Weather forecast is pretty accurate but WTVYTV4FirstAlertWeather doesn’t work half the time.
Why is it every single time I need to view the radar due to bad/ severe weather the radar is always blacked out? Not much use when really needed!
The radar function is nice. That’s it though. It will have been raining for at least 5 minutes when WTVYTV4FirstAlertWeather tells me it’s raining, and the warning are very delayed compared to NOAA or the weather channel app.
They don’t update WTVYTV4FirstAlertWeather . For instance, it’s clearly raining and will be raining for a bit. However, WTVYTV4FirstAlertWeather says 5%. WDHN and TWC has better updated apps.
WTVYTV4FirstAlertWeather loads SO much faster than the weather channel! I can easily get the radar to load and don’t have to wait 5-10 min just to see the weather!
The best weather station by far in the Wiregrass! They always keep us informed during inclimate weather situations. Mr. Paul and his team are very knowledgeable and their professionalism is extraordinary. Thanks WTVY!
