WTVA Weather Reviews

Lots of people on these reviews have been saying that the bugs and ads are making WTVAWeather bad, as in lower ratings. The ads aren’t even noticing anymore. If you want to get on WTVAWeather , it may take longer than you’d like, but it has to load.

I really think this is a great app because it gives all information needed and even extra information that you will need daily. That includes a radar.

I recommend WTVAWeather as a five star review.

My last rating for WTVAWeather was 1 star. That was July 2019. There have been several updates to the WTVA weather app during that time should have made me increase the rating. My apologies for the 1 star hanging around for so long.

It is once again a weather app and a reliable one at that. The ads don’t bog the radar or immediate notifications like they used to.

My son lives in Starkville and I use it quite often, especially here lately to check on the severe weather. Gives this Momma a little peace of mind and if I have to give him a heads up. Have actually talked with him on the phone through a night of tornados watching WTVAWeather 3-1/2 hrs away because he had no power and no signal. Great Job!

Ok call me impressed!! I have WTVAWeather because I live close to Tupelo but I am in Alabama. I was expecting it to be valuable in our area, BUT.... I am now in the most southern part of Texas and it is sending me weather alerts for here!! THANK YOU!!!
Lots faster and more reliable than the Weather Channel app!

With kids, I don’t get a chance to watch the news/weather much, so WTVAWeather is PERFECT for me! Great for when I’m heading out the door and realize i don’t know if my kids need rain jackets or not that day... not to mention WTVAWeather has always been spot-on with radar. Great job WTVA!

This local weather app has always been my favorite-- up until the last week or two. Something has been changed. WTVAWeather now runs very slowly and I end up getting stuck having to watch an ad to see the radar. It makes me sad; if this isn't updated soon, I suspect I will be forced to move on and find another weather app. Please WTVA -- fix this! I am willing to pay!

I unfortunately updated WTVAWeather recently. I hate WTVAWeather now. I'm only giving it 1 star because no stars is not an option. Ads are rampant. My phone freezes when scrolling any page, and after about 30 seconds an ad pops up. Then when I try to close the ad my phone freezes again as I repeatedly try to tap the little x. Eventually I just close it. Guess it's time to search for a new weather app.

I loved WTVAWeather , but lately over the last week it has become Eratic at best and lagging behind all the time ! Please fix as this is the best weather app for my area !!!
Since the last update 5 days ago I cannot access the 10 day forecast I have tried to report the problem and it will not connect !

I like the new update. Please add a weather front option to the overlay settings. That way people can see where a cold/warm front is located on the map.

Love being able to view the temp and participation by the hour.

I use WTVAWeather often. I love Matt and the WTVA weather team because they are good at their jobs. WTVAWeather developers, however, are awful. Watching a forecast update is very inconvenient and the videos take a painfully long time to load. Good organization, awful app.

It’s great if it loads up, my getting tired of it not loading. I hope they get it fixed before I find something else

They tell you the same thing like eight times and yes it is helpful kinda but it tells you what you already know. It tells you when it’s rainy already that rain has been detected in your area obviously

The recent update has rendered WTVAWeather useless. Intrusive pop up ads for every screen.
Horrible decision to do this.

It's like they don't know what's happening one hour to the next. Said 10% rain for today and ended up being 100% all of a sudden. Get it together wtva folks!

A yearly subscription to ad free weather and news would fix everything about WTVAWeather (news app too). Otherwise, nobody wants to use this garbage.

I updated WTVAWeather a couple of weeks ago and it is AWFUL now. Ads slow it down and I'm on the verge of deleting it. Can't use it half the time anyways.

Uninstalled after receiving a weather “alert” saying it was going to be cool for Friday night football. Not a tornado or flash flood, just “cool”. Ridiculous. WTVA, you can do better than this.
