Download app on parents phone and only have two options at bottom of screen not three like on my phone You can't hold phone up and see real time stars,moon etc that button doesn't exist?

1. On android, goto Settings » Satellite Tracker » click [Force Stop]

Update Satellite Tracker to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Satellite Tracker App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Satellite Tracker » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Satellite Tracker.

Fix Satellite Tracker unable to contact server/ Satellite Tracker internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Satellite Tracker » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Satellite Tracker » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
