Dear madam/sir I have been subscribed to Academia for a couple of years now and the information on my citations and mentioning have been regularly coming in. Every year I payed what I was suposed to pay. This year however, two monthly bills which I know nothing about came in: 1. $123,75 due 30 January 2023 2. $123.75 due 12 February 2023 Apparently these amounts were billed by Academia through PBZ Card, Zagreb Croatia. PBZ Card then regularly charged me. I am positively sure that I never used my credit card to authorized these payments. Could you be so kind to provide an explanation of what happened. I have written you several times before, to no avail. Other people are pirating my work and putting it on Academia. You say that I can simply tell you that I'm not the author. However, I AM the author. These books are all under copyright and any unauthorized use is an infringement. Most of these uploads are from countries outside the US. I would suggest that you put another response on your page so I can tell you that this is a pirated work. I have never uploaded anything to Academia.edu. My books are mostly not even academic, but fiction. I live off my royalties. By allowing other people to put my work on your site, you are in breach of US law. Please pay attention to this. Academia.edu is very useful for those who want their papers read. As a researcher, I use it often. The lack of oversight as to the source of your submissions is extremely upsetting. Thank you.

Dear Academia and your Leadership!           Dear Academia, at the fact that some of my documents which were viewed on your website poses details which can put the US Intelligence and its allies, as much as the good name of USA at odds, I need to have my documents erased from your database in order to stop your viewers access at sensible details. Being as sensible as top ammunition into the hands of Russia and their allies now at the time of War in Ukraine, since I never give you my documents or the permission to publish them (nor I asked for their publication anywhere), you have to realize that for me as well the USA, I intended such documents only for internal use... I wrote and address those doc. just to the USA Government and Human Rights organizations in USA, and since I want to live in USA, I cannot allow anyharmful notes into the hands of our enemies...        My case in USA resulted near few of my relatives that were actively involved within the governing of the Communist Regime of Romania at the top, I understood that very late on, but I am as American as the bestand I would not diminish the name of US and its good people. In recent years I invented a new windows system at which I asked to receive USAPatents, my life in USA would be safer for me if Academia would stop topublish the documents handed to you without my permission, so pleaseerase asap my documents from your database and stop to publish them.      I need to separate from conflicting effects towards tranquil prosperity, not to raise or support the claims of USA enemies which are my enemies as well... Participating with full mind and body, from 05-AM into the very Romanian Anticommunist Revolution on December-22-1989, to free theRomanian People and Romania from USSR Empire and its harsh abusive effects, I would not give Russia a clean bill of health at the time it tries to rebuild a new empire like what they had made under Russia into USSR!       Please take notice of my will to fully erase my documents from your database at once and for good! With all due respect I missed to support your Academy given to the same reasons, but at the news that Belarus published excerpts from my documents, it proves to me that my intent and your Academia good intentions were overlapped by appropriations that became clever manipulations at the hands of Russia and its roguesupporters, which would try anything against our economic sanctions! For a brief true record, I was arrested in Minsk-Belarus in Aug-1991 justby trying to exchange few dollars for rubles, at one Minsk local market!If I make any good amounts of cash from my windows patents, I would donate a decent cash amount for your Academia and good leadership...                                 Valeriu Zamfir, August-01-2022.
