my sons game was on said there was no payment went back to the site to see what was said it was inactive even thought they got payment and the best thing there’s no red button to cancel had to call my credit card it’s call a rip of folks

So we used this for my sons hockey in Tacoma because my wife had to stay home. The delay was horrible, the quality was horrible and everything else about it!!! Do not wast your money on this!! Extremely disappointed!!!

Also I was billed for recurring service one day before it was to expire and I cancelled but was still billed and told there was nothing they could do. Well I appreciate that because of Covid rules I was able to watch games that normally I couldn’t attend, it was almost impossible to watch these games live. In which case the extra money I paid for the premium service was wasted and not returned. I most often had to watch the recorded version after they already happened.

Just enabled my account again after being cancelled for about a year. Same terrible quality for twice the price now. Canceled again after about 20 minutes of frustrating lags and frozen video. Even the downloaded video is bad.

LiveBarn barley works - and when it does, it is jumpy with terrible quality. My internet connection is screamin fast and every other app is just fine. Not this app. A slew of inaccurate error messages that claim I’m not logged in … to forever spinning loading screens. Blows my mind people pay for this terrible software. What a waste of a great idea.

LiveBarn at best is to see the scoreboard live. The only action you’ll see is at center ice. The rest of the action at the goals are too far away to enjoy. To make things worse for your viewing pleasure is Some cameras are a positioned behind netting. Their policy is not to give refunds after you pay and discover that games are not “watchable”

LiveBarn constantly freezes and lags. Worse, I am no longer able to view games on my IPad. It wants me to update their program, however, the program says it requires IOS 14.0 or better. Which my IPad can’t download. Instead of letting me bypass this update, it shuts down the software rendering it useless. Beyond frustrating.

Over a week and still no reply to my email/support ticket!
They obviously don’t care to address the update compatibility issues, since there’s already another update and no resolve to the previous…what’s the point in a subscription if you can’t use it!?

I try to watch my grandson play ice hockey on line using these guys; what a waste of time and money.
Extremely frustrating!
This venue is very POOR; you cannot find a match without difficult hunting and wasted time… work, work…
They do not provide any club info, Club Name, game location, game time, rink etc. There is a score board visible when viewing live, but nothing if you are able to locate the video.
Worst experience ever, and way over priced!

I’ve been paying for months and finally needed to use LiveBarn to watch my son’s game only to find out “ It looks like there was a possible media server or internet connectivity issue at this location. This can cause the ghosting, distortion and lagging you're seeing. It can also cause otherwise broken files. Unfortunately, there's no way to repair or restore the lost footage due to the nature of the live uploading.”

Great idea, but could never watch my kid’s practice on time. Always getting disconnected and buffering. Close LiveBarn , reopen, watch for a couple minutes and buffering, close LiveBarn and repeat. I’ve reached out to via email. No response.
I’ll have to wait for practice to be over and watch the recording. Even with that, I’m still having buffering issues. Live barn? More like come back and watch the recording barn

Complete and utter racket. Bought a subscription to watch my husband’s baseball team play in Florida since I couldn’t make the trip. First game worked fine but the following games I did not have access to. The streaming got switched to another company the following day (BeTheBeast) and if you wanted to see the games for those days it was $60. I have reached out regarding a refund and no one has contacted me. Terrible product, service and experience. Do not waste your money. Would give zero stars if I could.

The concept is great, but you sure don’t get what you pay for with a subscription. Cameras at rinks are constantly down, quality of video is awful if working, and the overall experience is about 10 years behind where it should be. Save your money, time, and frustration. Have someone in your team stream the game, even an iPad streaming is 100% better than this app. Would give it no stars if possible but will have everyone in my family cancel their subscription!

Had constant issues last year with the service at multiple arenas. Non-empathetic customer support.
Tried again just now to realize my favorite area has been down for 11+ days with no ETA on a fix. No visibility to that fact until AFTER resubscribing. Refusing to issue refund. Have fun when I challenge the charge with my bank for lack of delivering a service purchased in good faith.

Update doesn’t allow using the older version. The message says the old version can be loaded but no directions on how to do it. Worked fine last week but nothing today.

Due to new upload which my iPad won’t accecpt it won’t go away. I’m trying to get to a rink but upload keeps appearing. I cancel it but it won’t go away what do I do

I am able to download all my highlights from the rink right from LiveBarn to my phone. It’s awesome. I’m coaching hockey at the development level and I love that I can send clips right from my phone to parents right after practice.

LiveBarn has been so helpful for me to follow my nephews games while I’m on the road. He plays multiple sports and I’m able to watch them all when I travel for work. I have marked the places where he plays as favorites and can grab the game live stream on on demand.

Poor quality. App always unexpectedly closes. Joke. I resubscribed to grab a video and I’ve updated payment. Resubscribed but still doesn’t work. An actual phone # would be awesome to reach someone in customer service

Poor streaming quality, poor camera angles, USELESS customer service representatives, and a completely non working app. This service has been a total waste of time, money, and energy. It seems great in theory that I can watch my little brothers hockey games from hundreds of miles away, however I spend more time trying to get LiveBarn or website to work than I do watching the actual game. I have had to contact customer service almost every single time I’ve watched a game and have received the most asinine support. I will be canceling my membership immediately. I will happily support any competitor to Live Barn as soon as it’s made available.

Terrible app!!!!

I use it to watch my grandson play hockey. Transmission is spotty.
Reception goes on and off regularly. If you send them a help message all you get is boilerplate responses. Certainly not wort the money or your time

I have NEVER seen such a poorly executed subscription service, EVER. The completely ridiculous, cheap cameras provide unwatchable video, when you are able to get anything at all. I tried to use it on a SINGLE DEVICE, but because I had logged on via the web, LiveBarn wouldn't work, and I had to go from browser to browser signing out before I could get on. If you are an investor, you have kissed your money away, because this service is so bad, it will never be redeemable.

I was very disappointed to see American Sports Center in Anaheim switch from BallerTV for this joke. Sorry guys, you got taken. Get back to BallerTV immediately.

If this wasn’t such a horrible disservice to users, it would be funny. Whoever came up with this concept clearly had no idea what they were doing.

Stay away from LiveBarn, it’s truly terrible.

It would be nice if the score board could be inactive on every game and who is playing on that time/rink. Ref are not shown when penalty are given, couldn’t follow who had scored where if the score board was up would help with following activity. I watch a game which only seem to only track left to right far-side ice. I do know score board was working on 1 of 4 games. I know rink was mentioned so wondering if team name could be added. Distance of view could make out the jersey team name only numbers. Schedule posted was not available so just had to get on and check all rinks.

I’ve been a member for more than 2 years. The prior camera iteration had an actual panning camera, but sometimes the player tracking didn’t always follow the action, especially if there are late skating players into the o-zone. I guess this new fish eye lens camera is supposed to fix that. Technically it never misses the action, but there is some loss in image quality. I’m happy with the service because um there really is no alternative at my beer league rink.

Love the idea, works great most of the time. Disappointed when 2 times at different rinks the system is down? Paying for something and don’t use it a lot but when I need it the system is down for repairs.

Now you need a way to easily jump back when watching live. Something that allows that would make this an outstanding little app for hockey parents.

Both of my grandsons have been playing hockey since they were little. And for the past few years, thanks to this app we have been able to watch them
play and have enjoyed LiveBarns format. You just sign up and you can watch the live action or games on demand. The picture quality is great and they have more sports than just hockey. So put it on any of your TVs, iPads, or cell phones, you wont be disappointed.
