Haven’t been able to use it. Just keeps crashing
Cannot “sign in” after I’ve already made an account. Can’t pay for parking at the right meter. Just pay the meter, worst app ever.
Crashes on load. Newest iPhone 11 pro and up to date.
App is trash just like the city. At least fix ParkChicago so it doesn’t crash
You can’t search for anything except meter number. Why would I search for a meter number? ParkChicago literally does not serve a purpose.
I love the idea - getting a real-time view of available parking meters. Unfortunately ParkChicago doesn’t work at all (at least not on my iPhone X).
I see a map with a green box, but no info on available meters in any of the neighborhoods I have visited.
What I see in ParkChicago doesn’t look at all like the screenshots in ParkChicago Store.

Barely usable. Most of the buttons don’t actually do anything most of the time (e.g. zoom to meter view).
When opening ParkChicago , I am instructed to “Please return to Meter View” but when I click “Meter view”, nothing happens.
For those of us that are colorblind, this is typical of most developers. Not taking into account 10% of the male population who cannot use ParkChicago with its color scheme. Frustrating
I have tried to download and reinstall and yet ParkChicago does not even launch on iPhone 11

The parking availability is completely inaccurate. Looking at the availability near Adler and the Shedd, it always shows high availability but that area always has very little available parking.
ParkChicago is pointless without accuracy.
Also, why is this even a separate app? Why not build this functionality into the main payment app?
Good to know the privatization of Chicago parking is lazily implemented.
Have downloaded this multiple times and it does not open when downloaded. It crashed every time
I’ve read the comments from five years ago and the problems with app are still the same five years later . Wow. It crashes when you want to zoom in . It doesn’t work .
ParkChicago is kind of useless without this feature, other than being able to find meters (which is never really difficult). Availability view for Higher, Moderate, Lower, just shows nothing on the view.
Shows a map of your location with a green shaded box but no meters are showing on the map where I know they exist. Also, tapping inside the search box doesn’t bring up the keyboard, so you can’t search in a location. Hope it is fixed soon, and hope it highlights rate differences so you can decide if walking 2 blocks is worth a much lower rate.
I’ve been able to use ParkChicago a total of three times since installation. 90% of the time it crashes on opening and doesn’t ever recover.
ParkChicago has great potential and is really handy in that it will give guidance on how many spots *might* be available in an area.
However, there’s a glitch where it only puts a big green box around your locale and the “return to meter view” button is not functional. Also doesn’t quite fit the screen correctly at the moment.
Once updated, I’d be happy to rate at 4+ stars, especially as it can take you straight to the “pay to park” app if you have it installed and set up already.
Or maybe it’s an isolated incident to my phone as it barely wants me to review ParkChicago lol.
Great app to find parking spaces in Chicago and possibly great at finding empty parking spaces. Had no issues!
I am new to Chicago and was wondering where I could park and ParkChicago helped me figure out where there was parking available. I didn’t even know they made apps for stuff like this! Super helpful!
I would’ve never downloaded ParkChicago had I never received my emailed receipt. There are negative (older) reviews - I believe they may have updated and fixed the issues! The parking meters are pretty accurate with location and pricing. Once you have chosen a meter location and parked your car, you are directed to this app Meter app. You can add your card information and easily reload credits to use. Super impressed!
