Who did Caliber engage and engage with to build CaliberHomeLoans? The business side and the IT side are both incompetent. Or, a more likely scenario, as has been my experience in 22 years of IT work, IT builds a good app, then Marketing steps in to thoroughly muck-up an entire system. Open CaliberHomeLoans , wait for an eternity for the ad that is supposed to entice the user into refinancing, with no way to escape from the ad for what seems like forever. Next, CaliberHomeLoans tells you that your loan no longer exists. Fantastic. Wonder how much money was spent for some group of people inside the organization to pat themselves on the back and report to management that CaliberHomeLoans should be touted as a major accomplishment.

This is the worst, most useless app. I've EVER used. Or I should say, TRIED to use! It's no wonder you have so few users and such terrible reviews. If I could, I rate this ZERO stars; however, that's not a choice. It would take such a long time to even attempt to explain how many hoops I had to jump through in order to even attempt to set up an online account. I just wanted to pay my darn mortgage, and CaliberHomeLoans. made it literally impossible, and I am not exaggerating! I couldn't even get an email back from Caliber when requesting my password, even though I requested it 5 different times! There's so much more that went wrong with CaliberHomeLoans., but it would take me way too long to go through it all. As a matter of fact, somehow I expect that I'll try to submit this review and CaliberHomeLoans . will have yet another issue and I'll have written this all for nothing. What a joke! Why bother even having an app.?!?

CaliberHomeLoans itself is straight-forward and easy to use. The design is a bit old fashion compared to other banking apps out there. I have noticed a bug in CaliberHomeLoans that prevents me from setting up recurring payments. After I select the desired payment frequency, it brings up a simple form to enter the payment details. There is a link at the bottom where the user should click to review a payment agreement form. However the UI seems to be missing a button where the user can agree to the terms as I have not been able to confirm my recurring payment. It remains greyes out no mantee how many times I opens the agreement form. Can a dev please resolve this issue?

I installed CaliberHomeLoans on an iPad, but the dimensions are clearly meant for a mobile phone. Maybe the install system detected an iOS device and assumed it was an iPhone. Or maybe this is just the minimum viable product they chose to release. Either way, I'll wait for a release that uses the full screen area.

I just downloaded CaliberHomeLoans and it doesn’t work. I am immediately logged out with the message: “Session Expired.” Once I do get into the site, my loan info is not listed, but my profile and messages come up, but then immediately another message pops up that says: “An unauthorized request was made to the server. Try logging out and logging back in again.” I have tried this several times and CaliberHomeLoans still kicks me out without allowing me to do anything. I would love to be able to utilize CaliberHomeLoans when making monthly payments, checking loan balance, etc. I also searched for a way to contact Caliber support for CaliberHomeLoans issue as the website works fine. Couldn’t find an easy way to get assistance. Not impressed.

Last month, after several attempts throughout a week of trial and error I just logged on one day and was magically able to pay my bill. Any other time it would only show my already closed our loan and not the mortgage I was trying to mate a payment on. Since the update a week ago, I have had the same issue and have been unable to pay my loan. The information won’t pop up on CaliberHomeLoans or on the online site. Very frustrating as it should be fairly simple and easy to pay on your mortgage but it almost seems as if you’re trying to make people late on payments by virtually making or IMPOSSIBLE to pay online in any fashion......

I like the way the old page worked. Everything across the board and easy to find. I’m still not happy about wanting to charge me to give you extra money on my loan. Before it was a couple of clicks away and the additional payment was there. I still can’t see how opening my envelope, entering my additional payment amount, processing the check is worth it. I’m not paying for the additional fee to give you more money then I am supposed to do. You would think a mortgage company would want that cash as fast as they could get it and not want to gouge a loyal customer. Because of that I would not recommend Caliber and I have had 2 daughters recently buy homes.

This is the worst app I’ve ever used. They finally updated it so I can actually log in after several months. But now it takes you to the web login through CaliberHomeLoans , so you have to log back in every time. There is no option to remember your credentials or use Face ID. Caliber flaunts to use their app on their website, using the facade that they are tech savvy and connected. In reality, they obviously don’t care because CaliberHomeLoans could be so much better and have scales of terrible reviews. I can’t wait to pay off my loan and be done with them for good. By the way, they deleted my last review 🤷🏻‍♂️

I mean where do I start? This could possibly be the worst app I’ve ever used or seen. I’m trying to pay my mortgage and you absolutely cannot via mobile or CaliberHomeLoans . Once you log in, it shows my account details. I then click on it, and it reroutes me to log in again. I log in again, and the cycle repeats itself. The worst interface capability on the planet. Good luck trying to pay your mortgage if you are traveling for work. 2 years and still the same issue. Caliber are you listening to your customers? You know the people who keep you afloat? Fix this garbage.

Attention potential consumers… Please be advised and run from caliber. They have horrible customer service , their protocols are anti-consumer, and once you finally close on your loan good luck ever getting anything accomplished or speaking to someone that actually has any knowledge or basic understanding of lending. They just read from a script , put you on hold and transfer you to five different people. I am a real estate broker and I will voice this from the top of my lungs and to all my clients, all my past clients, and all my future clients, friends and family never to use caliber!

CaliberHomeLoans used to be terrible. They fixed the login and now it doesn't just send you to the website for login. All i wanted was an app to check my balance and payments and now I have it.

But youre not done. Id like to see the payment schedule complete with interest and principle components. Id also like to see an incorporation of the insurance (both liability and mortgage).

Caliber why do you even have an app? It never works right. Sometimes it will do facial recognition and then others it won’t. Then it says rather than using CaliberHomeLoans it wants to redirect to the web page. That is the only way I have been able to use CaliberHomeLoans for months and it’s very frustrating. Fix CaliberHomeLoans so I can pay my bull easier and you get your money faster. I’m frustrated that I had no choice in who my loan was through after you bought my loan from Veterans United home loans.

CaliberHomeLoans is not what it says it has. I was on desktop trying to gain access to my loan payment dashboard, but seems broken because I can’t find it anywhere. So, desktop is broken. Then, I decided to give mobile a try because the screenshots shows in the dashboard, however, when I logged in, it’s another disappointment. Not payment tab nor message.

Is Caliber Home Loans system under maintenance again? They should have had a message if it is so people don’t go crazy.

Ever since Caliber updated their web site, I’ve been unable to access loan details on my iPad (sorry, new site is incompatible with Safari), so I downloaded Google Chrome to my iPad, and still get kicked back to a log in page when I click the Account Details button. So I thought I would download CaliberHomeLoans . SAME FREAKING PROBLEM. My loan balance shows up, but as soon as the account deets button is pushed, back we go to the log in page. A never ending cycle of frustration.

Please fix this!!!

I’ve used CaliberHomeLoans to pay for the past 2 years. Try to log in today and it’s makes physically sign in instead of using my thumbprint. Log in, no information about my mortgage. I click link loan, and it asks for information including the loan number which I DON’T KNOW! I usually log into CaliberHomeLoans for that information. We’re completely digital so now I have to wait until the morning to call and pay my mortgage. This is such an inconvenience.

I read all the reviews and was leery about using their app. However, I decided to give it a try and I’m happy to say that it works great without and glitches or confusion. They must have listened to the complaints and fixed all the issues that others were having.

I had auto payments. Then the payments had to be made manually online every month. Now I no longer have the option of making payments on the website, I downloaded CaliberHomeLoans and the same issue occurs. It tells me what I owe but provides no way of submitting a payment. I have to call every month to make a payment. I have complained many times and the problem continues. It’s a waste of my time and of the operators time.

Can no longer log into CaliberHomeLoans — keeps asking for permission for “Borrower” app. To get past the screen, I give permission, then it comes up with a blank browser-like appearing screen. If I hit the option to cancel, end up back of the log in screen, OR I have the “opportunity” to apply for a new loan.

What gives? CaliberHomeLoans is GARBAGE now. I’ve used it for almost two years with minimal complaints but now it’s utterly USELESS.

Can’t give any lower than a single star. GARBAGE.

Since my loan was switched to Caliber it’s been a nightmare. CaliberHomeLoans does not work and always says “sorry we are doing maintenance” it’s been saying that for 4 months. The online portal says the same thing. I’ve been calling customer service for 4 months and their IT department STILL can’t figure it out. WHAT A JOKE! To pay through their phone automated system it takes 5+ minutes just to get through their props.

After the update it’s more difficult and a longer process to just login. When I try to login it takes me to third-party sites I would rather just stay on just CaliberHomeLoans thank you. Also card/ bank information is not saved (The old version used to save it). I have to re-enter in all of it every time. Please just go back to the old version not this version with all this third-party crap! Thank you!

It’s very sad to see an app that barely works. Login is painful from the website as well as in CaliberHomeLoans ! And once I am finally logged in, the first thing I saw was the alert with “something went wrong”. No matter what I do, the alert just keeps popping up when I try to see my loan information (isn’t what CaliberHomeLoans is supposed to do?) I as an app developer would be so bothered to ship an app that does not work. Where is the QA before CaliberHomeLoans is delivered?

Can’t make an additional payment from CaliberHomeLoans . Seems consistent that there are features but they don’t work. Could be useful but unfortunately the only value I get out of it is payment confirmations.

Tried emailing them from the email they posted in response to other reviews and got and email back: The group mobile only accepts messages from people in its organization or on its allowed senders list, and your email address isn't on the list.

CaliberHomeLoans used to work amazing but not anymore. Not sure what the developers did to improve CaliberHomeLoans but it needs to be fixed. When I try to log on, it says the data can’t be read because the data isn’t there. Please try again. I can only assume it’s a data issue on the developing side. There was an update three weeks ago according to this page which I can only assume a bug has corrupted CaliberHomeLoans . Need another update please

CaliberHomeLoans is useful. You can make payments, add more to principal, view balance, and view payment breakdown. Not much more you can ask for in an app.

I noticed in the settings there was a touchID enable tab; is there going to be a faceID enable tab?

I was having login issues on CaliberHomeLoans but could sign in fine on the website. When creating a password on the website it says it can be up to 100 characters long but CaliberHomeLoans would not accept my login until it was below 30 characters.

I tried to set up recurring payments and completed all of the fields and reviewed the agreements form but app didn’t let me complete the set up because the ‘slide to confirm’ switch was grayed out. I tried setting up recurring payments online but you have to print out a form and fax it in to them. This would be fine... if it was 1989. It is interesting how difficult they make it to make payments.

Keep getting message stating invalid character in payment date. Major issue. Started last month and still an issue this month.

I don’t often write reviews, but if the same I am having with inability to login with the correct credentials is the same issue many other customers are having why wouldn’t this bug be a high priority item to get fixed? Such a shame I can’t even get into CaliberHomeLoans to give it a good look and determine its effectiveness.

CaliberHomeLoans will not populate my mortgage loan data even after several attempts to verify. 10 minutes on hold with Caliber customer service results in being told I have to update CaliberHomeLoans which is complete BS as no update is showing for CaliberHomeLoans . Continued poor experiences with Caliber Home Loans from loan application to App not working - will never use this company again.

It’s a mortgage app - it gives me what I need. Not really any different than the Quicken App I had prior to my new mortgage with Caliber...

Not a fancy app, but is perfect for what it is. Way faster and easier to navigate than the web page.
