Impresso: Video Design Studio Reviews

Are you kidding me? Impresso has a $9.99 A MONTH charge to unlock and use all features. That computes to App Store highway robbery in my opinion. These developers are getting beyond greedy and Apple needs to do something to control pricing. I downloaded it and yes, it has some decent features but when I tried to create a video it limited it to 5 photos only without subscribing to their outrageous pricing. A couple of their competitors offer removing all ads and unlocking all features for a fixed $4.99 which I can accept but all these developers going with their monthly subscription fees for apps is a trend that is frighting as relates to the user experience in Impresso Store. I deleted this immediately after running up against their “free”
limitations. Get a clue developers; We The Users have had enough with monthly subscription plans unless it is for something long term like music that makes a real return on investment. Anything less is attempted extortion.

The templates and effects are nice, but there are a few issues.
1. It’s hard to trim. You can easily see where you want it to start, but to see where it ends, you have to watch the clip. If it’s off, it’s hard to adjust because can’t see where it ends; you have to watch the video AGAIN.
2. You can’t choose specifically where you want the text etc. you can only choose “this scene only” or “the whole video”
3. I wish there were folders to organize all my projects. I’d like to organize completed/in progress, or organize all my A/B testings together. All my projects are starting to add up and it gets confusing.

I agree with the others who say that a monthly subscription is uncalled for. Impresso prices are ridiculous and their “free” is never enough material to experiment with to see if you even like Impresso enough to purchase it.
Free trial? As they already charge your acct, with hopes you “forget” to cancel in 7 days, which will happen. Or, their idea of 7 days and yours never coincide. I have wasted more money on NOTHING with apps then anything in my life. Say maybe a person wants to use Impresso once a month? Does that justify $9.99?
Maybe if this was the only thing I did in my life and I used it to make hella $ every single day. Maybe there are those that committed who can justify the price~ I however can’t.

Super good app and all, but first things that I don’t like is the user face a little hard to navigate. Like I can do it, it being making a story or anything else on it. The problem is like other apps such as photoshop or Artist you can easily memorize how to do everything on them, because everything is just one push of the button on the same row as everything else. Now of course nobody is perfect, and I could be wrong about this to many other people. That’s just what I would say about it.

Update: all the new stuff is great but sadly my issue is still not resolved. I want to use Impresso to its full extent so bad but no update is working.

Impresso is a great tool to boost your presence on social media, BUT it has a major glitch that is driving me crazy. When you add photos and attempt to go back to the main menu to finalize the post it won’t let you and it keeps breaking by my up the photo albums on my phone. I have to completely exit out and close Impresso to go finish the post. Once they get that fixed it’ll be a 5 star app but this is a hugely annoying issue.

I really wish I could give Impresso 0 stars. Impresso is super basic it isn’t customizable the preselected templates don’t allow you to change the duration of time an image is shown. I seriously cannot justify paying $9.99 a month for Impresso this should be a free app. There’s nothing special about it nor does anything Impresso have to offer stand out from a bunch of free apps in Impresso Store. I’m pretty disappointed actually. Impresso may be good for someone who is more flexible and just using it for fun post but if you’re trying to use this for a business or something more professional don’t even waste your time or money.

Impresso has been a lot of fun to use. Usually I would try to do all of these animations with Adobe products but with stories it’s just so minimal I don’t want to spend the time. Impresso has saved me so much time as a social media marketer. Once I get more clients I will be downloading the pro version!

I love the range that you are able to do here with your edits. There are a lot of different templates to choose from and Impresso definitely has room to grow! Would love to see some free range where you are able to have some freedom with the templates and customize them a little more. Easy to use Interface :)

Impresso is so amazing for templates for my business but I am having issues deleting pictures and replacing them from my gallery. I just literally slapped myself in the face because I am so stressed from trying to get Impresso to work correctly. I keep closing out of Impresso and refreshing and I closed my tabs and still cannot remove the selected media. I just want to hurry up and get my project over with so I can post it and move on. Impresso also closing out on its own alot.

Impresso can make countless variations of content. The options are endless and I love how pexels video is intergraded in Impresso . I used to have to snag content outside of apps but this app eliminates that. Impresso in my opinion is the number 1 app to have for content creation and for marketing online social platforms.

Impresso doesn’t deserve the fee we are charged at all. When I’m making edits my video glitches. When I try to choose an animation it doesn’t give me a preview of what it looks like when I select it and even when I select it the animation doesn’t happen in my video. When I try to add a sticker or a gif it barely works on my edit. I need this to be fixed

I’m all about being creative in expressing anything. It’s good to see templates that can connect with your style while also being able to implement your own ideas at the same time. Just started with Impresso and will be a frequent user‼️

I was very annoyed with Impresso! I was very excited to use it & love the options & designs.
BUT- It kept on freezing it would not allow me to edit designs. I would refresh multiple times and even re-download Impresso more than once hoping it would fix the issue. No luck! There was not a good place for help or customer service at all. Very disappointed and would not recommend using this.

It has amazing text animations and templates 🤩 I don’t need any other app to edit my stories. It also helps me to share my recipes in a very organized and aesthetic way 💖🥧 Definitely a must-have app for small business owners like me!

Hello this is a good app it does everything I need it to, but one issue is the animations for text aren’t working all the way through. Like the first part of the animation works but the second part doesn’t and the text just disappears instead of finishing the exit part of the animation.

I just got it and I was blown out for all the things I’m able to do, I’m thinking if I should keep it. I’m not sure if I will use it enough to pay for it . Maybe they should allow free images . Still is a great app and I love it!

I just downloaded and shows the best and easy application that you can manage for your personal life and work. Easy to use and very complete. I highly recommend it

Apps kept crashing in the middle of editing.

Also switching templates or adding video to your storyboard interrupts the text that you already added making you start text editing all over again for each frame. Text does not stay with the frame for some reason. Extremely time consuming to refix.

I absolutely LOVE this app!! It instantly makes all my content look so professional and I can make videos and posts very quickly. It’s perfect for someone who uses their phone for creating content!!

Why some people are complaining is beyond me.
But everything Impresso gives a $9.99 charge should be nothing to you.
Thats my take. But as long as you keep improving Impresso i will use it.

I love Impresso . I used to never find a good app to make photo slideshows, but on this app, you can do everything! There are varieties of videos to make, and everytime I make a video, I am never disappointed! You can make so many memories, just by making a single video!

Impresso has wonderful flexibility and is worth the price to upgrade to premium. Fairly simple once you’ve created your base document you can upload in a variety of templates that easily upload to Instagram and Facebook. Love it!

I like Impresso a lot. The one thing I’d like to see changed is the ability to re-size pictures within each template and possibly move the picture boxes around a bit l.

I was instantly impressed with how easy it was to make professional videos.
Honestly, im very surprised this is the first time ive used Impresso!

Impresso works so well and the UI is very well designed!
If you make any kind of marketing videos, definitely give this a try!

I love this because it is really simple to make and create. I like to make edits but I never found the right app until I found this one! Its amazing because u have fall designs and winter and I love the summer beach one, highly recommended Impresso!!😊

This is a good app. It’s easy to use, but there just isn’t much to do on it. I feel as if there should be a custom transition so you can create your own transition. I’m from Funimate and I was so excited for Impresso and when I finally got it I felt let down. Funimate is a great app but this is ok. Maybe some more updates in the future would make it better.

I love this app! It’s just a lot of people are wondering, how to put videos in the edits you can make with this app. Please have a button that says “Put videos.” Just something like that, since there are so much people that are confused, such as me! Thanks Funimate/this app :)

I have used your other app, Funimate, since 2017. Y’all amaze me with this new app! It’s amazing!
I wish you could do more, like actually connect with a community (it would make it more fun!), and have more text fonts. What I would LOVE, is if we could have usernames ❤️
