Zirtue: Lend & Borrow Money Reviews

I just downloaded Zirtue to cover the situation of having to lend money to a friend in the future. I reached out to customer service email to ask a couple additional questions that I was curious about and got a response within a few minutes. That is excellent! I also like that they go through Plaid for bank information keep my account secure. I’ll update this review when it’s time for me to lend some money

It took me and a friend much too long to successfully do a loan on here they didn’t respond to multiple requests for help.

First, they try to verify bank accounts with Plaid, which is currently not working for my major US bank. Plaid had to help me figure out a workaround, this app didn’t respond to my questions.

Then when I tried to accept her loan request, I kept getting the same generic error that didn’t make sense.

All in all, I emailed them 3 times, got 0 answers, and it took 5 days to get the bank accounts linked (1 day) and get the loan made (4 days). Meanwhile the car my friend was trying to buy got sold to someone else.

They emailed today asking me to review Zirtue but there was no link in the “Review Zirtue ” text and no other link to review it. That’s really Zirtue in a nutshell. That made me annoyed enough to open Zirtue Store and leave a review.

Potential but expect it might be messy. Not ready for prime time—and if they answered emails I would be a lot less irritated by that.

I love how Zirtue makes what is normally a handshake agreement between friends/family into a structured, contract-backed loan. It auto drafts from the borrower’s checking acct each month so I no longer have to worry about the awkward part of reminding them to pay me. I have no problem lending money to my family, I just want something to take care of the reminders and payments. This is it. Amazing app, incredibly helpful!

Used this app to loan my cousin some money and was 1000x better than Venmo. Terms were agreed to up front and repayment was automated and ach money back into my account so i didn’t have to think about Venmo requesting him and chasing the money down the road. If your loaning money to someone versus one way payments this is the platform you should be doing it on!

Nothing else like it. User friendly and easy to understand. Much easier than going to a lawyer to draft up documents and it provides a sense of relief knowing the money you lent out will be repaid to you via a binding agreement. Let alone how easy it is that all the payments are auto generated so I don’t have to follow up with anyone to track down my loan!

This is the perfect way to not have to worry about owing loan agencies money back. You don’t have the high inflation rates you would get from those companies because the people who you owe the money to are your own family and friends. Impeccable idea and an amazing application.

I made several attempts to reach out to customer service when I changed banks. this app never restarted my payments or replied to my emails in over two months of attempts. No attempt to reach me. Then they deactivated my account. It's been horrible for my friendship, since they agreed to the loan in part because a third-party would handle payment without either of us needing to think about it. Now they feel lied to. Obviously, this loan to them is my responsibility and I'll make good on it. But you know you did wrong, this app.

Zirtue takes the hassle out of borrowing and lending my friends and family money. I can loan someone money or receive it in minutes. No crazy paperwork like most loans plus you get to come to a timeframe agreement through Zirtue so it takes the awkward conversation away. Very useful and trustworthy app.

I’m in love with Zirtue. Dennis is a genius. I have a hard time asking for my money back from family members since downloading Zirtue I have been able to secure my money back from aunts and uncles who never steadily paid me before. This is a must download!! ESPECIALLY if your like me “the family atm”.

Had my sister lend me an amount of money and this made it so easy. It actually made me stay accountable to make sure I paid her back in a timely manner. Definitely recommend to anyone who is wanting a structured loan from a friend.

Account Supension and at the same time removed money from my mother’s account. I recommend Zirtue to her, borrow the money, and I probably will never see it. I don’t know why I just didn’t drive to my mothers’ and collected the funds myself. Now shes out $500+ and they suspended my account. These people are thieves, DONT DO IT!!

**UPDATE**

They have not returned the money they said they would, my mother is taking action via her Bank’s ACH dispute resolution. Again if you want to loose your money DO NOT USE Zirtue.

I started using Zirtue to lend and borrow money with family members. Easy to setup and seamless experience. Would recommend to anyone who borrows money from friends and family if you just have one transaction or many.

After having friends consistently “forget” to pay me back, Zirtue solved that problem once and for all. First loan that I’ve ever had paid in full and on time. Runs like clockwork.

I got laid off by COVID-19 and this app came through in my time of need. I was able to borrow money from my brother and friends to pay my rent and this app made this process easy. Love Zirtue for saving me!

Can’t set repayment to earlier than 3 months. Doesn’t allow entering repayment amount for one time. It set .34 cents as interest on its own.

Doesn’t show you all of the borrowing steps without a trial subscription.

Should hide a lender’s info to “others”.

It’s great app for borrowing and lending… Made it easy to set it up and they do all the work with setting up the payment plans… definitely recommending my friends

this app was perfect for helping me service a loan with my friend. Very simple easy and it auto serviced everything so I didn’t have to worry about it!

Everybody uses apps such as Venmo Chime and CashApp to make money transfers. this app does more than just money transfers and does it better! Look out for them to take over the money market in the very near future!

I must say.. I never write reviews BUT with the experience I’ve had, I couldn’t resist. The customer service is impeccable. I have never been treated so professionally. Everyone needs to download Zirtue!!! It’s GREAT!!

Just tried out this app with a buddy. He was able to make me a quick loan and the funds arrived right in my bank account. Very cool. Zirtue then allows me to repay my loan with no hassles on my part. Awesome app.

Truly let’s you find out who your friends are. Would and will recommend Zirtue to any and all of my friends.
