I was so excited to find JeopardyPlayShow and how to use it with my TV. I even paid for a game pack. What a rip off! The answers do not show on the screen half the time. JeopardyPlayShow does not ever recognize speech correctly. Oh, and you cannot correct it when you see it has transcribed it wrong. And even correct answers are marked wrong, deducting money from your score...of course. The video stalls, tries to reload, just sits there. I could go on. Who do I contact to get my money back for the game pack? I’ve contacted the help email, but I’m not holding my breath.

We loved playing this game but could only get through 1/2 of one episode. Our connection dropped out multiple times during that experience and we had to to keep logging back in. We restarted Apple TV between drop-outs in order to reconnect. Ultimately we couldn’t get into the game at all - it was locked. We would love to try to keep playing, and considered buying a pack of games, but are not confident that it will work. Please fix it. So much fun when it worked!

If I could rate it zero stars I would. How do you have a program based on voice recognition with software that seems to just guess your answer? Handmaid’s Tale becomes “a mouse won’t tell” yabba dabba do becomes “you had a bad dad.” Like, you picked these episodes. You know what the answers are. How do you not figure out how to make it work? If you try to type it in, you have so little time it’s almost impossible and it still doesn’t recognize answers half the time. Absolute garbage.

There is so much potential here, which is completely ruined by poor implementation. I played the one game allowed for free and the voice recognition was inconsistent and at one point completely stopped working. As someone who has been a huge fan of the show since it returned to air when I was 13 this should have been an absolute joy but it was a frustrating disappointment. I will absolutely not spend a single penny on this game.

Holy WOW! The voice/speech recognition is horrible. We will get so many answers correct & yet the wrong words are recognized so we find ourselves -$9,000. Who wants to play a game where you repeatedly give the CORRECT answer but the game continues to mark it WRONG! We tried typing it out but when you type it out, there isn't enough time. It's just so disappointing.

Unless they update the software for the voice recognition, trust the reviews. JeopardyPlayShow is NOT worth it!!

Seemed like a great idea, but it frequently loses connection and freezes to the point that I had to uninstall and reinstall the software on my AppleTV. I have the highest speed internet, so that’s not a problem. We couldn’t get through a single game and had to restart four times. I would consider purchasing the packs, if I had some confidence that it would actually work.

This could be a great game... we were even willing to buy the in game packs. Unfortunately it fails to load and fails in the middle of every game. It also has a hard time clearly understanding what you’re saying... you say the correct answer and it hears something completely different. Frustrating. They need to do some work on this before it’s worth it.

The game attempts to work for a few minutes, but becomes disconnected easily. As well, JeopardyPlayShow is more confusing than you’d think to navigate, and doesn’t properly load even the free/trial games or episodes. Seems like it would be so fun, but unfortunately and frustratingly it doesn’t seem to work

This game has so much potential to be fun, but instead I can’t even figure out how to start an episode. When I did get on an episode from the beginning my phone would randomly disconnect and I couldn’t ever get it to reconnect. This game is essentially just one giant tease! Great concept! The most awful execution imaginable.

JeopardyPlayShow is a great concept but very poorly executed. The game froze twice halfway through when for no reason the connection between the phone and tv was lost, and you have to start over when it does, and your scores are erased from the past game. Could’ve been great but what a waffle.

There is so much potential here. My wife and I downloaded this immediately after we heard about it and jumped in to our first game. The first game went relatively smoothly, but after that it became increasingly difficult to play and navigate through JeopardyPlayShow .

We used an Apple TV, and experienced multiple disconnects, poor speech recognition, poor text recognition, video freezes, etc. If the littlest thing happened on the phone i.e. get a text or notification, it would disconnect from the game. Every time you back out of a game on the phone, you have to log back in every time.

So frustrating because I want to love this. Also, you have to buy episodes but it is confusing because some episodes are still locked even after purchasing the pack they belong to.

JeopardyPlayShow is really fun until it stops working. I’ve encountered the following critical errors:
1. Signed out during the middle of a game, ostensibly due to inactivity (but we were actively playing)
2. Even if a person buzzes in with the right question, someone else talking in the background can be recorded as part of the question, rendering it incorrect. There should be a way to end your audio input on your device.
3. Taking a pause in the middle of a correct question, even before the timer is near expiration, causes the timer to automatically end, and the correct question will sit there on the screen until a player buzzes in with another question.

I didn’t give it a 1 because my family and I laughed at how bad the xfinity sync was. We restated 4 times and never got through a full game. It either disconnected a phone, didn’t catch a persons answer, (allowing a second person to give that answer (that’s where the laughter started) or lost sync and gave us the answers before it paused to let us answer.

JeopardyPlayShow has so much potential. My sister and I attempted about four times before successfully being able to get through a game. It keeps randomly disconnecting. We had a lot of fun in the one game we played though! If it was more reliable, I’d be more than willing to purchase the expansion packs

My family and I love Jeopardy and competing with each other but a few things need to be edited to fix a lot of the issues with this game and make it more elite.

1. Many times it doesn’t read exactly the answer you’re saying. As long as it reads the correct answer somewhere in your statement it’ll give it to you though. Just a little better voice recognition technology is needed.

2. The ability to make the time to answer a question longer. If you could have longer time to answer, you could switch to typing out the answer if voice didn’t work. That setting is not currently in the game, if you can’t type fast you won’t finish typing the answer

3. Need more modern episodes. We played one last night from 2001, many out of date answers but truly cool to see how the game has changed over the years.
