Ok I have had Gridwise for almost three weeks now . I drove to work houston and tried going based off Gridwise to set a schedule to work the airports in houston and sat there for hours just like it usually is. I did a lil bit of home work and a close friend that works for a government agency told me and I may be wrong and same as them .but according federal air and aviation it isn’t allowed to disclose the number of passengers per plane due to home land security protection laws . How can just Gridwise be the only one with that info !!!!! Then I’m seeing cars with big labels on each side of the vehicle that looks like a moving billboard as a professional driver that looks un profesional. Gridwise disappointed me and only gives you so little info . I rather just keep my flight tracker apps that are free . Good concept if you can actually get that real info ;) hope it can build to something good but for now I’ll stick to my local and regional info .

Other than the mileage tracking and the few articles, Gridwise is useless. I do not get any updates on anything in my city, and I'm only an hour away from one of the biggest cities and a half an hour from a heavily populated county.

The reason I'm one starring this is because I hit up customer support with pretty obvious and detailed information about my situation and they forwarded me to some “how to use this app” links. As if I didn't explain my specific situation. That kind of ridiculousness is infuriating. You advertise said benefits but it won't benefit the majority. You ask for help they feed you useless information. And you genuinely expect me and others alike to pay for a premium mode?

Waited in an airport for 2-3 hours. App said estimated arrival of passengers in that period was between 100 to 400 altogether in the 30 minute interval period they do. However when I got a passenger, he got in my car and I asked him, how many people were in your flight? He said 3 people. Gridwise said estimated 120. I don’t need Gridwise for event info as Uber already disclosed that. Earnings per hour I could calculate myself. Estimated mileage, I used my car solely for Uber not for leisure, therefore the good old odometer will do. Gridwise is a good idea. I was mainly attracted to the airport feature but I just found out that privacy laws don’t allow companies to provide passenger count info. If the could get that passenger info though, Gridwise would be GOLDEN. I would considered it the next great invention after the microwave for rideshate drivers.

Although I like Gridwise and use it, I did not give 5 stars because when I turn on mileage tracking, I am prompted to set location access to “always”. I don’t like that. I understand why Gridwise wants to always access my location but I don’t want it to. Forcing me to turn on a setting I don’t want in order to use a feature of Gridwise just doesn’t sit well with me. What is wrong with explaining why Gridwise wants to always know my location but allowing me to use “only when using Gridwise ” if that’s all I want? For now, I continue to use Gridwise but every time I turn off mileage tracking I also go in and completely turn off location access for this app. It’s a pain but that’s why Gridwise does not get 5 stars from me.

I’ve been using this app since October of 2020 to track mileage & earnings for a few app gigs. It’s pretty great when it’s working, except when it’s not.. I can always track my mileage by switching it on when I start my shift, but unfortunately my earnings are not always synced. I update my credentials anytime it happens and that will typically fix the problem, but this week in particular it has not worked at all and I’ve had to go ahead and input my earnings manually. It’s fine, but kind of defeats the purpose of syncing up my accounts for earnings tracking. *My apps are updated and login info is correct* Hopefully, it will be fixed soon for a more streamlined experience. Overall it’s very helpful... just fix the bugs.. please?

Gridwise does a lot of the data mining for you. Even tells you what the airport arrival flow is for the day so you can better plan your airport runs. And it will even show you where you make more money between all your apps. One major downside is it only tracks mileage and income right now. For other things like tolls, and parking fees, you still need a separate app. So for now, I wouldn’t switch completely to Gridwise just yet. They have a forum for suggesting features, but it seems that tolls and parking has been on there a year and still nothing has been done.

It helps me so much knowing how many seats the different arrivals each have, so I can plan my day to know which planes to show up for. I usually figure I’ll wait for passengers if the Que is 10% or less of the amount the plane holds, since the planes are usually running full these days. So this app helps me very much to know if I should get into the airport Que or work the area, and when to return. I love it, and check it every day. In the morning, I just write down all the times of arrivals and the amount of people the plane holds, on a sheet of paper, and clip it to the dash. I then return to the airport at those times and count those in the Que, to get a good assumption if the Que is too crowded to get a ride or if the probability is too low to get one, and therefore choose to work the area.

Very Current with the times for Self-Employed Parcel/Rideshare Drivers. Gridwise offers very user friendly experience. Most of all, Gridwise partners with other companies that help expand Earnings potential through services that save money in areas you may already spend routinely on your business. Gridwise helps me manage earnings data collected from several services that i drive for. As soon as i press ‘Tracking’ my shift has started. As soon as i press ‘stop Tracking’, my shift has ended.

Love this application because it brings me peace of mind to track my mileage as soon as leave my to when I get back home. It’s also key when in the streets and I’m looking for that long trip earnings so I go to app and notice they’re 4000 flights leaving Dulles airport in Washington DC so I set my destination to Dulles and 8 of 10 times I get that long trip earning ride. And more then likely I will get an immediate back to DC. Thanks this app for making my life easier on the street.

It is very, very useful and helpful. I drive for Doordash and it links up with the Doordash app and keeps track of everything. Mileage I drive, money and tips I make, calculates all the money in different ways. It is very useful at keeping all the info all organized so when I do my taxes I have everything I need in one place. Doordash is not nearly as helpful and organized as Gridwise. I am so happy I found an app that utilizes graphs as well on how well I did on a week to week basis. Definitely an app I would recommend if you do any jobs like Doordash, Instacart, Uber, and other jobs like it. All of them link up with Gridwise. Also I am surprised that it does all this for free. There is a paid version but I will be upgrading since I love Gridwise so much.

I've been using this application for a while now and as long as I remember to have it start tracking my mileage before I start my shift for DoorDash/Postmates/Amazon Flex, it helps me keep track of everything. Whatever ride-sharing or delivery service you use, you can link it within Gridwise and it'll keep track of mileage, total trips, & total earnings. And that's just what's free. There's a couple other features inside Gridwise that you can pay for but that's up to you.

Let me first start by saying this all is nearly a game changer for gig app workers. It’s a very clean app, with easy to use features that normal require multiple apps to accomplish. Gridwise does it in 1.

Now, I downloaded Gridwise with the hopes of seeing what delivery drivers in my area are making compared to what I make. However this feature seams to be only limited to Lyft/Uber.

I truly hope they expand their features to include more delivery gigs instead of mainly Rideshare. I also couldn’t find any information on if there was a milage tracking limit with the free version or not.

I’m definitely willing to keep Gridwise round for a while and compare it to what I’m currently using and see how it measures up.

Please include the other gig platforms in the current features available it would make Gridwise even more beneficial

I like Gridwise for many reasons but I’m going to list just a couple of reasons.
The Events feature helps me plan my shifts for greater impact on my income levels.
I can make sure I’m close by when Events “let out” (and sometimes get the good “surges”!!).
The this app app is helpful for me to know when and where to focus my driving times.
I also like the airport arrivals and departures graph. Showing the number of people coming into my airport is important when the piece of the pie is being cut. So if I’m having a “slow day” I can use the graph chart as a guide to help with my planning.

Gridwise has helped my optimize my earnings and be more efficient with the miles I drive and the time I am working. Since I downloaded this, my dollars/mile has improved from barely $0.88/mile to over $1.50/mile consistently which has allowed my to work fewer hours, put less wear and tear on my vehicle and reduce the mental strain that comes with driving an excessive amount of miles just to pull in some decent money. Gridwise even helps me anticipate airport traffic to see if it is worth it to sit in the lot after doing an airport dropoff (even though my market has “rematch” at the airport.

This is an app that every ride-share driver must get! The airport feature that shows upcoming arrival and departure passenger numbers alone is a priceless time saver! No more having to drive all the way to the airport to see how many drivers are in the que. The list of current events, concerts, theater, sporting events, etc is amazingly detailed and will even send you notices when the event is letting out, so you know exactly when to be there. Now we need more of you to get Gridwise and log in when you are at the airport and make the que number even more accurate. Hard to believe all this accurate info is in a free, easy to use app!

I stumbled upon Gridwise and decided to try it. It works great. Much better than any other tracking app I’ve tried so far. My only issue or change I would suggest would be if a person does other gigs like merchandising or mystery shopping and still want to track earnings or mileage, maybe put a feature to manually add a service so that all income is in one place. For example if I did a gig for XYZ company you could add it manually and keep track of that income also. Currently I use 2 apps for this. I’d like to use only 1 and yours by far is better. Other than that. I’m sold!!

Wowwww! I am super impressed with Gridwise! First of all, the design and look is really nice. Super easy to navigate through and understand. Secondly, all of my gig apps we’re available to link my accounts! It has perks and benefits available! I’m just blown away lol ! Being a gig worker always on the go and using multiple platforms, it can be really difficult and frustrating keeping up with mileage, expenses, and earnings. I can’t believe Gridwise has made it so easy for me! Literally get in the car open Gridwise and turn it on before you drive off and you’re set! Today was my first day trying it out. I do food deliveries on bike. I was recently thinking about using something like Strava to track my rides, but then I stumbled across this app because someone mentioned it on a subreddit.

The mileage tracker/map is exactly what I was looking for. You get a neat little map showing your entire route for the time you were online (including the amount of miles you travelled and the time).

The earnings analysis was an added bonus. I multi-app (usually 3-4 apps), so it’s cool to see which app I’m getting the most from, how much I average per trip, per hour, etc. Good data to have.

I’ve found it super easy to log my rides (you just flip a toggle in Gridwise ) and also painless to log my earnings afterwards. You manually add earnings (some kind of direct integration would be cool at some point), but it’s a breeze to do.

I emailed their support team once. Got a pretty quick and helpful follow-up email that solved my issue.

Glad I found Gridwise . I plan to continue to use it every time I go out for deliveries (to track my route and mileage) and also to log my earnings after I’m done for the day.

Gridwise is the best thing for rideshare drivers since the car. this app allows you to map out and schedule your day while also keeping you up-to-date on changing circumstances such as flight delays, weather, events, etc. This plus the flight data are invaluable for they allow you to easily anticipate high-demand areas and times. Gridwise will increase your earnings help you to keep your costs down by providing you with the information you need, when you need it, and where you need it thereby allowing you to make more efficient choices throughout the day.

I like the ability to track my mileage and earnings within Gridwise but the premium features never work, so save your time and money and stick to the free version. I signed up for the $9.99 monthly plan on a 7 day trial and wasn’t ever able to access any of the features. My app showed I was on the “free” version even though I had a paid subscription. When I’d click the “try now” button it would say “you have an active subscription.” My emails to customer service weren’t responded to, and as a result I quit using even the free version.

Gridwise is very good for having a sense of what is going on in and around your area for the purpose, as a driver, of scheduling your time for maximum earnings with minimal down time while online.
Frustration can occur on the airport sided information as it is not updated to reflect delays and cancellations within the daily schedule, so I still default to checking in with airport site for real time information. That has saved me countless hours of sitting in parking lot relying on Gridwise.

I like how it does multiple things in one place. I think that it could be improved with the events by maybe having boots on the ground to find out what’s going on as well as using what ever they’re currently using. A lot of times events aren’t here, or minor events are listed when they really shouldn’t be. There’s been several times when a major event was missed because I was relying on Gridwise and it went unannounced. If they can pull that together and maybe add a surge detector, Gridwise would be 6 stars! Thanks from a veteran Uber driver, great piece of app right here.

Knowing when the airport is going to be busy and if there are not enough ride share drivers available is a good tool. It also helps to know how many people are there but that is up to the drivers who use Gridwise to report that as they show up or check into it. It’s also helpful to know where the events are happening in your town. Thanks for such a good tool for the rideshare drivers.

Great app definitely increased my earnings! The only reason I’m giving it a 4 star rating and not a 5 is because it keeps telling me their is an update available that isn’t. I click update then it route me to iTunes App Store. Then there is a link that says open instead of update. So there isn’t an update. It’s minor but it’s frustrating to keep hitting cancel.

Gridwise is a great TOOL! There is no possible way in this industry to be 100% on point because of the many variables. Gridwise gives a great tool to help and assist me in maximizing my earnings. Thank you! Only one question, is there anyway to find out how many passengers are on a plane coming in so when using other apps in addition to this app we can determine our next route?

After having used Gridewise for a while now I’ve found it to be extremely accurate and it brings everything together in just one app instead of using various ones for my rideshare needs. It’s a must have for any rideshare driver. The mileage tracker is spot on, the airport arrivals are very helpful and listed events in the area make it easy to plan driving time.

Getting alerts periodically that tell me business is still good helps a lot when I feel like things are starting to slow down on the day. Too many times without alerts I would just check out early due to a small slow patch only to miss out on all the incoming surges. 😅 Truly a valuable assistant.

Started using Gridwise two weeks now and I’ve referred it to two of my friends already. I don’t get a lot of people updating the airport cues, I try my best to share as much information hey I can and wish others will do the same. Above all this is a very good app to own for ride shares and knowing what happening and when it’s happening.

Gridwise has provided me with a way to know what’s going on in my city, and the events each night. I can see if it will be a busy night or night on the town and it helps me determine where to drive and if it might be worth it or not. It also helps to know what’s going on around town, period!
Great to have the airport volumes plugged in too.

It’s great to behold. I wish it did more as a ‘companion’ such as have RideShare podcasts integrated in Gridwise , have other integrations or in-app listings for tracking mileage, tax tips and know-how, affordable local gas directions, and a heat map. Have the information streamlined with Lyft’s servers. Set up a meeting with them. A little more work; you can do it.

I am so grateful for Gridwise!! The first day I used Gridwise I earned and additional $100 as a ride share driver! I knew what time the planes were landing and how many passengers were expected at multiple locations, and planned my day accordingly! I’ve shared Gridwise with my friend and we both feel more empowered about how we earn our money! No longer driving aimlessly in search and hoping for rides!! Best Ever!!!
