BE AWARE before signing up for this company. I was hopeful, ambitious, excited, and motivated to start working for SudShare. I loved the idea of having the flexibility to work from home at my own pace.
However, the reality was: This company is an absolute scam. You waste your time and energy for pennies. On top of it, they have the audacity to criticize your work, when they should be GRATEFUL they even have a single employee working for them!!! This company is absolutely brainwashing - they try to instill into your mind that you'll make "$20-$30 an hour" or that it's "Good Money" - and I'll tell you what... I made $75 (plus as $25 fee I added due to unsanitary conditions of this ladies laundry - so $95 )after doing a WEEKEND worth of laundry (100lbs), buying expensive detergent, ribbon, bags, and name tags required by the company (and a scale too if you don't already have one - ALL to which is NOT reimbursed to you), driving 25 minutes each way to pick up, bring back to my house, then drop off with gas prices at almost $5 per gallon, wasting my electric and gas bill, and also WASTING MY TIME FOR NO INCOME.
This company claims it protects Sudsters (washers) from unsanitary laundry - which is COMPLETELY false. Let me tell you something, IT IS NOT worth potentially bringing something into your home (BED BUGS, LICE, COCKROACHES, ETC.!!!) This ladies laundry I picked up was DISGUSTING - I mean ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!
Going back to the very beginning, I want to also address how misleading this company is. Before you go to pick up an order, they tell you how many bags you'll have to wash. The order I picked up said "3 bags" for an estimated payout of $90. Well, to me that didn't sound bad - as I figured it would be three standard laundry baskets worth of laundry...
When I got there, after driving 25 minutes, I was dumbfounded... These bags were ENORMOUS and extremely heavy. I'm talking 40-60lb bags. I was so upset. I couldn't cancel the order, as SudShare states once you accept the order, you have to proceed or basically the app will fire you. I figured I would proceed, as this was my first order with Sudshare, but the nightmare continued and worsened as the order went on.
While sorting out her laundry, there was a mound of sand dumping all over my floors to begin with - the laundry smelled TERRIBLE as if it was sitting out for a while. It was damp, musty, filled with pet hair. There were bottle caps and wrappers (to which could have damaged my washer and dryer) ---- THEN, as if that wasn't bad enough, there was a LIGHTER in my washer after doing one of her loads, THEN A WET BABY DIAPER within her laundry ---- TALK ABOUT DISGUSTING. I had to literally disinfect my entire basement and it took so long to get the STENCH of her nasty laundry out of my house. So gross!!!!!
To say the least, I was infuriated when I reached out to customer service. They made me negotiate the fee with the customer for her unsanitary laundry. The client has to "accept" the fee or it can't be added. I think this is disgusting. This company literally doesn't give a crap about it's employees. They don't protect us at all. They don't care. They don't pay.
THEN they had the audacity to state that my laundry "wasn't folded" in the delivery picture. My account was "flagged" and given a warning. I almost spit my water out of my mouth. I literally organized this lady's laundry into categories and tied them with ribbon so they wouldn't fall out everywhere when she opened the bag. You couldn't see through the bags clearly enough at all to make that judgement. They just accused me without looking further into the situation at all - to which their accusation was also completely false. This company is lucky to have anyone working for it.
I literally can't say enough bad things about this company. My experience was so terrible. This company needs to be literally shut down. It's not even equivalent to the minimum wage when it's all said and done.
For anyone thinking about signing up for Sudshare, GOOD LUCK!!!! You aren't making the profits. The COMPANY is.
