The website has you going in circles with no real answers to your questions. So I put my kiddos student ID number in wrong and I can’t for the life of me find how to edit it. BUT, the first thing I thought when I got the info about this from the school was, what if I was in a custody battle and didn’t want my ex to know where our child was. When I saw that you had to put in the students number I thought, we’ll maybe that wouldn’t be that easy. Oh but it is, especially since they send you an email with the correct info no questions asked of who you are or verification. I work for a school and our buses are always late. I put in a couple of our students so I could have an idea of when the buses would be coming. I received an email with students birth dates as well as student ID’s.

EdulogParentPortal has been working quite well for us with a few exceptions...I receive multiple alerts outside of the time frame I’ve selected. It seems the time frame I set often reverts back to a longer time frame. This results in numerous alerts that are not relevant to my child’s bus route specifically.

In addition, I will receive a blast of 4 or 5 alerts at the same time with the same information. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Outside of that, EdulogParentPortal brings me peace of mind, security of knowing where my child is and helps with my time management!

EdulogParentPortal is good for finding the bus on the map. What’s been super frustrating is the bus proximity notifications that used to show on my Lock Screen stopped working one day with no change on my part. They still work for my neighbor though, so the school didn’t change anything.

I’ve checked and re-checked iOS general notification settings, iOS app notifications settings, and the notifications setting within EdulogParentPortal . All are turned on. I’ve turned them off and on, reloaded my kids. Nothing works to bring back the feature that really made EdulogParentPortal great.

I appreciate being able to follow the bus on a map as it approaches, but the continued notifications every time it re-enters the proximity radius I've set (even after it has already picked up my child) is super annoying. It would be great if it would only give notifications up until it picks up or drops off your child.

Another issue is that it only gives the scheduled pickup/drop off time, not any sort of estimate for when the bus will ACTUALLY arrive based on route and location. So unless you're sitting there watching the map, good luck.

I can easily track my child’s bus and get alerts when the bus is close, but I have one suggestion to make it even more convenient: make the alert radius adjustable to a smaller interval and/or be able to move the center of the alert radius. For instance, the bus will enter the .5km radius before it goes into three other neighborhoods, but not enter the 0.4km radius until it’s only a couple minutes away. If I could adjust the radius to 0.45km, it would notify me about 5-7 minutes early when it’s one neighborhood away.

EdulogParentPortal is great in that it shows me
my bus real time but the amount of times EdulogParentPortal has just not worked and almost lost me the bus makes me wanna write a review

go ahead and expect a 20-30 second start up time so no quick checks for the bus, and once your on there's a good chance EdulogParentPortal will say you have no scheduled transportation when you obviously do. sometimes the bus will say say it can't be tracked right now (???) or just show you the wrong time completely

keep in mind this happens maybe once every two weeks but if you want EdulogParentPortal to be reliable you need it to work 100% of the time, creating a tool in which parents and students can rely on and not making it reliable is infuriating

App works for me, well at least for one of my children.
I’m able to track the location for my middle school child, she starts to walk towards the bus stop when the bus is close by.
However for my elementary children the bus has been parked in the same location for the past 3 weeks, I was able to track it the first few weeks not sure what happened.
**for the ones that say app is denying them, try putting your child’s student I’d WITHOUT the begging 0, I was having the same issue till I removed the 0**

Like in the title it’s horrible .At first things were going good like I could track my bus but then later on EdulogParentPortal would glitch and it would make my bus either go back or stay in the same position and i didn’t even get notifications anymore about when it is coming and it would also make my later bus (which is the one that takes me home) notification turn red which Means it close but that’s for the afternoon . So in total don’t get EdulogParentPortal use a different one

I just can’t seem to get past the first screen because it’s asking for their school ID number which I do not have. I think this will be a great app once it’s really up and running because my son rides school bus and sometimes they are late or I am kind of late to pick him up and I don’t know if he got dropped off and started walking home already or they’re just late. Hope these bugs a fixed and I can use EdulogParentPortal . !!

There are some bugs in EdulogParentPortal that significantly impact its functionality. Each morning, we try to see where the bus is. Each morning EdulogParentPortal says no students scheduled for transportation. Each morning force quitting EdulogParentPortal finally is able to reload the student information and bus map. It is either losing connection to its server or there’s an error in the database query … but this lack of automation impacts functionality. Where’s the bus? Did we miss it? Nope… just forgot to force quit EdulogParentPortal .

EdulogParentPortal was great at the beginning of the school year. As if late, I am not getting notifications of bus arrival nor is the location updating. It is showing bus location from 2 days ago each day and never near pickup or drop off areas. I uninstalled then reinstalled EdulogParentPortal with no changes. Deleted then reentered my child’s info with no changes. Glitches reported?? Please fix this problem. EdulogParentPortal WAS very helpful.

I was not able to track my son. The bus seems to always be in the “truck center company”(does not update its current location). I don’t have access to scan history nor where’s my child. It was quite scary yesterday because my son was going to get off in the wrong bus stop. Also the bus came late and it would have been helpful to be able to track it. I had to end up calling the school to update me with the bus.

I was able to input all of the required information but it’s is even less useful than the original bus tracker I used through my school district’s website. I am never able to track my son’s bus because it’s always hanging out in some neighborhood it doesn’t even travel to. Once they fix all the bugs I’ll try it again but for now, I just have to guess when my kid is going to walk through the door.

At first this wasn’t tracking the bus in real time. But now that it is working - makes a huge difference. I’m able to continue my work day until the bus is actually nearby without worrying that I’ll miss it.

I think the idea is great and I have two elementary boys that ride the school bus so I loved the idea of being able to track their school bus BUT I have downloaded EdulogParentPortal and even entered the school district ID like EdulogParentPortal asks and yet they are still saying my requests are pending and it’s been this way for days! What good is it to have EdulogParentPortal if I have to wait so long before being approved before I can ameven use it?

All this does is show me the supposed times of my sons pick up and drop off times. Which is helpful but is information I already have memorized lol I was hoping to be able to track his bus and know when it was close to his stop. Instead it always shows his bus as being at school and it doesn’t adjust his pick up and drop off times even though the bus has run up to 45 mins late several times. Going to erase if it doesn’t track the bus.

To use this application you first need to submit a request to have your students added. I submitted the request days ago, but the request is still pending. It seems no one is working on EdulogParentPortal or maintaining it. I can’t even use this application for its basic purpose, because no one has even looked at my request. I can see why EdulogParentPortal have very poor reviews. There is no basic customer service at all.

Bus info is showing it switched to new bus number correctly, but when tracking I’m seeing the old bus sitting in the bus lot (broken down).. does us no good anymore! I did love EdulogParentPortal and it WAS very helpful especially because my child is in a wheelchair.

EdulogParentPortal is not at all accurate. It doesn’t help at all. All it does is list the info I already know- when it’s scheduled to pick up and when it’s scheduled to drop off. But it’s not updated and you’ll never be able to find your bus. I’m sitting here still waiting for my kid’s bus to drop her off. It’s over 10 minutes late but EdulogParentPortal says it dropped her off at the scheduled time. Don’t download EdulogParentPortal because it’s completely useless.

Signed up said my child was pending. Next day my child is no longer even listed. So I try to add a child it says the school doesn’t exist. So I can’t even sign up. Log out try to log back in EdulogParentPortal says I don’t have an account. So I try to set up a new account and I am then told my email is already in use for EdulogParentPortal. So I attempted the forgot password feature. Changed my password. Still can’t log in! Total waste of time.

Not real time. Only scheduled pickup and drop off time for the bus stop. Bus was over 10 minutes early and already gone and EdulogParentPortal still said 10 minutes to scheduled pickup.

The pick up and drop off times are reversed and for the wrong time zone. The alerts don’t function. Half the options, like Where’s My Child and Scan History have blocked access. EdulogParentPortal updates the bus location so infrequently that it has come and is long gone before I ever know it’s left the school. There’s also no Contact Us or Report A Bug option. Don’t bother with EdulogParentPortal.

EdulogParentPortal has some major flaws. It sends me notifications that my child’s bus is on its way AFTER they have already been picked up. The notifications and basic info are inaccurate on a daily basis. Nothing seems to work. In theory this sounds like and would be an amazing application to have but unfortunately it’s simply not reliable.

This is the first time/year using EdulogParentPortal but it was mentioned that the time zone is wrong after the latest update. Hope this isn’t a sign of things to come...
