Since installation to my Haibike Trekking 5.0 in November 2020 the econnect on board battery has only lasted up to 5 weeks before being to flat to operate the unit and needing a recharge. As I use my bike very little during the winter this leaves it vulnerable to not being found if stolen and no unauthorised movement messages being sent because the on board battery will have died.. Can you please confirm to me the conditions under which the econnect battery will last 6 months as advertised.
