EF Hello is good as far as it gets: immersive, lots of listening and speaking, without much typing. All good. I went through all of the foundation and beginner lessons and was looking forward to continuing into the intermediate lessons. There are extremely few.. This is ridiculous. I complained and they said that they were sorry, that I should try another language, like Spanish. Obviously, quite discouraging and i feel ripped off.

LearnEnglish seemed to have good promise, but falls short when trying to speak. I consistently have to repeat each sentence over and over and over. I thought maybe it was me, but other language apps hear just fine….even better. I would not have purchased LearnEnglish, but I didn’t cancel before the trial period. I’ll use it for listening and general knowledge, but am usually frustrated after a session. There is a lot of content, though. I would give this 2.5 stars because of the feeling of only getting half of its value. Maybe it’ll get better in time…

During the chat session, when there are multiple options for answer, there is no way to scroll the different answers. This bug renders the whole exercise unusable.

I often have to click “okay” 2-3 times consecutively confirming the same information when completing a lesson.

The quizzes are very easy to guess the right answer. Unfortunately, the information in the quizzes itself is not often explained in a helpful way.

The lessons honestly don’t really teach much at all about the etymology of a word or why something is the way it is. If they do it is at a surface level and always entirely in English. The quizzes are more memorization and recognition than understanding.

I think LearnEnglish could be a lot better. I’ve been using it pretty consistently, but may start looking for alternatives. Would not say it is worth paying for.

last month I had to open the MacBook voice setting to turn the microphone on. It will be correct. But maybe your previous release has changed something. It wouldn’t work.

One thing I didn’t like about LearnEnglish was that the ai feedback is not very helpful. Also, i hate that LearnEnglish ask for 5 star reviews after every course.

Ef hello is a great app to learn French you listen to real conversations and it is very interactive allowing you to speak into the microphone and it quizzing you after. I love that it gives you an option to review your lesson the only con is that you do have to pay 💵😭if you want to learn more than the free lessons given.

Love the method and content so far. Was, however, disappointed that they charged me immediately rather than at the end of the 7 day free introductory period, which left a bad taste. Good thing I like it otherwise would have angrily asked for a refund, but as I said, it left a bad feeling nevertheless.

LearnEnglish said it’s version is 30.4.2, which is latest updated. But in here, it said the version is 4.5.2 I am confused.
I also don’t like the new AI FEATURE. I am not be able to check the procedure when I finished some of the tests. For example, I can not scroll back to check my answer when I click continue button to the next. Neither can I listen my voice when I practice speaking test. I want to scroll back to old version.

Hope a new feature to collect all my wrong answers. Thank you

I‘ve been using the pro version of LearnEnglish and like it, but for some reason I can no longer open the lessons

I’ve been using LearnEnglish to learn spanish - it’s been very enjoyable so far. There are a ton of different courses to take that range on all different topics, plus there are some impressive AI features that make it feel like it was made for me. Great for anyone of all levels to learn/improve a language!

Wonderful app for learning Spanish! Lot’s to choose from and they tailor some courses for you through really cool AI features which are pretty intuitive! Would recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

LearnEnglish is so cool and very easy to use. You can switch your english level and also can check your progress daily. Really enjoying using LearnEnglish for improving my English. I like how they customise all the lessons for Beginners/Intermediates/Advanced. I hope they will keep updating/improving LearnEnglish .

I am taking this course to learn Spanish. The ap is easy to use and explains the answer if you answer incorrectly. It also has you pronounce the words until you say them correctly. I have only completed the first lesson and am eager to continue with learning more

I study Italian using EF Hello app and it is a great experience for me - very interesting and to the point, teaching most of the necessary phrases you might need in real situations! Thumbs up!

LearnEnglish is literally everything I've been looking for so far and the price isn't bad for a wholes year worth of stuff. I love it and I can't believe as an avid language learner I hadn't come across it before

This is my first time trying LearnEnglish , so far I am loving it.

First Spanish language thing I have ever heard of in my life and it is easy for me and I am only nine years old and I was when I did speak Spanish especially when I was little because I’ve always wanted to speak Spanish so that whenever I go to bless me with the Spanish, I am a really like Like to speak Spanish and I know these words: the stress Quattro Singh associate, it want to know whether ideas.

This is a wonderful learning English app from beginners to advanced. The lesson materials and contents are very practical for our daily life or any situation. You won’t be disappointed!

LearnEnglish is one off best practice flow in English learning apps. I love that learning process.
But unfortunately registering on app and saving progress just should be done with mobile phone number and sms verification. I hope they add email option to signup.
