Slingshot doesn’t look or function as advertised. It’s been almost a year of having the paid Ride Command service and it has NOT worked properly since subscribing. I had a trouble ticket open and was informed it was potentially an app issue. I’ve waited for updates and still am having issues. It hardly ever shows the this app’s location. Rides aren’t always tracked and when they are they don’t sync properly. It does not show a photo of your selected model the way it’s advertised to do. If it worked properly and actually looked the way you guys advertised then I would give a better rating.
Slingshot has been terrible and continues to be terrible. App developer responses always say we’re going to update this or that, but nothing changes. This is fraud to even charge a fee to use Slingshot. I canceled after my “free” worthless period ran out. NOT RECOMMENDED!
Difficult to plan new route and download it to the navigation system. Navigation is in reliable and really unusable while traveling
I downloaded Slingshot and I can’t log in and can’t even sign up! App is a complete failure and I can’t believe a company this successful can’t get their stuff together! Slingshot keeps telling me something went wrong!!! No duh!
Slingshot doesn't work for anything the idea is great and would appreciate the Ride Command 1000 times more if I could actually use threw Slingshot . Waste of time. Extreme headache.
2018 SL with ride command but Slingshot won’t connect even though my Bluetooth is connected and will make phone calls.

I paid for the annual service to see my location and I’ve seen it a couple times live and it hasn’t updated in 3 weeks currently and the map disappeared.
Slingshot has a hard time connecting to ride command and rarely does. On the Slingshot it says it is waiting on Bluetooth connection and the is connected to the ride command system. Great idea but Slingshot has issues.
I downloaded Slingshot and I have tried to use it..With much disappointment as far as finding dealerships in the United States... Only other countries are listed no way to delete
Slingshot features are ok and Slingshot would be very nice for planning. However initially Slingshot would not connect to the this app Ride Command via any method. After updating the this app software Slingshot connected.
When will the this app Ride Command app be updated to include Apple CarPlay?
Using Ride command to plan routes is …tedious… but not to bad.
Once you figure out to set up all the places you plan on going then planning a new route is easier! Finding points as you go is easy enough but having most of your major places defined is easier!
The flyover is pretty neat but would be nice to allow a north up prospective.
Planning on the web ride command and editing and then downloading to your RC app / your this app is odd but seems to work well!
Takes a while to get the hang of it but it actually works well!
I have planned a number of rides and it gave me a good route to follow!
The this app navigation is very resistant if you vary from the planned route and keeps wanting to loop back instead of recalculating as you go!
