This company stole my credit card number and made purchases using my card!
Don’t trust them with your card!
Prototype unhappy., paid the daily rate and they still charged me for my ride .. sent an email asking why to their customer service.. no reply just an invoice for the daily rate and another for the rride.
I have used other scooter share apps in the past and not had a problem.
Whooshbike has terrible problems with credit cards. It works on the outbound ride, then it won’t accept payment and you’ll end up stuck at your destination with no way to get back. Confirmed with the credit card company that it’s not them. It’s Whooshbike .
I am staying in Rio for a month and wanted an easy and convenient way to get around the city. Whooshbike has refused to accept every payment I have attempted to use, citing a different reason each time I try to pay. Looks like I will be taking money elsewhere to rideshare apps
Extremely expensive to use - they give you an offer when you open Whooshbike but it’s impossible to redeem - paid almost 90€ for 3 people for only 6 km
Whooshbike allowed me to sign up and charged me for a scooter that was in a no ride / no park zone and I couldn’t turn it off. I now have to dispute it with my credit card company.
Started to ride then had to walk back 15 mins to park it in the tiny area Whooshbike covers in Budapest. I got a partial refund, not a complete one…
Before renting scooter pls. indicate serviced area in Whooshbike explicitly, given how small it is.
Whoosh has so many competitors globally, but there are no alternatives in Brazil? There should be more entrants to this market, because their app is at least 10 years behind other scooters like Bird, Lime, and Spin.
1. Payments take at least 24 hours to process. This issue has been in reviews for over a year and still no solution. If they can’t figure out how to adjudicate payments, then maybe pass the duty to a 3rd party that can like Square?
2. Scooters will turn off or slow down when outside of a slow zone. It seems there is a GPS tracking issue where the scooter can’t figure out where it is located?
3. Sometimes I have to try several times to end a ride, close and re-open app. If I have an issue with the scooter I am currently using and want to switch scooters, then no luck because the payment will not process, forcing me to wait 24 hours for another rental. This has left me stranded several times where I need to use Uber. Very expensive!
Don't waste your time and money. You have to leave your scooter in the parking lot. I had to go half a kilometer back from the final point.
Terrible, can’t park where other Uber bikes and scooters can.
Payment doesnt work. Requires a 72 hour cooldown between using the service. Terrible
Whoosh would not end my ride and continued to charge me. Just use bird or lime
I tried to register bunch of times and all I got is “opps. Something went wrong”
Did not like having to drop off the scooters at designated drop off spots. sometimes it's nowhere near where I wanna go which makes using it useless
I should be able to look at map before registering to know I there are any around me. Cause I don't want to give you my phone number and go thru registering without even knowing if you have bikes around my area.
