I had a bb8 when they came out in 2015 and it was great and I just found it again recently, basically mint, and I figured out that the original app no longer exists. So I found out that this app is compatible but every time I try to connect to it, it says connecting but does it for ages or the app will freeze and it never does connect. Quite sad that they charged $150 for these things in 2015 and now they are basically out of commission. This company blows and I will not buy any more products from it.

I was excited when but I bought this robot for my son but I’ve been having a lot of issues with connection this company has terrible customer service they never got back to me regarding my concerns I’ve tried everything they suggest on their website it will connect once then won’t connect at all spent all day trying to connect I’m very disappointed I regret buying the robot they heavily market this robot as educational but it can’t be educational if it doesn’t work i don’t recommend people buy it

I used to love Sphero but I am very disappointed at it now. I got a Sphero bolt for Christmas a year ago,I didn't use it just much and it was very well taken care of but 3 months later it wouldn't charge . I contacted sphero customer support somebody told me a couple things that I could try but that didn't work. I got it for Christmas so I don't know where it was from I didn't have the box either. I was told that I could only get a replacement if it was from the Sphero itself. My bolt broke within the one year warranty. Although I am frustrated with Sphero, Devrann Harding was a good customer support agent.
