Chegg Math Solver - math help Reviews

I’ve had CheggMathSolver for a few months now, I didn’t mind paying $10 a month for it Bc it was so helpful. Idk what happened but there’s a lot of bugs that need to be worked out. It started signing me out after each problem which was annoying to have to sign back in every time but now I can’t even sign back in. CheggMathSolver either asks me to sign in again or just says logging in and never logs me in. At this point I’m canceling my subscription and honestly think I deserve my money back for this past month. It’s been happening a while and I stuck it out Bc I assumed there would be an update but there’s hasn’t been.

IT SAYS ITS FREE BUT IT ISN'T! You have to pay $9.99 a month just to get one math problem solved and explained. I’m so mad I don’t understand my homework and I was so hoping this would help me understand.

My teacher is terrible at her job, but I needed to pass her class. No free trial to test how CheggMathSolver works? Horrible really. I put equations that I don’t understand and all I get is “sorry, we’re having trouble with this one at the moment. Have another problem to solve?” I thought turning off and on my phone will work but no, still the same message. Honesty this was a waste of $10. For everyone who is thinking about getting CheggMathSolver: save your money. Hey chegg developers, if your app was going to be bad like this than don’t charge people $10!! What a rip OFF UGH.

I have used Chegg since 2019. For some odd reason when I look up a math question and scroll down the solutions page trying to find an example question to use as a reference my account gets suspended. When I call costumer service they make it seem as though multiple people are on my account and thats not the case. I've had my account suspended twice for a reason that is very vague to me and I really do not understand. They keep saying 48hours and they will reach out to me but it’s now day 4 and I have not received and email or call!

It works only some of the time, most of the time it doesnt understand your question, even if you take a picture of the actual problem, it will say “no math found”. Then of course in the alpha (abc) button, not all the keyboard symbols are there, like for example a space bar. How critical a space bar can be, and yet they can’t even include one!! Definitely flawed, and has too many bugs right now to deserve a 5-star review from me.

Ok, first I thought it was a good to solve integrals in a fast way, cuz you can just input the functions you want, then the steps of solution will come. And I think this is what math solver supposed to be. However, after I pay the subscription fee, all it gave me was another way to write the original function I have typed in! (No answers, no steps of solutions, nothing is there. I have all the screen shots as evidence) instant cancelling my subscription right now, and I swear if you don’t refund me my first month I’m going to report this to Apple.

Misleading. It downloads for free. Will not even let you try it with a few problems to see if the way it explains the answers is even worth $9.99 A MONTH! Heck NO! There are excellent free apps. I’m certainly not going to pay $9.99 a month for explanations sight unseen. They are treating their customers like a money tree providing no incentive to pay by demonstrating first why they are worth the cost against the many FREE APPS. Not even a Trial period. Ah the young foolish developers strike again.

CheggMathSolver struggles with the most basic of derivatives. I paid $10 for it to be able help me out with exactly one problem. Every time I plug a problem in it gives me an error and says “it’s having trouble with this one”
Don’t overcharge me for an app that can’t do relatively easy math. There’s no way for me to even get a refund for CheggMathSolver that did not complete the task as promised.

So I got CheggMathSolver to help me with my school and honestly it’s the worst app it didn’t really recognize any of my problems it’s like it doesn’t want to do my work. But if it didn’t want to do my work what the point of CheggMathSolver .

It does compute all problems correctly. There a few that was wrong. The reason how I know that, I used two other math problem solvers, those other two computed it correctly where both got the same answers. CheggMathSolver needs work. At least get the problems solve correctly if they are asking people to pay for it.

For a paid service it answers less than half of what I need help with. Also having to constantly resign in between switching apps is a real pain especially when I’m working with a time limit.

The amount of math that this can do is abysmal if you buy this it probably won’t help you unless your doing one of the few things I can do photomath is a much better app that is free and does just as much if not more than CheggMathSolver and shows steps if it cannot be solved on photo math I doubt it can be done here

I downloaded CheggMathSolver because I had a lot of work to do. I thought it will work. I still had hope after I took picture of my problem. After that it said what you wanted. I said calculate expression. Then it’s like problem solved. If you wanna see the problem play $9.99. I was like OMG. It’s always better to do it yourself than to use CheggMathSolver

I get on and as soon as I press the solve button it crashes.
I’m on iOS 12
It saying that the latest update prevents crashes.
It does NOT!! :(

I love chegg math solver, it was a life saver for me, but i can be using it and it will just sign me out!!! is there any way to stop this from happening? until then i have to find me a more reliable app.

I was hoping to get help for pre-calculus but it didn’t understand any of my problems. I also had to pay to try it out, they should really do a free trial. After all this is for students. Maybe it’s good for easier problems like 2+2 but in that case why would I need it... very unsatisfied :/

I use CheggMathSolver to check my cal 2 homework and break down certain questions for me! Best money spent this semester! 🙌🏻

CheggMathSolver helped me with some of my assignments. But when it comes down to helping me solve word problems it’s couldn’t help me. Chegg charges to much for the minimum it can do.

I started my math class not knowing much CheggMathSolver has sky rocketed my grades

It allows you to have two devices, but we have more than two devices at home. They should charge more for family sharing or to let me use my account on my iPad , laptop, and my Mac. And, it doesn’t have the latest editions’ answers.

I struggle severely with math and I was hoping for a app that can help me by giving answers and steps on it so I downloaded it took a picture and I have to pay 10 dollars a month just for a answer. Plz fix it I understand you need to make money but. Come on. And my dad has signed in and has given me his email and password but it won’t work saying it’s incorrect and when it did work it would charge my account I’m a little confused

The camera doesn’t work right. Any problem I type in, it says it is unable to solve it. I paid $10 and didn’t get any functionality. No help. No usage for the money.
It would be nice if I could get in touch with somebody on their end and try to resolve everything.

Really bad this only wants money and doesn’t give you the answers you Snap a photo and it just shows the equation again no solution or you can pay but it’s waste if you are not going to pay for the answers to the problem I can’t give it zero stars if not I would

CheggMathSolver doesn't know how to handle negative square roots. Nothing at all in the I's. But so far everything else has been okay. Will update of further frustration continues.

Got chegg to check my work but turns out they don’t offer half the options mathway does. Literally couldn’t even get range checked only domain....very disappointed unsubscribed almost immediately don’t waste your time

Checked the review, read the review, thought I’d give it a chance and what do you know? I can’t even log in after already paying. I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling and still nothing

I pay for chegg already yet have to pay nearly that whole amount again for a stupid calculator that apparently can’t even solve calc problems? Nope. You guys seriously gouge children for money, what an awesome business

Can’t go through college math with out it

I wanted to try other applications rather than Photomath and I thought CheggMathSolver would be helpful. I’m so disappointed that I have to pay $10 to see the solution to a problem

I paid $10 for nothing the camera doesn’t work and when I type in an equation it doesn’t recognize it and says it’s having trouble, literal waste of money 👎🏻
