Unable to add the widget to Home Screen, only Today screen. Even then, it just says “Unable to load”. Looked through Settings and looked at Go Premium and neither mentions anything about the widget. I liked the clean interface thou. Onto the next one!

EPIC looks great. but really only functions for tide report. wind is almost always off. water temp is accurate in only some areas (like santa teresa costa rica is good and socal is totally messed up). wave size is literally never correct for example. im at j bay SA right now and it says it’s 14ft. which is super off. the biggest sets are at around 6ft right now. also the j bay report is not specific? sidenote you have 1 report for an area that’s around a point. it would be nice to know if it’s only good at super tubes or at lower point. maybe split the area to two or 3 points and label them by the spot name? gotta keep using MSW until this app starts updating the surf forecasts and EPIC more frequently

EPIC has the best UI design of any surf app. Widget is perfect. However, without accurate and up to date information it’s just useless eye candy.

I’ll keep it around just in case there is an update soon. Windy is still #1.

I would change to 5 stars if it didn’t misreport water temp as “94F” in Santa Cruz. Water temp is 65F today on a 59F day (which is warm!) but it’s never 94 in the water. Aside from water temp, wind reads 19mph right now but it’s 8:30am there is no wind at all. Sometimes it will say 1mph wind and I get blasted by 20mph gusts. So basically EPIC is way off on most of the data. Still better than Surfline which is also way off plus bad design. Hopefully you fix the data, and I can change to 5 stars.

Love the UI and beautiful design of EPIC. It’s easy to see at a glance what’s going on. That would be great if the surf forecast info here were accurate or at least close. For example today this app says that Huntington Beach is over 10 Ft. When it’s actually closer to 4 Ft. The report within app does not accurately reflect what surf height at beach will actually be. Its apparently 1 buoy readout, and not taking into account other factors. Would never pay for this unless they are going to give accurate report. Right now it’s a only serving as a tide and wind meter for me.

EPIC is beautiful to look at and has the potential to be really useful. Unfortunately, the forecasting is wildly inaccurate making EPIC useless at this point.

Is it real or a sales pitch?

Need more time to see accuracy of forecast.

Would love an option to see buoy data closest to my local.

The title says it all. EPIC looks beautiful on my iPad Pro however 95% of the time my iPad is in landscape mode with a keyboard attached.

Water temperature is off in locations near me, and it’s off by more than 20 degrees. It’s mid winter in Southern California, yet it reports the water temperature at over 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Obviously wrong

I was trying to find an app that focuses on waves forecast and I have finally found it . Great and neat design , easy to navigate and well designed overall. The reason it’s 4/5 is that I can’t get the widget to work , can’t even find it once I try to add it from widget and I have given all sort of access and enabled all in setting.

I would give this five stars if the tide data was more accurate. Tide times are way off in South Florida.

Great app! It’s nice to see some of my favorite spots here. Most apps don’t have the spots close to me. The only thing I wish is that there was a widget for the Apple Watch also. After that, it would be 5 Stars.

Great looking app and widget, would have loved to have the moon phases in here also since it already has so much data. Please consider adding this

It’s sick

By far the most visually useful and beautiful surf forecast out there. Hands down, nothing else comes close. Doesn’t need any additional bells and whistles, I’d pay for premium if I could rely on the forecasting to be accurate.

Loving this so far. I can open EPIC and immediately see what’s going on at a glance for wind, swell, tides, etc which is AWESOME. UI design is a breath of fresh air compared to everything else out there. Using free version for now but will prob subscribe soon so I can use widgets and multiple spots
