Daily Audio Bible Mobile App Reviews

Hello, I absolutely LOVE DailyAudioBible! However, I’ve one complaint, unless I’m connected to the internet, it takes about 5 minutes to upload before I can start listening. I love to listen to DailyAudioBible while driving to work in the morning. So what I have to do is connect my phone to my internet at my house, open DailyAudioBible and get it started and start downloading content before leaving. Even while I’m driving I have all 4 bars and 5G it still doesn’t download the content. I live in the city so my reception is really good. It’s testing my patience on a daily basis. I’m almost hesitant to write this because I don’t want to sound like a complainer. Maybe it’s my end..? Could be. Please advise. I will gladly change my rating score once the speed and connectivity is resolved. Please advise. Thank you and keep up the great work!

I’ve been listening to DAB for over 10 years and now it’s an even better version! I listen to the DAB, daily audio Bible, which is a bit of the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs every day. These always give me insight into what Christ has for me. But now I also listen to the chronological version as well! The DABC also provides a Phenomenal insight into the every day life, why, and how things happened (Israel’s disobedience to repentance, etc) But more specifically talks about God’s plan from the beginning of time for Christ to die on the cross in order to bless and save us all. It is thru Christ we are Christians, not readers of the Word. His Word gives us more detail and history, wisdom, principles and promises. Yet if one thing had to be chosen, it would be the resurrected Christ that allowed us all by faith in Christ Jesus to be grafted to the Vine of God.

I am so grateful to know there is a newer enhanced app — I love it! As I reached out to resolve a technical problem with the old app, I received an email letting me know there was a newer version. I was on the 4.01 old “this app app”. Now I’m using “this app mobile app”. Wow!

I look forward to 2020, joining in with this community of believers seeking to know God’s Word more and supporting one another in prayer throughout the year. Praise be to God 🙏🏾

DailyAudioBible has been absolutely incredible. I struggled so much to find time to read God’s word every day, until I remembered DailyAudioBible that I had used for a short period of time years back. I rediscovered the joy of getting into God’s word every day. Brian does an incredible job of reading through the scripture and then drawing your attention to a few parts of it and explaining it each day. I love the last 10 minutes that is community prayer at the end of each day. I feel like I am getting to know members of the DAB, and it is an incredible community of love!! Thank you so much for all you do Brian!

DailyAudioBible has it all - the Bible read fresh every day in different forms (and languages!) - an OldTestament reading, New Testament, Psalm and Proverb every day OR the chronological version that links events together. And just the NT for kids - read by a kid. Don’t judge the Bible without reading it for yourself. Unfortunately that can be hard to do unless you get the “color commentary” and back story, additional background etc that this podcast provides.
People come to check “read the whole Bible” off their list, and stay for the community and improvement in their outlook on life.

The DOB was recommended to me by a family member. It is a true gift and ongoing blessing in my life. Being able to hear the Bible chronology has given me a new appreciation and understanding of God’s words and ways. It has now become the way I start (or end) my day, and I feel like my relationship with God is strengthened with every encounter. In addition to the daily Bible readings, it also offers a daily proverb and psalm, and the magnificent daily prayer. I thank Brian Hardin and his family for sharing their God given talents and blessings with us! Don’t hesitate to download DailyAudioBible and accept the blessings God is offering to you!

I found the DAB app in August of 2013 and have listened daily now for more than seven years. It is the best Bible reading/listening app I have ever had, and Brian’s commentaries are excellent! It truly feels like a family of believers coming together around a “global campfire” to listen each day to the Word of God. I cannot imagine the commitment of Brian and his family who post a fresh recording to DailyAudioBible every single day of the year. Thank you, Hardin family, for your daily sacrifice and ministry to the rest of us!

I have been listening to the daily audio Bible for many years and since the beginning of the year I have had nothing but problems trying to listen to it in my car. I use Apple CarPlay. DailyAudioBible crashes , and closes out my screen from the car. and when I unplug the phone from the car , DailyAudioBible still doesn’t play. The old app never gave me a problem and I used it with Apple CarPlay all the time so there is definitely a problem with this new app. I want to give one star because of DailyAudioBible but I love the daily audio Bible and I love what Brian is doing so I’m giving it three stars for that.
Its just been so completely unreliable

DailyAudioBible has brought me so much closer to God. It gives me the daily renewal of my mind that I need to conquer life’s ups and downs. I absolutely love and appreciate the time Brian takes at the end to give commentary on specific things he’s just read. It brings clarity and context to so many passages I may not have otherwise known, or thought to think of. I also love the DAB community and open prayer line. It’s amazing to me that God uses complete strangers to draw me closer to him, and I like the fact that I can simply pray for my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

I’ve been trying to follow along since the beginning of the year, but find it hard to keep up as not every day can be downloaded. Sometimes the audio will play, sometimes it won’t; sometimes the text/reading is true to the day, sometimes it’s the previous day’s reading and hasn’t been updated. It will appear as if it is updating, but then is unresponsive to tapping the “play” icon. I am getting behind in my reading and getting discouraged. I love Brian’s reading, teaching and prayers, but if I cannot access it, then what’s the use of DailyAudioBible?

The Daily Audio Bible has been a God send and has literally changed my life. It’s like a good meal I look forward to everyday! Brian Hardin’s gift to read God’s Word is amazing and just how he does it even makes the so called boring parts come to life. Very well produced and a part of my daily routine. So glad I found the DAB and am now sharing with my friends and family whenever I can! Highly-highly-highly recommend!! Thank you Hardin family!

I have been listening to the DAB for the last several years and have enjoyed it very much. However since the beginning of the year I am very disappointed in DailyAudioBible performance. One or two dates will not download on a weekly basis is. I reached out to tech-support I was told to delete DailyAudioBible and reload it and if that didn’t work turn my phone off and back on. The only temporarily resolved the issue. I would consider it my phone if there were other apps I had issues with but that is not the case. This is the only app that is regularly not performing as it has in the past.

I’ve become fairly dependent on DailyAudioBible but just when I need the scriptures most, for some reason the player forgets my password and I am unable to login. I would give it five stars except this happens about once every 4 to 6 weeks. And it seems it’s always on the mornings I need it the most. I use it in my car, so I don’t typically turn it on until I’ve already started driving so I can’t even do the reset until I get to work and now my day has really started off wrong. Please fix that glitch!

I love DAB, the family this is becoming for me is an eternal blessing. It’s amazing how God can anoint people to even read the word aloud! I am so grateful.

I tried to leave feedback within DailyAudioBible for this minor issue, but couldn’t. When I tap the “mark as read” button and the star to favorite a day, it doesn’t always stick. If I use the slider, it doesn’t always stick either. I open DailyAudioBible the next day and several days aren’t marked anymore. Just sayin

This is the most important app I use on a regular basis and has been so for close to fourteen years. More importantly, I am far from being alone. The DAB community is simply phenomenal! It is amazing demonstration of an authentic Godly community of believers and “seekers” all over the world. The beauty of the community is in part due to its simplicity: daily scripture readings, inspired observations and prayer.

I’ve been listening to the Daily Audio Bible for the last three years and 2018 begins my fourth year. The new app is so clean and easy to use, and I’m very excited to implement it this year! I like that all of the podcasts are in one location and that DailyAudioBible checks off each day that you listen. Thank you to everyone involved in the creation of DailyAudioBible and thank you for making it free! I pray that DailyAudioBible reaches as many people as possible!

I love DAB app however since updating I have had many days the daily reading just stops. I have tried restarting phone, uninstalling app an reinstalling not resolved it may work the following day though. Also the journal will not work most of the time gives me no connection message, never had these issues with previous versions. Please fix I need this to start my day! Also I have committed myself to going through the Bible this year and Brian is a wonder teacher and guide for doing so!

I cannot express enough how much listening to this every day has blessed my life. The Dabber community is amazing filled with beautiful prayer warriors. And Brian’s thoughts on the scriptures each day are helping me to think about God’s word from a new perspective often times. And I swear at the end when he says I love you; it truly feels in the spirit like God Himself is speaking. Thank you Brian and the entire DAB family.

The is the best app. Its interactive. I've had it for years although I tend to fall off the wagon at different times which is all my own doing. DailyAudioBible has touched me in many ways at different times of my walk with the lord.

I would totally recommend DailyAudioBible. The prayer part when ppl call in is amazing. These are real ppl with real life situations, etc.

Brian should have millions of subscribers, DailyAudioBible is that good!

DailyAudioBible worked great until April
11 & I haven’t gotten any more downloads since then. Otherwise, I like all the new features & the “awards”! The greatest reward, however, is to be in God's Word every day with people from all over the world who pray for & encourage one another! It is truly the church universal and we can’t thank Brian Hardin enough for his obedience to the Call and his thoughtful, thought-provoking commentary that applies Scripture to our lives.

Been listening since 2009. I was hungry for the word and needed to find a consistent way to be fed. God’s word is ALIVE and DailyAudioBible brings it to life .. to my life. So much more that I could say. It is life changing, you become part of the DAB family . Be sure to listen to Brian’s commentaries as he may be able to shed insight on that days readings, be it with the history/culture at that time, or definitions, interpretations etc. just try it, you’ll like it (or love it!)

Brian and his development teams have been working on this new installment of the this app app for a while now and it has been released for free because many early adopters financed the development through generous contributions. Let’s us all bless this release by using, sharing, and providing a good review (5-stars) so that it will rise in the rankings and be within view of so many that can benefit from hearing the Bible read fresh to them every day of the year.

This Daily auto Bible app has helped me to listen and read along everyday to God’s word and the commentary that Brian does after he reads is great too and at the end the community that listens can call in and request prayers or say prayers for others so it’s not just about the reading but about a community too!

Nothing has impacted my spiritual walk more than the DAB. I’ve listened for nine years now, and each year brings forth fresh insight and thoughts. Brian Hardin’s commentaries at the end of the day’s reading are insightful, thoughtful and often quite convicting. His reading and teaching has truly changed my life. The habit of tuning into DAB won’t disappoint...Brian’s voice is balm to a weary soul, and having God’s Word read aloud is a real treasure. Grateful beyond words for DailyAudioBible!

Whether you’re a new or old believer or someone seeking to know what the Bible says and means, this is a great introduction for all levels. Brian is a wonderful reader and the commentary is always relevant and insightful in how it may apply to daily life.
The worldwide prayer community after the reading and online is very special. No one is alone. I encourage you to give it A try and see how you are encouraged and changed.

The old app never did this but it started happening when they upgraded apps. When I am listening to it in my car and a phone call or something else interrupts it, the daily reading starts over from the beginning. This happens often. Also, when I mark a day as completed it seems to save, but sometimes when I go back into DailyAudioBible it doesn’t show that I completed those days.

Love all the content and this it is a great app, but it is a little glitchy.

I found DailyAudioBible when i was in a low point in my life looking for answers. Brian not only reada the whole bible everyday without fail, but he also explains many verses that may slip through the cracks of understanding.
My confidence in my knowledge of the scripture is growing stronger every day and I am starting to apply what i learn in my every day life.
