I was REALLY excited about notOK, even shared it on Facebook for my friends. Got my girlfriend to download it and be one of my contacts. THEN I found out I HAVE TO PAY $2 FOR THE SERVICE EACH MONTH. This is supposed to help prevent people from committing suicide, by charging $2, you are severely shrinking your reach with notOK and compromising your integrity. Why are you trying to make a buck or two off of depressed people who are suicidal? Idk about you, but I don’t even pay 99 cents for ANY app or song on iTunes for a one time download. $2 a month is absolutely ridiculous. I saw your story on the news, I empathize, but I lost all respect for you when I went through the entire app and realized I have to pay for it...after a 14 day trial run. This is unconscionable. 10/10 do NOT recommend. Just call or text a friend instead, since you’re already paying for that service.

notOK is a waste of space on the phone, I mean seriously it’s an intervention app for gods sake. If notOK gave exact location then MAYBE it actually might be useful to people with illnesses. But this is literally a app just creates a group chat

notOK is stupid I will not be nice I have anxiety and that’s not good when the NOT Ok app won’t even let me get into notOK which is making me not ok. Do not get notOK! It will not work and will end up getting your frustrated and angrier than you were before you got notOK .

I was really excited to hear about notOK, and immediately downloaded it and plugged in my information. Only then did notOK notify me that there was a monthly subscription fee just to use notOK . I was very disappointed that there was a fee at all, as this is an important service that could have been very useful to me, but I was deterred by the cost. I wish that, at the very least, notOK made it clear that there was a subscription fee before I went to the effort of filling in all of my information. Ultimately, I believe this service should be free.

I love the idea that at the tap of a button you can tel close ones that you have something going on. There’s no having to wait for someone to figure it out, it’s very to the point. What I don’t love is that it costs money to use it. Not even a pay for premium features, you have to pay to be able to request help, this is also a monthly fee not a one time fee. I think that defeats the purpose in someways and that makes notOK inaccessible to some users. There may be people that do not have access to paying (ie they don’t have a credit/debit card, they can’t get an itunes gift card) so people that may need it the most will not be able to because of the cost. I understand the payment probably means there’s no ads but I’d rather ads than not being able to use this great idea because I can’t pay for it

I am mad at notOK.I was trying to call my mom because I wasn’t ok but it was waiting for a response when I had got the ok when someone knows to call someone it also needs four or five people to have for the contact .😡😡😡

notOK Store says it’s free but the faq on the website says there is a monthly charge. The terms and conditions still list a monthly charge. Looks like some cleanup and clarification is needed before I’m comfortable using or sharing notOK.

Such a great app that will save lives! A small subscription is worth it especially for those that are going through a hard time and need to be within close contact! I look forward to seeing notOK grow and with more users and support I believe we can help this company enough to where they can make notOK free!

This is the best app ever if you have someone that is suffering from anxiety or depression! Saved my daughters life the other day when she pushed her “not ok” button instead of jumping out her open bedroom window. We were able to get to her from downstairs and get her some extensive help!!! Thank you for creating notOK!!!! Worth ever dime and more!!!!

If you struggle with depression and thoughts of suicide, you are not alone. Lots of people do. I do. But I fight back by having a plan. First, I reach out and let people know I am having a bad day. Then I call for help by texting or dialing a prevention hotline. Then I follow up with my mental health team.

I still have bad days but be being prepared I don’t worry or stress about it as much. notOK will be a wonderful part of anyone’s plan.

From what I’m hearing this is a great and easy to use app able to help people with their struggles and possible save lives the only thing from what I hear is that u have to pay which in many ways is not very convenient I fee as though there should be a premium that lets u make friends call people at any time for an unlimited amount of time and add friends as well for convos I think notOK without premium should give u and hour to talk to who ever u want and as many people as u want however u can not add people or make friends but that’s just me over all this is a great app with very good intentions and I have very high expectations for notOK😁💯❤️

notOK is great! Folks are complaining about the $2/mo, however that’s disclosed before you even download notOK . Also, one trip to Starbucks is more that the $2/mo. They have to maintain the cost of notOK and the other relationships. It could be free and they have ads cover that cost instead. I wouldn't want that.

notOK alerted my mom that I was not ok and she showed up very fast. Love the speed of this and I recommend this. Very very well developed app. Thank you not ok!!!!

Apple needs to clear off the old reviews complaining about costs. It is now funded by donations. This is an incredible and beautiful idea for an app.

This is such an awesome and simple idea! I love it. I came across notOK on Linkedin and downloaded just to see how it works and it is great! Highly recommend!

They listened to all of the reviews and made notOK free. Stop judging notOK based off of other people's reviews. I just downloaded and signed up and there is no subscription cost what's so ever! I've recommended this to all of my friends and they all love it. I RECOMMEND 10/10!!!!!

Please disregard all the negative reviews on here. notOK is now free to use and it works like a charm. I love it. It works great.

I need to enter a valid AMERICAN number to use this? Seriously? America the world doesn’t revolve around you!! Canadians have depression and anxiety too! And guess what? Literally all races and nationalities deal with this issue. I Recommended it to my other Canadian friends once I read about it, but nope! We can’t even have access to it cause our numbers aren’t valid. And I read some reviews and apparently you need to pay for it? Defeats the whole purpose!
