Pin365 - Your travel map Reviews

This was one of my favorite apps for years to use for travel planning. I had thousands of saved pins stored in Pin365 . It was simple & intuitive to use and served its function perfectly. Then version 5 came along and destroyed all of this. You are now limited to only three maps of 10 pins each. If you want more than this, you now must pay $35 per year. Want to export your data? That now will set you back $150 per year! Total scam!!!

I am now facing the tedious process of moving my thousands of saved locations to another platform, after which I will be deleting this app. What a train wreck! This was a great app. I wouldn’t have minded paying a reasonable price to continue to use it and support upgrades. But to now face hundreds of dollars in cost just to use the data I worked so hard to save is a total slap in the face to loyal customers. This is nothing less than a bait & switch and I would no longer trust these developers enough to spend a dollar on Pin365.

Based on this track record, what do you suppose will happen once you now spend hundreds on subscription? Prepare to have your data be held hostage for increasingly higher prices! Buyer beware!!! Please look elsewhere for a more honest app!

I was looking for an app to track where I have been. It does a great job of that along with description such as dates and place names. I purchased it several years ago after trying the free version. Recently, it showed that I reached the 10 pin limit as in the free version. I contacted the developer from within Pin365 . He replied to restart Pin365 which I did and it works perfectly again.

I bought this awhile ago for $5.99. It has been useful for me when I find new restaurants to save. Whenever I’m hungry, I just check what’s nearby that I have bookmarked. I would recommend Pin365 to others.

The company resolved my issue after I notified them of the update that prevented me from using Pin365 . I hope the company will continue to honor my purchase even after I upgrade my phone.

Great and functional map, but was changed after I bought. I paid $5 I believe for the ability to have unlimited pins. Had well above 20 or so. Now it won’t let me put anymore, it says I’ve reached my limit of 10. Trying to make me get a business subscription to put more pins. Great map, but poor business. Don’t change after someone buys Pin365 .

I tried three or four apps that were supposedly to do what this one does perfectly: lets you mark locations on the fly easily. Great for traveler - much easier than standard gps program. Kudos to developers

I bought the premium version of Pin365 the track all of the doctors offices in the city that I have to visit. So far had a great experience. The owner? (Whoever I emailed with an issue) is very responsible and helpful.

Pin365 does exactly what it is described to do. It’s easy to use and it’s stable; it’s straightforward and uncluttered. I’m glad I bought it. I have some others of the same kind, but this is the only one that I use.

Application works well for intended use. However, functionality would be greatly enhanced, making it worth the subscription fee and more, by adding the following features:
1. Drawing lines connecting pins, thus simulating an intended trip. Adding comments to the line. For instance: AA Flight 111 departing 11 am to Paris, arriving 11 pm
2. Providing a time line. For instance:
a. Miami International Airport - July 4, 2021, 10 am
b. Paris De Gaulle Airport- July 4, 2021, 11 pm
3. Allowing some form of budgeting

I use Pin365 to track sales I make on eBay and Etsy, hundreds of them. Very Quick response from developer, easy to use. Pin any address, great for travelers!

Paid for the one time payment for app in the past, and now they want you to pay a monthly or yearly subscription for an app that you already owned. All the time spent on Pin365 feels like time wasted.

Description says create maps and put as many pins as you want. No mention of in app purchases. I got to 10 pins and was notified I needed to pay to add more. Just come clean up front.

Pin365 was fantastic, then the developer decided to charge an arm and leg to pin your location. Really!?!? The business plan option is beyond ridiculous! This is not a one time charge either. COME ON!

Use it for work. Would be nice if I could draw Lines and such with coordinates and name them save them.

I use Pin365 for my job and it really has made things a lot easier. The color selection on the markers is a nice addition. Only wish that there was a web-version or Android version so that all coworkers could use it to. The developer is really quick to respond and very helpful if you ever need to reach out. Keep producing great apps and thanks.

This is robbery. Doesn’t work it’s a scale

I got the business plan for unlimited pins, which isn’t a big deal like most make it. Not everything can be free, and felt the price was adequately priced. Only a few dollars a month for a lot of use.

My only problem is... it states in the description it can be shared with friends. However it only generates a code, where is this code entered? When i download the map and enter code on my dashboard it shows me, but how do friends see it? Or how do i share this with friends and work mates? For instance i created a custom pinned mapped of participating homes for an event, and I’m not sure how to share it with others...

You need to take a new satellite picture and add pink pin color. Thank you.
