SpaceLaunchNow is ok for the launches you want to know about but absolutely annoying for all the ones you don’t.
I went to settings and selected only Florida. I just got a notification for a Russian launch, recently had multiple notifications about an engine test in Mississippi, I get all the notifications for Texas and California!
I just want the ones in Florida- no where else. Unfortunately that is NOT how SpaceLaunchNow works.

I use many apps for which I’ve purchased in-app add-ons. SpaceLaunchNow is the ONLY one that causes a repeated pop up asking for my App Store password. Sometimes it does this over and over, keeping me from even using SpaceLaunchNow .

Whether this is a security issue with SpaceLaunchNow stealing App Store credentials is not clear. The pop up being displayed may be coming from iPadOS, but could easily be spoofed by SpaceLaunchNow . All I can say is NO OTHER APP causes this, and I’m already authenticated on this device with SpaceLaunchNow Store, and can view account details, etc. Either this is a problem with SpaceLaunchNow, or a bug in its interaction with iPadOS, but regardless, I’ve deleted SpaceLaunchNow from my device until this matter is reviewed.

Great app except last few months no longer get notification sounds. Used to work. I do get textual notifications in the Notification Center. App notification settings seem correct and allow all notifications including sound. Tried reinstalling multiple times. Multiple reboots. No joy. Need sound so I don’t miss the launches.

This is a great app that I’ve had no problems with, except for the fact that there isn’t much in the way of wallops. It tells me about the orbital launches, which I’m very thankful for, but it doesn’t have anything for the suborbital sounding rockets. Wallops is my home launch site, so I try to see a launch whenever I can, but sometimes it’s hard to find them, or I miss it because I don’t know when to look for a launch. It would be helpful if SpaceLaunchNow could cover those, too, but besides that, this is an amazing, reliable app for rocket launches that almost never fails to please me.

Update: 04May2021 - Removing a star because there still isn’t an update and it keeps crashing on Starship tab on iPhone and iPad. It’s a nice app. But it has been buggy lately. The issue now is a crash to Home Screen using the Starship tab. It used to show a live camera feed, but now it crashes every time. A few weeks ago the main screen would not load, but it was fixed with an update. I have been using SpaceLaunchNow for quite a while and have only seen these serious bugs the past month. I hope it is a trend that stops. Otherwise, 5 star app. Update: I agree with the 1 year old review that says SpaceLaunchNow needs a way to send feedback. If it’s there, I didn’t see it.

Kept me informed as was watching launch on Wednesday when weather delay cancelled. Thought I would not jinx it and turned to ABC, then CBS, then NASA for launch updates. When Ginger Zee, at 1505 et said, clouds were moving out it was hallelujah and then the launch itself at 1522 was spectacular for someone who grew up on the Gemini, Apollo, and Space Shuttle fights, it was a triumph for Elon Musk and his team, and was a very bright spot for the USA.

That said, hope you guys and gals, can put an App together for future flights, besides going to NASA app for updates. Will be interesting to see space dragon finally catch up to ISS at 1027 et.

SpaceLaunchNow is perfect for anyone who likes space flight. The info is phenomenal, as well as the UI. Additionally they took their time to add the “Starship” tab and include livestreams from creators (LABPADRE) who have 24/7 cameras in Boca Chica. 20/10 download and you won’t be let down.

Being a space geek I’ve tried to watch almost every launch through out the years. Living across the VAB and the pads makes it convenient. This ap is great, plenty of information on launches all over the world as well as accurate.

SpaceLaunchNow has lots of information above and beyond countdowns to launches. It is also customizable. I love the detailed information about launches, the payloads and vehicle specifications. There are also links to the most recent articles regarding all aspects of rocket development and space utilization.

I have been using SpaceLaunchNow for some time and find it easier and more up to date then what I can find on NASA site! I have some issues with filtering, launches show up for locations I have turned off, but otherwise this is probably the best app out there for launches.

This is a good app with a lot of detail, the only issue is that I am not getting notifications about upcoming launches or event changes like I do with other apps. If this were to change I would definitely give it five stars.

This is a great app that someone needed to make: I am glad it finally happened. I have used it for a few years now.

More details, more past archives, more launch and mission details - all would be nice. For those of us into space, there’s no such thing as too much!

I love SpaceLaunchNow but it stopped working on both my devices. I paid for SpaceLaunchNow to help support it but just has the wheels turning and turning - not able to get into app. Tried deleting and reinstalling with no luck. Can’t get in touch with programmers. Been going on for several days now.

Keep pace with today’s rapid development in the private space sector. You’ll receive alerts 24 hours and then one hour before launches, plus links to live-streaming launch video coverage! Now I check SpaceX live cams every morning. Adds a ton of excitement, learning and fun to your daily life!

Could use a “feedback” option in settings or somewhere... One such piece of feedback:
When launches are “No-Go”, information about the cause of the delay/cancellation should be displayed prominently - if not on the home page, then at least under the “Explore” tab for the mission. Minor annoyance, but something that can be improved. Thanks for the hard work!

My main interests are Spacex F9 and Starship. I highly recommend viewing a Starlink train if you are lucky to have one appear over your location. Open findstarlink com web site to check your location. They are highly visible within the first few days after a new Starlink launch. Very cool to see.

Loved SpaceLaunchNow when I got it and paid for the extras, but in the past 3 weeks it has repeatedly failed to launch and load. I’ve tried deleting and adding it back, turning the phone off and then in, playing with my phone’s settings- nada. Very disappointing. Can’t find anything online about this issue.

I was going to watch an ULA launch today but clicking on the tv viewing icon has no effect. The launch was scrubbed with 2 min. to go. How do I view the launches on SpaceLaunchNow? That was a selling point for me. Thanks though, for the cost, pretty cool.

UPDATE: Can anyone tell me how/if I can watch past or upcoming launches? The “Watch” word does not do it, the TV icon does not. If not, OK but then why show the capability? Thanks...

Great app that notifies you of all the launches going on in the world (if selected). Lots of info on the flight and crew.

Only bad:
Will have to watch live elsewhere. Terrible support for SpaceLaunchNow , I found no way to contact them. Endless circle to the Developet site that has nothing. I wanted to request or notify the developer that my iPhone does now allow me to watch live when I click on the watch icon. Button doesn’t do anything. I have no way to tell them or request support in resolving the issue.

LOVE SpaceLaunchNow , but it asks for my iCloud password constantly while using it - this is my only app that does that. I tried contacting author, but there is no means to request support from SpaceLaunchNow or the web page.

Please adjust font and text box sizes when using smaller screen phones.

Otherwise time until launch seconds are cut off.

No matter how I try to filter out agencies & locations I'm not interested in, they still are listed. Instead of the next launch in Florida, I'm getting the next launch in Russia. Nice app, other than this filter problem.

Love SpaceLaunchNow , contains many different styles of launches that normally would go unseen. Appreciate all the information that would take me hours to find, even with estimated dates.

This is such an exciting day and age that we live in and so much is happening in and with space travel that it's good to have an app like this to warn you about the next launch .

The new design looks great and efficient. I would never expect so much quality from a lesser known free app. I love the notification systems and everything. Nothing but a great experience from me

SpaceLaunchNow is fabulous! Only thing that could make it better is if it utilized your gps position, and rocket trajectory, to tell you which direction to look in the sky for optimal viewing!

A lot of really, really hard work on the part of the developer.
Now my ‘go to’ source for space info.
