Great Game! Few suggestions...

This game is amazingly simple yet addictive and fun to play. It works offline or online and you really don’t feel the need to pay to play. Though there are a few ads, they aren’t overly disruptive of the gameplay itself. One thing to note is that leveling up is incredibly slow and you, as the Goblin shop owner, can take up to 4 companions to gather more materials to forge and sell weapons, armor, and potions... but that’s it! When you reach increments of 10 in levels, you unlock new facilities for your shop but they honestly don’t make much of a difference and are not worth the price gap between the lower and upper level. Additionally, the game gets a bit monotone in that you get stuck doing the same thing over and over with no real storyline or advancement. Maybe the Goblin shop owner can forge his own items to bring to combat/for protection. Perhaps we could make VIP customers more customizable. I would like to see more story development and more innovative rewards and facilities for leveling up, maybe in smaller increments as well. Otherwise, a great game to begin with.

Fun Shop Game with great Merc Managment

It’s a great shop owner game with some nice crafting mechanics. It’s offline! So I can play anywhere! Making this a great commute game with the handheld mode for one handed use. I like the ability advancement and item stats that can be added to armor and weapons as well as potions —but the best part is the mercenary management so your crafting has a purpose AND you get to manage it. Best of both worlds and I haven’t seen a game do it this well.

I wish the UI of the mercenary sheet had the armor and weapons in the front page. And I wish there was an easier way to manage their equipment other than selling one piece at a time. Maybe a friendship/trust meter so once you use them often, they let you change all their equipment at once. It would be nice to manager their stat points per level or skill upgrades. Or add a craft magic/skill table and sell them new skills/magic based on what they can use. Ex. Dark Knight class can learn taunt but centaur can’t etc.

Great game! Keep up the good work. Look forward new updates!

Good game, needs some minor tweaks

First off, the developer appears to still be actively tweaking/developing the game, which is great.

The shop management aspects of the game are well done and the crafting and gathering core gameplay loops are well designed. Monster (minion) management is fairly fun and discovering new ones while hunting on the combat maps is fun.

The only downsides I’ve experienced thus far is that special enemies (humans) are way overpowered. I can have monsters 10 levels higher than the humans on the map and one special human with regeneration and bombs can easily wipe the out. It is not uncommon to find regenerating mobs who regenerate faster then my monsters can deal damage. This becomes incredibly frustrating as I’m now stuck on territory 9 with my three teams of monsters all out leveling the content and still not able to beat it (territory 8 took some serious cheesing to beat also).

This speaks to bad level scaling/difficulty curve as previous levels were more reasonable. My hope is that future updates/tweaks will fix the level scaling of special mobs/humans, as getting stuck on a level due to running into on non-boss mob can otherwise ruin a fun run. After a week stuck on level 9 and all of the regenerating special monsters, i called it quits.

Good game that needs some tweaks. Fun for a week or so until you hit the overpowered enemies and quit.

Great game, but buggy

I love this game and have played it many times over the years, but now in this version, I can not get the totems to unlock. My character reaches level 20 and I still do not have access to any totems. I deleted and reinstalled the game. I got my character to 20 again, and still no access to totems. I got my character to level 90 to see if I needed to also do something else to trigger the totem option, and nothing I did ever got totems to initialize. I see the totem upgrade vendor in town and the +totem option when I start a quest, but I can never add or upgrade any totems, they are all always greyed out. The game thinks that I have never learned any…even when level 90.

Unbeatable boss?

So I’ve been playing this game for a while and it’s a wonderful game, but I am stuck in terms of level progression because of the wizard boss (the one with the pink robe). My team is 10 levels above the recommended level for the area (territory 30) and they can almost one-hit kill almost all of the enemies, but then they all get wiped once I get to the boss. I’ve tried different team setups and potions but none of them worked. I still like playing the game but it’s quite a bummer not being able to move on to the next territories. I was just wondering if the game can have it where it gives you advice on how to beat the boss if you’ve failed multiple times.

Wish I could say 4.5 stars

But since I absolutely love this game, I’ll give it 5. I was extremely surprised at how addicting it is to play this game! However, there are a few hiccups I hope are addressed. Firstly, when in the adventures, I wish there was a map in a corner or something to show me where I’ve been and where I need to go. Secondly, I wish it was easier to get recipes for items or have them drop more often. I’m lvl 20, and barely have any potions and weapons/gear. I’m not sure if others have more, but I think it’s hard to make things for customers without the recipes.
Don’t get me wrong, I love this game and play it all the time! It’s a great find!

great shop sim!

This is a really fun game. I especially love having a little entourage of monsters following me as I collect ingredients. I love rpg shopkeepers, and this one has the benefit of not being ruined by time constraints and pay to win. I haven't found another on GoblinsShop store that fills that role.

Two problems I have are that recipes are too hard to get, and monsters don't use health potions quick enough. it's so annoying to have a monster with three health potions die. it would also be nice to be able to customize your shop and goblin more, maybe unlockable skins or something.

all in all, I'm enjoying this game so far and hope it'll grow in the future!

Needs work but getting there!

It's honestly a great game but there need to be some sort of way to get companions, upgrade them, and the market should have a way to sell and buy materials; all these should be accessible with gold not gems. I understand you need to make an income but make it so you can grind to get companions with gold while keeping the prices with gems the same. I will also agree that you should be able to fight when going out and that the companions or vips at least shouldn't shoplift. I'll keep playing in hopes you guys do these things and not let it die (I have good faith).

Decent game. Broken advert

Not a bad game. I’ve found myself a little hooked too it. Only problem I have is SUPER slow progression. From the preview pictures you where level 16 and I’m only level 14 and I’ve never even gotten more than like 8000 gold at once. I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong or missing a key element to the game so I can play at a decent speed rather than this slow. And second: the video advertising kills it for me cause I can never even get them to play when opening the game which forces me to kill the process only to run into the same ad over and over. Just remove video ads or something or add a X at the top like the rest for if the video doesn’t work.

Great Game

This game is great. It's not very often I find a game I can add to my collection of favorites. It's simple, strategic and definitely addicting. 1 thing I'd really appreciate being added is a way to see what weapon/armor my companions already have so I know which ones to sell them. Also, maybe add a way to sell extra resources for coins? I'm only level 14 at the moment so it could already be included. Maybe a bigger shop too or a way to upgrade it. Just ideas, thanks very much for the great FREE game! 👍🏻

Grognak like!

I wasn't sure about this game at first cause the art style isn't what I usually like but it grew on me after the first few adventures meeting the new monsters.

It's a great game. I like that you can close the store and do crafting until your shop is full and then open it and focus on the customer side. I close it before I go on adventures too.

Also the achievements give gems to get new heroes and I like how the curve for getting them isn't a bunch right away and then forever to get more. You get them pretty steady with adventure progression.

Simple and Fun

They gameplay is simple enough to allow for many hours of play or a few minutes. I really enjoy the full shop ownership and ability to have customer ratings as well as having to acquire materials for building.

I could see many things coming into this game! For one a player marker would be awesome to see! Hirelings for the shop to automate anti theft stock boys etc. I look forward to seeing this game go forward I'm sure I'll invest some money shortly just because I think y'all did a great job!

Nice game, great improvements

Thanks for the game and your respectful amount of ad plays. I really like what you added for the village missions. Also the in shop alert of inaccessible locations. It's a really fun, rewarding game for any play style. I'm enjoying it very much, it feels like you understand and love what you're making.
One problem is the summon hellhound level seems wrong still. I get a level 4 hellhound from a level 30 summoner. It's supposed to be 90% of level? I think it's increasing but not correctly.

Favorite mobile game!

This game is great, once I started playing I could hardly put my phone down.

I do have some suggestions that would add to the overall gameplay:

1. When mining and chopping wood- make it so that you have to craft your own axe/pick axe that loses durability and eventually break. The better the quality the longer it lasts and perhaps it could also decrease how long it takes to gather.

2. Suggesting items to customers- when you fail to make a suggestion multiple times the customer should be rightfully aggravated and leave a negative review. As it stands you can just spam click them until you succeed making the "speecher" skill pointless to invest in.

Thank you for such a fun game and I hope you take my suggestions in to consideration!

This Is a great game, but lacking in content

Let me start by saying this game is awesome. But there are some features missing. You quickly run out of room to place workstations. I wish you could expand your shop so you could fit more storage and such. Another thing, what shop doesn’t have employees? Like maybe just a guard to stop shoplifting, or maybe a cashier. I hope the devs take our suggestions seriously.

Used to love the game

I loved loved this game before the update. I loved the simplicity, especially in the adventure part of the game. It was nice to know what I was going up against with the level of my monsters versus the level of the humans. Now it’s unexpected. My level 20-30 monsters may not even last the adventure go against 13-19 human levels. With the use of fire and bombs everywhere, I just feel like the gameplay has just gotten way more complicated than it should be. The only thing I like about the update is that I can now throw rocks as a way for my own mode of attack.

Fun but screen display isn’t

I love goblin shop more than any other shopping tycoon game out there this game is so addictive I love going out for materials at the beginning and finding other monsters to help out and getting the full loot potential the most annoying thing on my iPhone XR is that the gold is hidden and I can’t see how much I have. Other than that the game is the best and one of my favorite games on the phone

An RPG Gem

Some people may be put off by the pixelated graphics, but it adds to the game’s charm! Give it a try before you decide to pass it because behind the gameplay is addicting and fun.

I am so happy that this game makes it easy for you to play without paying if you don’t want to, and I want to thank the developer for that.

I have only downloaded this yesterday, but so far I have spent countless hours on the game. There are so many items to craft and discover, and I love the idea of being able to run my own store.

I hope that the developer will continue to update the game with more events and adventures because I can see this game turning into something even greater.

Fun but needs features

Ok the mechanics of this game are amazing. Goblins and monsters aren't my thing but it's still worth playing.
Review updated: after the October 6 update fighting is much more balanced yay! Now we just need to unlock more things below level 30. It takes wayyy too long to get to 30!

Amazing Game!

This game is honestly very enjoyable and fun to play. It doesn’t require internet so if you’re on a trip or somewhere you don’t have WiFi, you can still play it. Gems are easy to get, loot if fun to go after, and the creativity behind the monsters is great. I also love how they manage the circle of economy within the game. 5 stars from me :)
