Stream really bites. It is so basic that the lack of features is annoying. It only shows a small amount of text, and when you tap it goes to Safari. There is no categorization of feeds so you can focus on certain types. And no home screen widgets.
But the one thing that keeps me using it? There are NO Unread marks. Until I can find an alternative that ditches unread marks, I am sticking with this app.
I absolutely /love/ the elegance in simplicity Stream provides, and it genuinely might become the RSS reader I use for the indefinite future... BUT I would really like the option to be able to mark articles as read, even if just by greying out the text. Something to differentiate it all would be helpful in my eyesโ any plans for future updates? I'd love to see it :)
The concept is simple. The implementation is elegant. It kind of reminds you of โthe good olโ daysโ when apps were more focused on being nice and useful.
Great app, quickly pulls my subscriptions and focuses on the content with little distractions. Congrats Rob on the great app!
