I’m unable to even use WSView . I tried setting up the wifi gateway, but when asked to enter my wifi info it has a spinning loading icon right where I need got type, thus not allowing me to input ANYTHING. I can’t use it which means these products are now useless to me. Returning them.

Did everything I could to get Wunderground station set up with my TP3000WC and couldn’t connect. Was able to get the ecowitt connected after hours of failing at the Wunderground application. Terribly frustrating. I gave up and switched to the ecowitt weather station.

Lots of potentially great opportunities to put a system together. Unfortunately all configured using a mobile app and if that doesn’t work (which it doesn’t) then you’re left with a pile of useless hardware. Application immediately crashes when you first tried to configure a device - so you can’t add anything to monitor. Next release allows you to get past the add a device screen but then immediately crashes when you select that device to view it. So two releases of software that appear to lack any kind of testing and the application still doesn’t allow you to interact with any of the hardware they have sold to you - terrible solution.

Worked great until firmware update. No customer service number to fix it. Buyer beware!

The UI is buggy. Sometimes you have to toggle back and forth between screens to get it to respond. It would also be nice if the data they log to their website was presented in WSView . I use this for checking soils moisture and temperature throughout my garden so having wunderground just display the temperature and humidity isn’t very useful. At least their website makes up for most of it though it would be nice if sensor names were shared between the uploaded data and WSView .

Super frustrating. App is poorly designed to begin with and unusable because I can’t select a device from my device list without it crashing. There is no way to access the data generated without doing this. I happy to change my review once this gets fixed, but will have to return my sensors until then

Please integrate the ecowit website historical data graphs into the phone app.

WSView doesn't work if I'm not home on WiFi, that's a problem, the whole point of a weather station is to see if it's raining when I'm NOT home.

I didn’t like the UI to begin with but everything worked after setup. Now two weeks later, WSView closes immediately upon opening. I really wanted this to work as their sensors are great but they’re useless if I can’t read the data from them.

This is such a poorly designed app! I wanted to use with the soil moisture sensor. Read all the manuals. Configured the gateway in WSView , added the sensor. I see that the lights on the GW show that is is connected to the WiFi and that the RF is also connected but the sensor never appeared in WSView . How do I see the moisture? No clue. I cannot add new sensor as device because there is no such option. I cannot go to the setting and change things there - have to start from the beginning.

This is a second moisture sensor that I buy and the software is just ridiculously bad. It doesn’t seem that any thought is put in the design and the usability of the apps. Returning all this waste and deleting WSView .

The device no longer shows up on the latest update for iOS or Android.

Please fix!!! WSView was working fine until the update and now I received notice that my weather station is "no longer shown on the map." (message below)

Device list is blank after most recent firmware update. Reset device and app still does not work.

Originally worked well and still does, but you can no longer temperature in unit settings. The first line at top of page is hidden beneath top bar. This same thing happens when editing the first underground station. The station is hidden beneath top bar. I am using an iPad 3.

WiFi gateway is slow to show in the device list. If WSView is searching for devices and that is the reason the gateway does not show in the list right away then please add some indication that WSView is searching. A blank screen leads you to believe WSView isn’t working.

I don’t like that WSView ’s default doesn’t show your station unless you have configured Weather Underground. I do not use WU and I find it annoying to have to navigate several clicks to see my own weather. I just use the Ecowitt weather web site, and for my purposes I’m very happy overall, although the website could also use some improvements. The GW hardware and sensors seem solid. I hope this company continues to improve these products.

I have WSView to control water sensor devices and it does what it’s supposed to. Since the last update though, when I try to rename a device WSView shows an image of sensor and blocks the pop up that would let me make the edits. This is a bug that should be fixed. Thanks!

Today I set up my GW1000 Gateway and Soil Moisture Sensor, and WSView does exactly what I want it to do: connect the GW1000 to my phone, and connect the soil moisture sensor to my GW1000. It tells me the soil moisture of my plant and reliably updates the data.

Seeing as everything is working well, I’ll be getting more soil moisture sensors for my other plants.

Ever since the last update WSView can’t find my station. It is ok on other sights. Another phone hasn’t updated and it works. Can I have the old version back please

App will not connect weather station to WiFi. Period. End of story.
On my way to Amazon to leave the weather station a 1 star review as well
