Show more oject Manager and loyal / faithful customer of V N B - my concerns follow: 1. I've had problems, within the past hour (3:00 AM - 4:00AM) attempting to contact you at 'vnb.com' - which is in all my literature from VNB. I know this seems "trite" but I've just spent an hour of my most critical time of the day discovering that "e-address" is for Valley Bank - duh!! Please provide your correct "e-address" Were you aware of this? 2. However, my most major problem with VNB is pretty serious - $ dollarwise - and is really pissing me off more as each day passes !!!! About 6 weeks ago my wife and I decided to purchase a new car and finance it with our bank - VNB. We started out with our local VNB Branch ln Haymarket. Our 1st task was to establish an acceptable Loan amount which would fit into our budget. I went down to our Branch, walked in and asked to speak with the person in charge of auto loans. I was advised that "she" was out of the office. I left my phone # and asked that 'she' call me as soon as possible. We never received that call - even after calling the Branch, reminding them of our request - so after 1 week, I decided that this had been just a 'slip up', so I visited the 2nd VNB Branch which is in Gainesville - SURPRIZE!!!! The same thing happened, so - again - with no response from that Branch, i went to one of your Manassas Branches - made the same request and SHAZAM!!!! VNB pulled the same - identical trick. A regular guy would have immediately cancelled his bank account and went to another source for his loan; but me - the 79 year old military Vet just calmly went to an auto dealership and requested that they handle the whole thing. Brown's Hyundai in Manasas did just that!!!! My wife and I purchased our 2nd Hyundai - a 2022 Santa Fe for $39,000.00 (Our 1st Hyundai was purchased in 2008 and now has just under 200,000 miles and runs great !!! We kept it to attempt to get over a quarter million + miles. Financially, we got screwed!!!!! Brown's set up our Loan with Hyundai Financial with $9,500.00 up front at 'whatever' rate for many years at a ridiculous amount !!! Yes we got screwed !! So VNB, that's my problem with VNB. We'll continue to be good - loyal customers but really pissed off with VNB's careful attention to their customer's needs.
