Almost perfect!

Update- Thank u for the response. I used the ID, as you had suggested. I am able to use FieryFeeds on both devices now.
Love your app, and all your updates!
More navigation would be nice, there are so many options!!!

Is there a way to load all feeds from certain RSS’s? It’s an option in Feedly. Not sure about FF.
Thanks again.

Love FieryFeeds on my iPhone. I have the PREMIUM subscription...however, it is not working on my iPad. Keep getting prompts to purchase again! Family sharing is NOT WORKING for FieryFeeds.
After few emails, the developer replied, I need to subscribe, restore or reinstall. I have tried all of these, w/no success. And, this was noted in my email, I have a current paid, subscription.
*Replied via email to developer, it’s not the same Apple ID, it is part of my family sharing. Again, this is the ONLY app I have this problem with.
Happy to update my review, when resolved. Waiting for response from developer...thank u

Takes forever to load; constantly freezes

I want to love FieryFeeds. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for to replace Mr. Reader, which I’ve continued to use because I love it even though it was abandoned many years ago. But I’m trying to use it with my Feedbin account, and it’s impossible. When I open FieryFeeds , there’s always a huge delay and spinning wheel before I even see my folder list. About 80% of the time, nothing happens the first time I tap on anything - a folder, an article - FieryFeeds is just frozen. I have to wait until it’s ready to respond to me. Then wait again the next time I want to do something. I can’t even figure out how to get it to show all my articles, only folder by folder. Sometimes clicking FieryFeeds icon on my (iPad mini 4) desktop has no response. It’s so frustrating that it’s unusable. I’m very sad about this.

My favorite RSS reader

I run my own rss server using ttrss. It was difficult finding a client I liked using without ending up with a poorly supported work around (the fever plugin for example).

Then I found Fiery Feeds. FieryFeeds is gorgeous, provides tons of options, a plethora of supported platforms, awesome themes, and is a joy to use. The full text function is awesome for the truncated feeds. It’s hands down my favorite reading app on the iPhone.

It also supports read it later services like Pocket, Self-Hosted with wallabag, or its own built in service. The developer has been responsive to questions and feedback. I highly recommend you check it out if you’re looking for a great reader app. It’s definitely my favorite.

Most responsive developer I've worked with + best RSS app

I am deeply enjoying reading my feeds with Fiery. This is not just because of the excellent design, or the frequent updates, but also, crucially, because of how responsive the developer is. Several times I've sent mails and gotten a response within a day or less. If you manage a lot of feeds, you will want to look at Fiery. I've requested obscure features that have made their way into a release a week or two later, and this present release adds some features I'd not even gotten round to requesting yet.

This is how you do software. Thank you for being such a wonderful example of how it's done.

But I’m starting over from scratch

I was hoping to start over with RSS feed readers, since I have not had a feed reader since my Google Reader days. I have no feed accounts anywhere. Not with Feedly or any other of the newer RSS feed readers. Therefore, I was entirely unable to sign in. I’m glad I didn’t just jump right in and buy a premium account that I would’ve been unable to use.

Your product seems to have no use cases for a person who is entirely new to RSS feed readers. This is not the way to attract new people to your product.

I would be thrilled to try your product again if you add some way of authenticating outside of some other feed reader service. I would even be willing to sign in via Google. Please provide this basic functionality and I would be delighted to revise this review. Oh, and my husband, a Feedly subscriber, would also be delighted to try your product.

Crap design, amazing functionality.

If you need to inhale lots of news, FieryFeeds is it. It feels like interns created the design language but the functionality is definitely geared towards power users who need to consume lots of info. Easy to quiickly share, unique hot links to see what’s trending, markedly improved syncing with services... it’s great. It doesn’t download full text as quickly as Newsify but its UI is so well suited for people who need to power through mounds of news. Good job. And if the developers get more revenue from FieryFeeds, perhaps they can invest in a design overhaul. I’ll still continue to use this over all other RSS apps.

Issues sharing to MeWe

Everything else works as expected but for whatever reason sharing to MeWe just gets the text not the link to the article. No other app has this problem receiving the shares and MeWe seems to not have this problem with any other app sharing to it.

My favorite RSS reader

Everyone has his own needs, and for me, it is its highly customizable settings for Folders, Lists and Articles, Bionic Reading, and keyboard support that give me more freedom. Actually, it has already included all the features any other readers have. Though it seems so convenient to users, we all know it's not easy to develop so many features. Thank you for your effort to give us RSS readers this extreme reading experience.

Yes! Local Feed Management

I no longer need an RSS service! I just imported an OPML of all my subscribed feeds (exported from my old RSS Feed service) and I no longer need that RSS service because Fiery Feeds will do all the feed syncing (either entirely local on one device or across multiple devices via iCloud). I’d rather pay a subscription to my RSS-reader developer than to a feed service. And, the addition of a local Read-Later account is perfect and allows robust group/tag organization.

Awesome - and about to get even better!

I use, or have used, just about every RSS feed reader out there. I’ll skip all the details and just say that this is the best of the bunch. Not only that, but the developer is amazingly responsive.

About the only downside to Fiery is that it needs a “feeder reader” (by which I mean a second Feed Reader such as Feedly, TheOldReader, or Bazqux) to handle some of the heavy upfront functionality when subscribing to a feed.

That is about to change in 2.2, when Lukas adds this new functionality to Fiery, making it a totally self-sufficient system. Fiery is a five star app even without that since you can always use one of the free “feeders” for now. I’d add a few more stars to make it eight stars when 2.2 is released!

Fiery is a classy product from a classy person. Thanks a million, Lukas!

Purchase Option

Great app. Tons of features and works flawlessly with Feedbin. Customized the display to a granular level. Loving it. I would absolutely pay a fair, flat fee for FieryFeeds but that's not an option and I certainly don't want to rent FieryFeeds monthly for the same reason I don't rent my cable modem from my ISP. I realize the devs want compensation, I get it. But the subscription model blows. I had my wallet out and I put my wallet back. If there's ever an option for a flat purchase, that's reasonable, please let me know and you have a slam dunk sale.

Switching back to Reeder

I originally bought FieryFeeds because Reeder support had been lacking. It seemed to be ok and I purchased a premium upgrade. But after some of the most recent updates, I’m switching back now that Reeder 4 is out. I’d had things setup the way I liked on my iPad and one of the updates changed things. I mostly was able to find settings to change it back but it was never the same.

But for the past few days, Feedbin hasn’t updated at all. I purchased Reeder 4 and couldn’t be happier.

Best RSS Reader on iPhone

Fiery is by far the best RSS Reader on iOS. It’s definitely for power users though I’m sure regular users might enjoy it too.

Things I love the most:

- Ability to sort by feed, then oldest/newest. Few readers offer that.
- Ability to read a feed in “web” view entirely. Useful for “links only” feeds, like Hacker News for example.
- When in web mode, it preloads the next article so that swiping to next feels instant: the next article is almost always already rendered. This is invaluable and makes reading a lot of items a delightful experience.

FieryFeeds has won me over and returned pleasure to my reading experience. I now prefer reading on my iPad. I used to read exclusively on my Mac before.

Awesome app.

All the features, all the updates

For a 5-star rating, I only wished for a few things: “mark read on scroll,” and image thumbnails in the article list. (Dark mode and a configurable multi-pane UI were nice-to-haves.) No reader could deliver all these … except, now, for Fiery Feeds. As a bonus, the developer is *constantly* issuing updates, which is always reassuring. Thus, this is the single perfect feed reader.

Loved the interface but has issues that need to be fixed

I subscribe to a number of RSS feeds and have a good workflow setup with Reeder. Thought I'd give FieryFeeds a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the interface and the level of customization available, however I found that FieryFeeds struggled to handle the feeds via my Feedly account and there was a significant lag between syncing the feeds and actually being able to open and read the feed. Will keep FieryFeeds , but unsubscribe for now till an update arrives.

this is now my only rss reader

thanks for a great reader. after trying it out for just a couple of days, i quit using 3 other readers. after a few weeks, i even quit reading news on my imac, preferring to pick up phone or ipad, with Fiery, instead. i now use only Fiery and it is better than all of the other apps, combined.

Update removed link to HackerNews submission comments

I’m hoping the developer will see this and take a look into this. The latest update has removed the link to read the comments on submissions to HackerNews when viewing their RSS feed in Fiery Feeds. Was working as expected prior to the last update.

Best RSS reader on iOS

This is the best RSS reader (plus other accounts such as Instapaper) on iOS, and I say that as someone who has read RSS daily for years and has tried them all.

It even has great landscape support for plus/max phones, themes, offline syncing that works well, and advanced settings for power users. Thank you!

Great app!

I've been toggling between Fiery and Reeder 4 for a while now. Fiery wins out if you're willing to dive into the preferences. Truly a power user's app. It does take commitment though—Reeder is more usable out of the box with a flatter learning curve. Not a knock on Fiery Feeds, just an observation. Still haven't settled on my go-to for RSS, but will continue my subscription as Fiery is certainly worth the support.

Great app!

I love how customizable FieryFeeds is. However, when I try to load Bloomberg articles in web setting or full-text, the parsing errors out. I tried different modes of full-text loader and no luck. I didn’t run into the same issue with Inoreader in the web. Can u please take a look?

Don’t look anywhere else for a feed reader

FieryFeeds has it all... syncing with third party services - I use Inoreader, it has Hot links - my main usage of FieryFeeds ... used to use fever in the old days this is fever on turbo boost. Aggregates similar content across all feeds... yay. The interface is a pleasure to use and customize and deserves the programmer an Apple ux design award honestly. I can go on and on but u get the gist. Just get FieryFeeds it’s worth the subscription!

promising app

The biggest issue is that my favorite new feature, iCloud syncing (local-only but shared between devices) is iOS-only, since FieryFeeds is iOS-only. I look forward to a Mac client.

And this is petty but I am not a fan of the icon color and an option to change it would be great. Having crazy icon options is one of my favorite features of Carrot Weather and Drafts.
