Love the concept but terrible execution

I gave it a five star originally because it was close to what I dreamed a language app would provide but I made a terrible horrible mistake for purchasing a 12-month subscription!! After enjoying WordUp for a month or so, WordUp became garbage after their failed attempts to improve WordUp , inste... Show more

After your two last update (last thursday), It doesn’t work on IOS devices

Hello, after your last two consecutive updates (I think both are the same update) your app doesn’t work now. When you open app, white screen shows up and there is nothing after that. I was in the middle of the hard working in your app and now I’m out of my schedule. Please fix your program and we c... Show more

I want to love it, but...

It’s making me crazy! When I’m trying to uncover the words I know/don’t know, I drag the word to its respective box and they don’t stay put! I have to repeatedly drag the word to the box and then it just pops right back into the center. Once I finally get one to “stick”, I then hold the next word o... Show more

It’s awesome, but...

The way of learning, the resources that shown for each word, and literally everything about WordUp are really great. I have just addicted to it and use it everyday.
So I decided to become a PRO member by the 3-months subscription plan to use Movie/TV-show feature and unfortunately, it didn’t wo... Show more

Use to recommend, no longer would unless fixed

When I first downloaded WordUp it was great, in just a few weeks I even upgraded to the Essential subscription because I knew it was something I would want to practice daily. More recently this app made a change and it’s been for the absolute worst. I use to be able to test myself and practice wo... Show more

The app is extraordinary but

Every time I select a movie it gets stuck and I need to force close WordUp to make it function. Weird, this bug 🐛 has been wearing down WordUp for months and the developers haven't had worked to fix the issue.

Otherwise, I would say I have left every other app on the store for WordUp. ... Show more

Great potential - Not Satisfied with Support - Buggy

I chose WordUp as my main app to study vocabulary and I'm paying for WordUp too. I find WordUp useful and the idea of creating WordUp is great. Completing the knowledge map is a good measure for building my vocabulary. So I'm satisfied to some extent.

However, WordUp has a lot of bugs,... Show more

Great app for kids learning vocabulary

I purchased WordUp for my kids to improve their vocabulary. They love watching the video clips - which definitely deepen their understanding of each word.
There is a bug though - every time a video clip is played on my iPhone, WordUp freezes. Please help fix it. Otherwise I will give five... Show more

Really good app

I loved WordUp ever since I started using it, however, now it’s not working properly, I guess since the last update where you have to watch ads, I don’t have a problem with watching the ads since I know it’s a way of giving support to the developers, but it gets lagged now, it just showed a messag... A way to manage different meanings of a word

WordUp doesn’t have any option to A way to manage different meanings of a word. Like, a word has 10 meanings and I know 9 of them. There is no way to separate the one I don't know from the others, so every time I’ve gotta get through all of’em! Frustrating!
It would be great if we only could ad... Show more

Problem on iPad Pro 12.9

This is a great app, but unfortunately it has problems with iPad Pro 12.9 (3rd gen), first it doesn’t support landscape mode (almost anyone who bought a big iPad wants to use it in landscape mode, just like normal laptop). Second it doesn’t even fill all the space in portrait mode and has lots of b... Show more

Amazing App

It collects the words you know, the words to learn, and the words you are working on. It is easy to navigate and has options and games that make learning all the more engaging.

It also sets goals and I have not seen any glitches in my usage.

Fantastic!

The best!!!

I think to buy the pro version, but sometimes WordUp was frozen. Will it be constantly? Or could you explain why it happened sometimes? I love this up but it drives me crazy. It is all the time freeze after 1 min using

Great app!

I’ve been diligently using WordUp and it has worked wonders for improving my vocabulary. You’re able to hear the pronunciation of all words by male and female; in addition, they have pictures and sentences, which I are beneficial. Overall, I highly recommend!

Excellent App!

I have never written a review for an app. Hopefully you will find my review to be helpful. I am extremely satisfied with Word Up and I found it profoundly useful with excellent customer service. I suggested to add the synonym for each vocabulary and it was updated the next day. I am impressed w... Show more

Great way to build your vocabulary

There are very few apps I actually like but this is one of them.
It pronounces the word for you, provides you with examples in articles and videos where people used the word, and tests you on the word 1-3 days later. Always keep growing your vocabulary. LOVE!

Fantastic!!!

I really enjoyed the application. If you once read the dictionary you can not forget the word because of many examples, movies and songs,....
I recommend it to all my friends.
I hope to buy premium version with a lower price since in my country 100$ costs an arm and a leg🥺

Notifications improve

This is the best app for learning words that I’ve seen, and it can be better if you improve the push notifications system. For example, when I say to WordUp that reminds me this word tomorrow, I expect that tomorrow I get a notification for that word, or even better if that notification reminds me... Show more

Incredible app for people who want to improve their vocabulary and writing skills

As a professional I was looking for an app that could help improve my English writing and vocabulary skills. WordUp has been incredible not only for the interface but also how it connects with content in the media so you can put the words in contexts.

I highly recommend WordUp.

Best app

This got to be the best app, it was so hard to find a good app that actually keep showing you the same words until you get it, it will make hard words you learn at school but forget it very quick stay in your head at all times I’ve actually enjoyed WordUp so much and don’t plan on quitting, plus i... Sound doesn’t work on app

WordUp works great except I cannot get the sound feature to work. My volume is up all the way but it doesn’t seem to play any noise when I hit the sound button. Help!

Fix the problem

I was using WordUp but suddenly stop it to work, I reset my phone but the problem continues. I like WordUp but fix the problems, also some buttons don’t work

Finally I found it

I’ve been always looking for apps to increase my depth of vocabs, and I’ve tried so many apps, but by the end it was all similar with all that boring teaching technique. Word app is the best app I’d recommend it to all levels trainees. What’s good about it that it gives you a try to get word app pr... Show more

A suggestion for related team

Dear manager or owner

You did well, the only thing to say is that you need to provide an option or function in your future update in order to save , mark or label some of idioms in somewhere to practice them more and more! Thank you very much.

AMAZING

WordUp is exactly what I need to improve my vocabulary! It’s really helpful and I love the fact that it gives lots of examples in different forms (like song lyrics and quotes). Thank you so much for making WordUp. It has made my learning process much easier and is my favorite app right now ❤️

5 star!

Wow. WordUp is insane. I have been searching for a perfect app for learning English for years. And finally I found it. Word up, a great team which can really have a great effect on our vocabulary. Keep it up and make it better and better. Good luck

It is much better than Memrise

I have been using Memrise for more than two years, but WordUp has more effective features to help you keep words in your mind.

Fix the problem

Unfortunately WordUp has not been working since ios 13 update

Best vocabulary app ever!!

I have struggled with learning English vocabulary for years but WordUp is everything I’ve been looking for this whole time. I can’t thank the creators enough 🙏🏻

In New update translation doesn’t work

In last update i cannot see the translation.
Pls fix it
And thank you so much for options of British and American accents 👍👌🏼🙏🏾

Problem in menu

When you click menu, you can’t use the objects

The great app I have even seen for building up vocabulary

Trust me, you can enjoy while you building your vocabulary with WordUp.

Great app

Glad I found WordUp. It has a lot of examples with the words clipping from tv, news, quotes. I like it even though it has small bugs such as stop responding or can’t back to main page sometimes. Overall it’s really good!
