Why is it every single time I need to view the radar due to bad/ severe weather the radar is always blacked out? Not much use when really needed!

Weather forecast is pretty accurate but the app doesn’t work half the time.

The radar function is nice. That’s it though. It will have been raining for at least 5 minutes when the app tells me it’s raining, and the warning are very delayed compared to NOAA or the weather channel app.
