This one only takes information out of your phone and you can only view information taken from your phone-Not from your computer or elsewhere. Does not work on Files app so you HAVE TO download NewFlesh app. This is unsettling with privacy issue. I was hoping to use files from a computer on a phone but doesn’t work that way.

It was working originally, but it recently it started to not show my data files even after they’ve been successfully copied 😒🙄. This has cost me to loose files because I’ve deleted them from my phone thinking I had them saved, but they’re gone.

I put movies on the thumb drive and it copied the files for only two of the ten folders. The remaining folders were empty but it copied 154GB of data. I tried to delete the information and start over. On the home screen it says the folders and data is gone but when you check what’s left on the drive in properties it still says there is 154GB used, if it’s used where is my data?
The drive picks and chooses what will record your better off buying scandisc it works every time you get what you pay for,this was suppose to be a deal on GB, not worth the money.

Had over 100g of memories - photos, video, etc...gone. Drive shows storage only has about 100g of free space but cannot access or see any of my files. No help anywhere...spend the money and buy elsewhere.

I been using NewFlash for about a year or little more. It’s was good still could improvement but I got see my picture. Only thing bug me is I that I can see my pictures from NewFlash that is connected to flash drive which is connected on pro my iPad to be ability to put it on my iPad again. Does that make sense so I want from NewFlash that’s connected to the thumb drive that have my picture to somehow get the picture to my iPad but not using a thumb drive anymore I hope that makes sense.

Ten years of effort compiling documents from around the web. I wrongly thought a USB drive was as reliable as all the other USB drives I’ve owned. I bought and tried out the 1TB drive that recommended using this app with it (it’s in the paperwork). I’ve had it one week and it deleted without prompting over 30GB and tens years of effort.

This product is absolute TRASH and I’m going to spread the word. I’m currently trying every method of data recovery I can and the only possible way I’ll change my review is if I can recover my hard work.

App freezes while “loading” or crashes completely. When plugged into a computer, says “disk is unreadable or corrupted”. I haven’t even been able to use it yet, just put files on and now I can’t access them.

I was happy with the product of 256GB storage at the beginning, since it was convenient to transfer images to flash drive. However when I tried this month, there are still more than 200GB on my flash drive, it failed transferring any photos either from my iPhone or iPad. I don’t know why it works not stably. So I have got to buy new one ....

This product is garbage, as is NewFlash featured here. Remember, you get what you pay for. It may say 128GB, but the drive locks up after about 25GB are stored on it. Had a number of songs, albums, and movies; about 50GB of files altogether, and they would not load and play on my iPhone 6S. It works fine if you limit how you store on it. But capacity is about 20% of what's advertised. I'll be moving on to a more expensive drive after this.

Seriously...the directions make zero sense and don’t tell how to use the drive. I selected all and of 2000 photos it would only transfer about 180....the rest failed and refused to transfer. No explanation and no remedy. Why can’t they write the user manual in human terms?

While the device and app work very well backing up my iPhone 6S Plus using the Lightning connector, the same cannot be said for my new 11" iPad Pro. When using the USB-C connector NewFlash doesn't recognize the external memory at all.

Copied a bunch of movies over - played one or two of them as tests, then they stopped playing, and now none of them play. Also, strangely enough, I copied some TV shows over, and they are not visible. Same file format as the movies.

Works as a reader but it doesn't rotate pic when you rotate the phone, the pic stays at a portrait lock. That is very good and bad for wanting to see pic when phone on its side q

Thrilled to get and transfer images to flash drive from iPad Pro but when i insert into my Mac laptop, it tells me it only works with IOS systems - Mac IS an IOS System! Don’t buy if you need to transfer anything to a Mac!

It works and the files are readable. I can transfer files from my phone to a computer with this but I only give four stars because I see room for improvement. For instance all my files are well organized and in many different folders but sometimes I forget where I put something. It would be nice if there was a search bar. Other than that it works great

I really love the flash drive that I got from this company. Usually, the drives that I had gotten before had like a faded look to it when I transferred the image or video but this company is crystal clear exactly how I recorded it!!! The only thing I didn’t
Like was that I have to download a app and I don’t like that. I am concerned about NewFlash . Other than that it’s fricken awesome. I can’t believe how clear it is. I am impressed by it.

As far as I can tell so far, NewFlash performs all of its functions well. The interface is well-designed and functional. Despite what NewFlash ’s screenshots show, the interface does support the English language.

Took me a little while to figure out, but within minutes and without reading the instructions i was able to download all my music, photos, and contacts on to this 256 g drive.
This is a great product and the price is unbelievably reasonable.

Moved all my files from one phone to another

Can’t beat the price and the ease of NewFlash . If you are not somewhat computer/phone savvy, then stick to the commercial picture thumb drive, which will cost you like 10xs more.
For the rest of you...awesome deal! Easy to use- (tho I’m not one to have to read instructions) but if you are...this may pose a bit of a challenge.
Tho it’s has file format is a familiar setup, that is easy to understand just as you go.
Idk why people are rating this any less than 5stars- as far as NewFlash &use. I paid $17 for 128gb, and freed up 70%of my likewise ip6! Yay!I’m going to organize my favorite pics from the laptop and then reupload a file back. Thank you developer👍
