I like the colors and aesthetic of YearinPixels personally, but you cannot change past days, so if you accidentally click the wrong button or if you change the labels, it’s ruined. It would also be nice if you could change the colors and choose them yourself, as well as having the option to add another mood or two.

All you do is pick a color each day for how it went, it takes two seconds. Then at the end of the month you can see a pie chart of how your month went mood-wise. It really cool and helps if you are trying to analyze your life. For instance, I looked at my mood when I had toxic friends (August-Novemeber) to when I no longer had them (December) and I can tell I’m a lot happier. I recommend YearinPixels (:

I started using YearinPixels when I was having a pretty hard time but seeing that my days were getting better and better made me feel better. I broke my phone and had to use a different one. So I went and Re uploaded YearinPixels to see ALL MY PIXELS GONE. So now I feel to defeated to start again until I know I have a back up. 7 months of doing it everyday is a lot and to see it vanish puts me off from starting again.

I downloaded this because I love the concept. I upgraded to full version hoping that buying more colors also allowed me to customize and add more moods. It doesn’t. It only allows 5 moods. I thought it was expensive but decided to risk it. Wish I hadn’t. I hope they will add that feature in an update real soon because I do love the concept. It could be very helpful in recognizing any seasonal or hidden grief patterns.

I had started at the beginning of this year and now am halfway into the month. I then saw an update that said to fix bugs so I updated without thought. Next time I opened YearinPixels , a l l of the days i had logged were gone. Everything blank. I honestly am furious. Overall a great app because it works in a simple and easy way, but i wish you could have an account or something to save so this wouldn’t happen.

I love the idea of recording data in pixels but would you consider allowing multiple calendars? For example, using a calendar to track moods, and another to track different types of exercise, and another for logging certain activities, etc. It would be great if a user could have multiple calendars to work with!

I've been using YearinPixels almost this whole year, and I love it! But one thing I'm having problems with is when I go to the analyze tab and try to swipe left to see the amount of steps I've taken along with my mood for that day, YearinPixels crashes. There's no way around it.

As a person who feels many emotions in a day, being able to register more than one emotion a day would be nice. Also being able to add your own symbols with notes, such as a star for days you work or a square for days you do a certain chore that you have been putting off. This could use a little tweaking to make it more helpful. I’d even pay a little for YearinPixels if it had more options.
