This is our second year using this timer at our vacation home and now we have plants dying from lack of water because we have to go through the many steps to reset it. It works for a day then the next day it stops working again. We went through replacing batteries twice in one week with brand new Duracells only to not get connectivity after a day. We reset everything again, got ot to run manually, checked it 12 hours later at its normal run time and it worked. We went home thinking it was working on May 13th. I am back today only to bone dry soil and shrubs and trees brown from lack of water. Went through all the steps again but cannot get it to work at all. Uninstalled and reinstalled app then redid steps. Still does not work. All it says is check batteries cause it does not find the timer. Changed batteries still nothing. Will have to find a more reliable timer. I want something that lasts more than one watering season and does not cost me me my expensive shrubs.

The Bluetooth range is very limited. It cannot turn on an outside faucet from inside the house. It loses connection very easily and does not reconnect very easily. To reconnect, I must turn off my iPhone by clearing memory and then find unit once I’ve turned on my phone again. It does not hold the schedule or watering duration data in the unit so if the connection is lost the water does not turn on as scheduled. To use the timer I must keep my phone on inside my car which is about 6 feet from my water faucet. In short this is a very disappointing and useless purchase. I’ve purchased a b-hyve which allows me to at least turn on my outside faucet from inside my house and program more schedules. Had I known the limitations or poor design or poor app operation of the Hunter BTT, I would not have purchased it. Btw I purchase a second unit to see if the first unit was a dud. Unfortunately the second unit is as bad as the first purchase.

I have 2 of the 2 zone and 2 of the 1 zone devices and they are all over the place.
I’ve set the times on the single timers but when I go to change the time and hit save it just goes back to the time I originally set.
On the 2 zone timers it’s all waked out. They don’t even turn on unless we do it manually. The front one I just tried to set on a cycle timer, but when I tried that on the back one it doesn’t even allow me to set it. I click on the cycle and the page is blank. But most importantly they don’t even turn on and I’m tired of messing with it.
