Scouting app crashes and locks up every time I open it. The screen goes black and won’t respond.

The app hangs every time I click the star rank, life rank or Eagle rank in the advancements section. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and the same thing happens every time.

How to fix SCOUTING app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the SCOUTING app on iPhone
Update SCOUTING app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall SCOUTING iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix SCOUTING on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve SCOUTING network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

SCOUTING Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix SCOUTING not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the SCOUTING App
1. On android, goto Settings » SCOUTING » click [Force Stop]

Update SCOUTING to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear SCOUTING App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » SCOUTING » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart SCOUTING.

Fix SCOUTING unable to contact server/ SCOUTING internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click SCOUTING » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto SCOUTING » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch SCOUTING
