The personal ads don’t have pictures on cPro . I was told that is an Apple thing. Going from the regular site to cPro to respond, (cause you have to use cPro to respond) is a chore, hard to find the ad again, and I can’t figure out how to add a pic to a reply. So it’s ‘meh’ at best.
Also, if you reply to more than one ad, you’d better make notes about who you sent it too, and what for.. and that still isn’t enough to ensure you don’t get a reply from someone and you can’t figure out what the original ad was for... the replies only sometimes has a link to the original ad, and even rarer, has a text of what you sent the first time.
Ie:: a week ago you reply to an ad for a lawnmower, yesterday you replied to an ad for a 2 year old Suburban. Today you get an response from someone you don’t know or recognise and all it says is.. “ yes, I still have it.. but it has to go today, I have to get it out of the garage, make me an offer”
... thinking it’s about the truck.. you offer a perfect stranger 20 thousand American Dollars, for a 6 year old Briggs and Stratton lawn mower with a broken pull cord. The only consolation is, you weren’t going to get truck for that price anyway. Lol

My problem with this is when registering an account.

I sign up and once I'm needed to validate my e-mail I look through my e-mails, even my junk mail and I never find an e-mail from this app.

It's really frustrating not being able to contact the ads I'm looking for because of this problem. I tried using a yahoo account and hotmail, they're the only ones I have and neither work

Old this app was the best. THIS AP IS NOT CRAIGSLIST. I downloaded this..... and it’s a hot mess. The item I am looking for (that is currently listed) doesn’t come up when I put in the title. The location settings only give me my town... not categorized by cities like it was before. And I’m showing items 100s of miles away, but not the item with keywords that I know is listed near me because I’m seeing it on the other this app ap. It’s showing out of state ads. I learned the developers were kicked off CL, so they made their own?!??? What? EPIC FAIL.

I used the old this app for years and loved it. It was acting strange recently so I deleted from my iPad with the intention of reinstalling it but sadly found it gone from cPro Store. Tried this new one and trashed it after 10 minutes. Somewhat similar to the old one but not nearly as good. The old one was much more convenient to quickly select all the cities by state, this one isn’t. This one also doesn’t recognize my Craigslist account, so I’m on to another app.

I’ve spent the day calling about stuff that has all been sold months even years ago and they all say they’ve taken proper steps to remove the items they had posted but it’s still coming up as currently for sale. If not for that, I’d give 5 star but since I can’t get my day back, I’m going with 1 star. I’ll gladly change it if that is fixed but I can’t waste anymore time on here with it like this.

Who needs a global search as the default? The beauty of Craigslist is finding relevant local items, and then searching other regions if needed. It would take 5 days to drive to the destinations that came up in my first search, and I couldn’t find anything to fine tune to my city, even though it asked for my city. Deleting, easier to use CL in Safari.

The free version that I’ve used for the past 10 years magically disappeared when the iPhone X came out. This version looks the same but doesn’t act the same as the free version. I’m not sure how to even use this version. No filters and it pulls in ads from Ohio and Virginia, I’m in Pittsburgh. The free version never did that. You were able to sort everything in the free version here you can’t. cPro is a disgrace.

this app WAS the BEST Craigslist app of all.

OK, that’s gone, but I was relieved to see the this app Marketplace app and figured the transition would be simple because I already knew how to use the this app Craigslist app. Not at all! This new app doesn’t allow you to choose different areas for your searching. For some searches I might want to look only near where I live, and in others I may need to look beyond my home area, but it can’t be done. Also, the this app app had a screen of very small ads that you could scroll through quickly to find exactly what you’re looking for, plus cPro sorted the listings into each of the search areas you’ve chosen. this app Marketplace doesn’t do that.

this app, why didn’t you continue using the same format you had with your Craigslist app? It was perfect! Easy to use, and very quick.
Marketplace is worthless unless, according to previous reviews, you just want to hook up.

Too bad. Bye bye this app. What a disappointment.

Overall it seems to be a great application but has a lot of problems when it come to viewing the message that we get sent to many glitches and really slow on updating cPro has the potential to be a awesome dating / buy and sell app but needs fixing and some adjustments to make cPro work good hope this heats fixed soon as possible so I can continue to use it

Too much commercial ads. Every post comes with commercial ads. The date and time of each post is not visible. I’m in California and I can see posts from Idaho. The featured posts are out of my vicinity and should not be seen.

I was a long time user of this app Premium - by far the best CL client around - and frustrated to find no ios version of the latest release. I thought for a moment this was it, then realized it isn’t a CL client at all. I looks and works a lot like this app for CL, but with the current level of content, I wouldn’t pony up for the premium version.

Once you figure out how to use it. In the personal ads apparently men are either unable to read or able to follow instructions. Many men post in the women looking for men area. It’s mondo annoying. I’d give cPro more stars if they fixed that problem.

Found this on my boyfriends phone wanted to know more. Posted something. I know we are in dire need of finding a place sou hope cPro helps us figure it out

I like cPro although the previous version allowed multiple cities to search I am not sure why this one does not

The dating part needs words it connects you to people in other states need to advertise more to some more people will get on here everyone thinks they’re not gonna be able to talk to people about casual encounters ever since they shut down craigslist before

Prior searches etc got lost when the old app wouldn’t load. Anyway it’s still the best craigslist app out there.

Just now downloaded cPro , I’m going to try and sell a few things on here and buy some stuff and I’ll update my review.
