OnePlace - Christian Audio Reviews

I have been using OnePlace for several years now. I am very grateful to have found it. It really helps me in my daily life trying to be Christ like. I have a few pastors I listen to daily but I like the fact that I have a variety of others I can listen to as well. There is no excuse not to listen to the word of God if you have a smart phone because you can easily download OnePlace for free and make time to listen. It is best to attend Church if you are able to but if you are not able to you can pick a pastor to listen to from wherever you are at . Also, if you missed one sermon you can always go to the previous day . May God bless all who listen on this ONE PLACE app and May it be for the honor and glory of our God Jesus Christ!

I dumped the news in order to take step one towards peace and changing my thinking. I replaced XM radio with a free app...this app. On there is every daily Bible study you can ask for, the ones I can’t hear on the radio during the day because I am working. These are all on demand.
When I wake up and walk the dogs I listen to “Walk in the Word” with James MacDonald. On my drive to work I listen to “Pathway to Victory” with Robert Jeffress. Driving home...”Turning Point” with David Jeremiah, and finally I am walking the dogs again, this time with Tony Evans and “Turning Point”. Weekends I listen to a variety of others or go back to a day I want to rehear. This is helping me internally mentally and spiritually. If you like listening to Bible studies I encourage you to check out OnePlace .

I love the content found on OnePlace but it’s functionality leaves a lot to be desired. When listening to a playlist for instanace, once one cast is complete and the next one plays, there are no controls such as pause or skip. I literally have to close out OnePlace to get the cast to stop. Also, there are no indications as to which ones in my list have been played. Also also, when the list is populated, God forbid the title is too long- there is no way to see which episode each item is. You will have to click on it and start listening and try to remember if you’ve listened to it or not. But be warned, you will have to revert to one of the earlier “also”’s. With these inconveniences, might as well attempt to find the content elsewhere.

As stated, I absolutely love the content, but OnePlace itself requires much more development for it to receive more than 2 stars.

For a 5-star rated app I have been very disappointed in its performance. One place began on the web as a site where various Bible teachers posted their teachings which enabled listeners to listen on demand rather than being confined to broadcast times. The website worked very well over the years.
However, the company’s venture into phone and app technology is totally disappointing. The volume and start/stop screen disappears 2-3 programs after deleting and reinstalling OnePlace . This forces me to listen to the program for its duration and also eliminates the ability to advance the sermon to a point where I may have heard it while driving or been interrupted by someone.
I have a few apps from individual groups and You Tube which have the control screen which work fine on my phone (an iPhone 8). I exchanged emails with a company rep who told me they were trying to fix it.
I hope this bad rating will inspire you to test OnePlace to see if you can help them solve the problem.

This is one of my very favorite apps!!! I use it all the time and have been so blessed by it over the years!! Sometimes I turn my radio on in the car and I hear a sermon that is really good but I’ve missed the first part, but I can usually go to my this app app and hear the whole message and even share it with others. There are so many good speakers, preachers, and talk shows to choose from but the best part is that you can pick your favorite ministry and then go to the archives and pick your topic as well!! I don’t listen to all of the programs on there because some of them I don’t agree with but that’s the beauty of OnePlace -I get to pick!! It’s like my very own custom radio station!! Love it!!

My precious Aunt Shirley introduced me to the this app app several years back & it is such a blessing-I can always find trusted sermons on whatever topic I need pretty much at any time of the day or night! Both of my teenage sons also use it & I can’t even begin to tell you what a gift that is to this mommas heart!
The archives for each ministry is truly a wealth of information & allows me to listen continuously while doing projects around the house or driving; when I first wake up in the morning as well as while I fall asleep at night! Thank you SO much! I tell everyone about it & have zero hesitations to recommend it to everyone I know & love!

WORDS are INADEQUATE! My WORLD/LIFE is SHATTERED, losing most EVERYTHING! I’m STILL ENDURING, but IF NOT FOR this app & Rick Warren, I WOULD NOT BE HERE, today! I NEEDED HOPE, suffering like NEVER BEFORE, I had only “heard” of Pastor Rick but NEVER been LED to listen, UNTIL NOW! Thank YOUUUU! As SOON as I’m ABLE & ALLOWED, I WILL BE SUPPORTING BOTH Pastor Rick (although from Georgia) & this app’s ministries, consistently for its the VERY LEAST I CAN DO FOR SAVING MY LIFE! “Weeping (STILL) may endure...BUT....”(Ps. 30:5) If you NEED JESUS, HOPE, have an INSATIABLE DESIRE TO GROW & LEARN, STAY here, at this app, “SEEKING JESUS FIRST”, AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE asking God to DIRECT YOU to whom HE KNOWS WILL HELP YOU with your situation, circumstances, fear, DOUBT, questions, EXCRUCIATING PAIN, etc. & YOU WILL GET THROUGH with this app & ALL of God’s GIFTED TEACHERS!!

I enjoy lay in bed for awhile before I get up for the day, and listening to an encouraging message. I love that these messages apply to my life. Whichever one that I listen to gives me hope and strength and renewed purpose. I thank God for putting this group of speakers and pastors together to bring love and joy and hope and strength into my life. As I have said previously, I lay in bed each morning and listen. What a wonderful way to begin each day. Centered on God the Father through Jesus Christ the son, and led by the Holy Spirit in me!! 🙏❤️👵🏻

Good morning I was wondering if there way something going on with OnePlace I’ve been trying to play and listen to older messages from the preachers I follow and every time I try to play one it just says loading episode and the once it stops the sermon never comes on. I have the iPhone X latest software so I don’t no if that has anything to do with it or if anyone else has been experiencing the same things I am. Thank you again and keep up the wonderful work that y’all for OnePlace .

1- can’t delete messages under the “envelope” tab even after opening
2- sometimes the option to fast forward in 15 second intervals pops up- other times no. All podcasts begin with extra curricular sales pitches that I don’t care to hear. For me to listen to a podcast, I require the option of fast forwarding.
3-need to be able to choose the speakers you like and have them at the top or only visible upon opening OnePlace . (There are some borderline heretical speakers that I don’t want to wade through each time OnePlace is opened.)
These problems are enough to cause me to utilize a different app to hear my speakers. I’m very close to deleting OnePlace altogether.

I really want to give OnePlace 5 stars, but every time I use it, there seems to be a glitch. When you first open OnePlace you see the list of ministries but as soon as you click on a ministry, a sermon begins to play. I hit stop so I can search through the archives, but the banner from the sermon that popped up is blocking the blue “see more” button. I don’t know if this is a glitch or a just bad design, but it’s very annoying and makes me give up trying to find a way around it. There have been similar issues like this before and I had to delete OnePlace . The sermons on here are great. Please fix or I will have to delete...again. Thanks.

I love OnePlace because it has so much relevant content and so many true Spiritual Leaders. There are a great
Variety of teachers and “teaching Types”... even some varying doctrinal differences available here. But you can Follow your favorites. Among mine are: Turning Point, Love Worth Finding, Understanding the Times, Insight Worth Living. From prophecy to prayer, wisdom and enlightenment lives here, what will *your* guided path detail? The this app app is a “wellspring” of topics and teachings and is at the heart of my daily routine. It never gets old!

I am so grateful for one place because it has introduced me to several good preachers that I would not have the benefit of hearing in person. One place came at a time in my life when I walked away from organize church attendance. I prayed a prayerFor resources that would help lead me to Lead me to god. And I stumbled across one place. Since that time I have found a church home this coupled with daily one please usage has enabled me to grow substantially in the Lord. I hope that others are able to support one place financially to keep it growing.

As a teenage girl/college student, it’s nice to be able to have resources right at my fingertips to learn about the Word of God. Between college and work, I live a pretty busy schedule but being able to listen to a sermon while driving to school or before bed to wind down has been so helpful in keeping me straight on my walk with Christ in a time (college & social pressure) that may be even more difficult for some. To go along with the college theme, being a broke is a definite thing and being able to access FREE sermons is amazing!!!! Really appreciate it!!!

I start my morning with the great venue of preachers❣️instead of Tv or radio, the programs are so uplifting ❤️I really like the aspect that I can listen to my favorites David Jeremiah, Erwin Lutzer, Tony Evans and J Veron McGee ❤️ I can chose how and when I want to watch it, as well as, I can stop and start. Sometimes I have calls or I have a meeting, that way I never miss a word 😍 the recordings are of good quality :+} I tell my friends about the FREE app because I enjoy it so ❤️❤️keep up good work😊Thank you and may God continue to richly bless you 🙏 ps I pray for the preachers too 🙏

I enjoy using OnePlace, but lately it has been playing on its on. There’s been a few times when I’ve suddenly heard someone talking, wondering where the noise is coming from, only to find out the OnePlace has some how decided to play a sermon without me having touched my phone or OnePlace at all. I’ve deleted and downloaded OnePlace again hoping that would fix the problem, yet it hasn’t. It came on again today while I was at church. I’m hoping this is rectified soon. I would hate to have to delete OnePlace because of this.

What a great resource of so many options of contemporary leaders of the Word. You can go here 24/7 to hear top notch pastors and we’ll known speakers dissecting scripture anytime anywhere! From current contemporary topics to the history of the Old Testament it’s all there. I do recommend this and have recommended One Place many times over the years. Especially when you’re on the road or away from your Word this will fill in the voids.

Everything about One is great. Lots of very informed Bible teaching Pastors. My only issue is that it indicates on OnePlace icon on my phone that I have a message or two etc. when I open it there are no messages. I had notifications turned off and I still get the notifications. When I go into OnePlace it’s shows notifications on. I turn it off and I delete messages. When I exit OnePlace the icon still shows the number of notifications. Very frustrating.

I listen to David Jeremiah at Turning Point every day. This program is part of my daily devotions. Dr. Jeremiah is one of the best Bible teachers I've ever heard and has helped me grow in The Lord so very much.
I also listen to James McArther and Charles Stanley. These fine Bible teachers are such a blessing. Thank you for making them available to me any time I want to listen to them. There are so many more on the list that I enjoy listening to, thank you so much for making it so easy to hear the Bible taught. God bless you.

Could you add a feature for commuter-listening that allows you to keep listening after each message by going to the next lesson without having to look at your phone to click on next message?

The this app app is perfect for me and my husband. Whether it’s individually or collectively, we are able to choose a message every morning that speaks to our heart, and makes our path straight before we enter the worlds daily challenges. The Lord uses each of these Pastors to minister to us as He see fit and we wouldn’t be the same light at the feet of others in Jesus’ name, without it. Thank you this app! ❤️

I’ve found several teachers here on this app that have really been “a timely word” when I was in different seasons over the years, i.e. times of study & counseling others, good times to overwhelmed. I’ve been lead to the right teaching that I needed to hear or go prepare me for the next chapter. I really appreciate all you do this app staff.

Only reason I gave a 4 star is I’ve had some regular issues with OnePlace crashing but usually only when 1 program is finished.

Radio ONE for me is a priceless reinforcement for me during the week and even after I return home from church. The Preaching I have the blessed privilege to hear is a wonderful way to hear more of the word of Almighty GOD as I pray my hunger and thirst for his word remains strong until the LORD Puts me to sleep. I thank GOD for your valuable actually priceless blessed program. Most importantly, for these men of GOD Almighty.
