So I had Swackett back in the day when it was free and I absolutely loved it. Somehow over the years it got deleted off my phone and I came across this again the other day when I was looking for a Weather app. It is $3.99 now but I thought why not I loved before so I went ahead and purchased it. It works perfectly good for the location where I am. The problem is I cannot change any of the other locations in settings. I have typed in the locations that I want and it continuously reverts back to either New York or another location That I’ve never even heard of. At this point, it is only good for showing me the weather where I currently a.m. and I cannot view any other locations. If the developers can fix this or tell me how to fix it on my end I will gladly update my review. So far I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. I have never had this problem with any other weather app. Usually I can just enter multiple locations and they come up just fine.

Update: 10 days since paying, still no pro or ad free features. this app says submit a support ticket and they will fix my issue. First, the support ticket is buried in the middle of their support page and not easy to find. Second, I submitted the support ticket 3 days ago and still nothing. My mind is blown at how bad these people are at managing Swackett.

I upgraded to the pro and no ad version of this app on Saturday, October 26th. However, 2 days later, the pro and no ad features remain unlocked despite receiving email confirmation that my account has been charged 5.99. As I cannot find any support links anywhere to resolve this seemingly simple issue, I cannot recommend the paid version of Swackett to anyone. If the this app programmers cannot figure this simple issue out, then I have zero confidence they can provide a quality weather app.

Like a lot of people I had the free version of Swackett. AND IT WAS AWESOME! So I did decide to down load the paid version (mainly because the original didn’t work anymore. Not gonna lie.) but now I totally regret it.

When I read the review it did say there was an issue with locations but it was supposedly fixed. Unfortunately I CAN NOT GET MY LOCATION. I’m unable to put the locations in manually. I do not want to use the GPS. I removed it then downloaded it again to see if it would work.... It doesn’t.

I do not live near a city but the locations grabs the nearest big city. MASSIVELY ANNOYING! Please fix! If not I will delete. I also got the PRO version for the Mac. I paid for that too and it’s just “ok”. this app on the iPhone is better. Wait... was better. When the year is up... I will delete the Mac version too. Money wasted and extremely disappointed.

I've literally been using Swackett every day for well over a year and it was a free app and I LOVED IT & told every I know about it! & now all the sudden it needs to be updated AND THAT COST 1.99!!!! What the hell, if I already own it I shouldn't all of a sudden have to pay to keep it! What happen to quality customer services!?!?!? I understand it's worth the money for new customers but not for people already on the way up to hate that's kind of ridiculous. I'm already the reason Swackett has plenty of referrals & that should be enough to reason to keep it for free.

After finally figuring out the support site, these guys were able to figure out why I wasn't able to use the new app right away. Even though to get Swackett again you have to pay for it, it definitely feels like it is worth it. To me at least, it has the same feel and settings I like(love the feels like temp info, apps that don't have this are crazy)while also have a fresh new feel that I think will make even more people discover it.

I purchased Swackett because I had it previously and loved that I could customize the peeps. First day I downloaded it and i changed the settings to allow the different peep additions. It kept showing the same boring classic peep on my home screen. I thought okay, it may change tomorrow. Second day, same thing! A gray background with a peep and a coat. Not why I bought Swackett. I tried to change my settings from auto to active peeps and it will not work. I tried to click on the side menu where it says classic peeps, activity peeps, Easter eggs, and that didn’t work. Extremely upset that I paid over $4 for an app that feels like it’s still in beta.

For the second time in four months, my subscription has disappeared and I have no radar! See below. My phones free weather app tells me temperature and forecast - I need this app radar to show me what’s up with rain, it’s really important to me in this climate.

Fix it! Please, fix the entire problem, I’m trying to cut down trees so the plumbers can stop my kitchen from flooding. (No chainsaws in a downpour.) 😖

This used to be the best app I had. Wondering now.

Ten year this app user, huge fan, until it updated recently. It wanted money. Fine. Give it the six bucks. I like the radar. All set with a Pro Subscription.
Two weeks later, it disappeared! App Store thinks I’m subscribed. But my app features disappeared. It won’t restore, can’t repurchase, this app is useless. Any weather app can tell me the temperature.
Have emailed them twice. No answer. Very upset. I need to know the forecast.

If it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it this app!

I miss the old app which I had already paid to go premium on. Now, I have to pay for Swackett and everything that I loved about the old app is still missing - the activity, health, & dog walking indexes; the fun peeps with the different styles; the interesting facts. The whole reason I have chosen this app over other apps were for these things. I am very disappointed in this new app. These new changes could have been included in what attracts a customer to this app.

I enjoy the fun characters and the solid good weather advice. The Easter egg feature is my favorite! If you want good weather info quickly and accurately. You need Swackett. Works great too. I’ve been using Swackett for over 5 years. This newest version is the best yet! Thank you to the developers. It’s Great!

WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS SUPER SIMPLE, AMAZING APPLICATION???!!!!
I used to be able to see multiple outfit options, the current degrees, daily forecast, and ugh index. It’s now flooded with advertisement and has lost all the good quality. Boohoo guys i missed your app. RIP

I used to love Swackett.
I paid for the ad free version before the company was bought out. And then bought this version.
I used to talk it up to everyone and toted it as being more accurate.
But half the time when I sign in it doesn't work. And it NEVER shows what i can wear based on the weather despite turning off all the other peeps which was the feature I enjoyed the most.
Disappointed.

I used to love Swackett way back then when it was free so obviously I bought it. It doesn’t have the little person that shows you what to wear according to the weather, and just tells you “todays a coat kind of day.” Also I just noticed today you have to pay for simple features on top of paying for Swackett ... I don’t know... I feel bad for saying this but I do regret paying the little money that I did... it’s just not worth it.

Dresses me correctly for the weather and has access to additional info. It's entertainment.

I used to use the old this app app and I absolutely loved it. I was excited to learn that it was back in Swackett Store. I paid for the Pooch Walk upgrade. It’s been months. I have never had access. Now that it’s getting warmer, I really could use it but nope. Money wasted. I’ve deleted and reinstalled several times. This shouldn’t be so much work.

Great app, new updates make it even better.

I liked the fact that the older version showed what to wear at different times of the day (I.e., current, today, tonight, tomorrow). For example, this morning it was 32 degrees and recommended a coat. However, it was going to get up to 70 degrees. Therefore, a jacket would have been fine.

As others have noted, attempts to change Swackett ’s settings don’t “take.” You can’t change any of the default locations and you can’t activate the push alerts. Any changes you make in Swackett settings immediately revert to Swackett ’s defaults. Swackett is nice to look at, but not functional.

Swackett is nothing like Swackett I have used since 2015 and that’s not a good thing. It has deteriorated in quality and is honestly far from its’ monetary worth. I miss the GOOD this app. Two thumbs down. I’m calling Apple later today so see what can be done.

I loved the free version of this. Always worked. Bought the new version 4 days ago, and it worked for 2 days but has failed (server error?) the last 2 days. What a waste

I like the original version better. I would like to see the times when the sun rises and sets.
