They list me as a Democrat for Massachusetts and a Republican in RI. They also send itl out push notifications for liberal causes. All the information they provide is easily accessible on Google. Outvote is the fast food of apps. You can eat fast food, but why put something that's bad into your body. Same concept here,. Why put an app into your phone that is bad?

The font size is small and very narrow, which makes it hard to read.
Causes and organizations are limited to really big ones around the country, but not comprehensive.
Asked for my full name and number, which I didn’t give and prefer NOT to give on a political app.
No directly-related Black Lives Matter causes that I could find, but that might be my own user error.
Disability causes are next to 0 and this is very problematic considering the resurgence of disability advocacy.
This has promise but I think it needs a lot more work before it can be considered useful to a large extent.

Impactive was very easy to use, the messages were easy to adopt or compose.
However, data compiled for my contacts had not been updated and was more than two weeks old.

It’s a nice way to see who you should nudge and easily send messages to them, but some of the matches are bad. I select the appropriate match or fix them in contacts and resync and they’re still wrong. Also there should be a way to not pull in businesses, etc that are obviously not people.

I cannot scroll down to click on all the available message options. I can only click on the top 3, so it doesn’t let me select the text my “woke” friends option to tell them about Impactive.
I cannot group text everyone. So, once I’ve chosen a group of people and a particular message, I still have to send each message individually.

OutVote is basically good. I can’t get it to rotate into landscape mode on my iPad. Also sometimes it doesn’t list all responses in inbox.

Easy to use and pretty interface. Need to make it more clear what the icons mean next to people’s names & sometimes the data isn’t the most up to date information.

Good idea but I can’t even get to all the message options. It also doesn’t allow searching by my state (WISCONSIN) even though it’s a swing senate seat so 90% of my contacts fell to “other.”

Really easy app or use and super cool to do actions and mobilize a progressive community of people on it. I like using Impactive in the time of Covid-19 because it’s good to stay connected with friends and family who care about the same things as me.

I love Outvote, because I don’t know a lot of people in swing states, but I know some people who know some people who do. Also Impactive is fun & easy to use. It’s a great combination to have the most effective tool to make a difference in your hands AND to be able to reconnect with old friends for a good cause.

Outvote made it super easy to send out tons of voting reminders quickly and efficiently. It’s been great to restart old political conversations and get new ones going, too. The fact that the communications are 1-to-1 makes voter outreach authentic. I’ll be using Outvote using right up to the midterms.

The first thing it does is require I make an account with my phone number. Instead, I clicked “privacy policy” but got a blank page. I don’t trust it. There’s no reason it should need to harvest my personal info before it can even show a welcome screen or offer any functionality. Too aggressive and skeezy, nope, I’m out.
