Crashes when I attempt to add or download new recipe. IOS on iPhone 14. I have updated my phone, deletes and reinstalled app, turned phone on and off, and sought app updates. Please help.
Beginning today Paprika3 on iPhone13 closes when I attempt to exit an existing item in a recipe, the grocery list, or the pantry. Please provide help. I have: updated to latest version of iOS & Paprika3, cleared the cache, deleted & reinstalled the app.
I just purchased a Paprika 3 app because my old Paprika will not open up more than one second when I open it on my iPad. What can I do to get my app to open up long enough to pull the recipes off or can I combine two apps. It’s not letting

Do not buy unless you plan on spending more money each time this app is updated, and potentially losing all of your recipes if you don’t.
I purchased the Paprika app many years ago, and since that time I have used it almost exclusively to store all of my recipes. I use it multiple days a week. Many of these recipes are from from friends and relatives who have since past away, and that are irreplaceable. Those recipes have given my family something to remember them by. Imagine my horror today when I went to pull up the app, and it wouldn’t open with a message that the developer needed to update the app. I went to the app website to discover that there was a new version of the app, that the old one would stop working eventually. This was from 4 months ago. A developer that was responsible and cared about its user base, would have put a message on the old app, so their customers would have a chance to make sure they either backed up their recipes and moved to the new app, or downloaded them to have a record. They did not.
As it is, I purchased this app in the hope that I had set up the cloud back-up. Apparently, I had not, I have lost all of it, and given another $5 to the people responsible. I would try to contact the developers, but their support is a glorified FAQ.

I have been looking for an all in one kitchen organization app. I watched quite a few videos on this app before purchasing but unfortunately I’m a little disappointed. I didn’t realize that you have to manually enter your favorite recipes from cookbooks. I can just scan them in with another recipe app I use. If you just have recipes from websites you’ll be ok but I don’t have time to manually enter recipes in. What made me download this app was the pantry tracking. I expected the pantry and grocery list to communicate with each other. In other words when adding items to grocery list from my recipes, I expected it to recognize that I already have certain items in stock. I haven’t found a way to do this other than looking at each list. Paprika has some amazing tools but I already had the basic bones with my other pantry app and recipe app. I hope the developers will continue to work on ideas to make this better, then I could get on board. The fact that I can’t take a picture of my favorite recipes and have it populate the recipe is a dealbreaker for me. Hopefully I just haven’t figured out how to do it.

This is by far my favorite recipe-keeping app. It's not also a huge database of other people's recipes that I have to wade through or have pushed in my face when I'm not looking for other people's recipes, and the importing system is fantastic. I send a recipe to it from the web and it shows up perfectly and flawlessly, complete with a photo (provided there was one in the original recipe on the web, of course). The app is really pretty indispensable. The developers seem to know this, however, and charge for each successive update – plus they don't even seem to notify you of this in the old version you've already got on your phone, but let you just keep using it until you start to encounter bugs and decide to go looking to see if there's a new version on the App Store. There is, and it's gonna cost you.
I have to admit though: the quality of the app justifies continually paying for it. I may not like paying for each version, especially when money is tight, but the developers do earn and deserve the price they ask.
