Great idea

Sermon Audio is a great resource of thousands and thousands of expository preached sermons. It is one of the best things that have come about with the internet and digital media.
But SermonAudio has fallen short lately. Over the last year most of the sermons I download to SermonAudio only partially are downloaded. It is no longer convenient to download in WiFi and listen later. Now I find myself only listening when I am on WiFi instead of downloading for later.
There is no way of knowing that only part of the sermon has been downloaded until suddenly as I am listening it abruptly stops and exits out of the sermon.
I also wish we could search by group on SermonAudio like we can on the web. And narrow down sermons on a specific text by group so at don’t have to weed through hundred of speakers to find the one I am looking for.
Keep sounding out the word. God’s word never returns void.

Not Broadcaster Friendly

I have been uploading my church’s sermons for well over a decade and uploading via the main website is frustrating to begin with. I am now moving from editing and uploading on my computer to working on my iPad. The while SermonAudio allows you to upload new sermons and other recordings, it is not very intuitive or user friendly for broadcasters. It took me a few minutes to find the broadcaster login section and when I began to input today’s sermon info, I can’t add a new speaker to my list. I only have the option to select an existing speaker from my list. There needs to be a simple signup/login button that takes me to my church/broadcaster profile. And from there, I should be able to have an apparent button to upload a new sermon, choose/add a speaker, etc. UI definitely needs improvement.

App works well but

SermonAudio itself works well for me and I appreciate that I can leave it playing and turn the screen off, the 15 second look back, and that I can browse other sermons while one is playing. BUT. About Sermon Audio the website- I don’t understand why there can’t be a listener login feature to allow me to save my favorite churches/preachers to access easily. That seems like the simplest feature to implement. I don’t need a paid account or the features it comes with. But I would like to save preachers. Please consider making a limited free user account for this purpose!!

False Doctrine👎🏿😡❗️

This Man❗️
Dr. Ian R. K. Paisley.
UnDeniably Spake Falsehood About Religion👎🏿😡❗️
he Said; “Religion Is Damed”👎🏿😡❗️
And Gave Absolutely NO Explanation Of What he Meant😡❗️
you’d Expect That Anyone who Has Dr. In Front Of Their Name Would Know What They’re Talking About And Know How To Teach GODS Word Aright❗️
But If you Or the teacher KNOW NOTHING About GODS Word, Then they’ll Say Whatever, And you’ll Follow Right Along, With Absolutely NO OBJECTIONS, Damning your Own Soul😢😢😢❗️

Therefore, It Is Vitally Important To Study (NOT Just Read), So That When The Speaker Speaks, You CANNOT Be MisLead❤️🌹💕❗️

This Is GODS Definition Of Religion:
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1:22-27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Sermon Audio Great!

Where else can you search and find such valuable recordings? Thank you for this tool!
Ditto what finnsbane recommended for improving downloads. Would be great to sort by order you want to listen, to see % remaining, to set auto delete after listening like a podcast to save memory, to tag or catalog. I’ve seen some valuable collections here but it can be difficult to pull recordings together in the logical order for listening to a whole set.
Keep up the good work!

Great resource to help your Bible study

Sermon Audio has a collection of thousands of sermons from a variety of Bible preachers. You can search the collection by the sermon subject if there’s a topic you want to study. You can search by Bible passage if there’s a text that you want to hear a variety of thoughts about. You can even list all of the sermons by your favorite preacher.
I wish that you could select your favorite preacher AND list any sermons that he has preached from a particular Bible chapter. Some preachers here have uploaded over 1,000 sermons and scrolling through them all can be challenging on a phone screen.

Frustrating App

While I love having thousands of sermons at my fingertips, SermonAudio is maddening!! I can be listening to a sermon and have to stop for a while. When I try to go back and finish it, it’s gone! If I don’t know the name of the sermon or the speaker, I’m out of luck. There is no way to favorite a sermon or speaker. I take a screenshot of ones I like but that’s not very handy and there should definitely be a way within SermonAudio to be able to store your favorites or recently played or a playlist of sorts. I even tried to become a “member” but see nowhere to sign up on SermonAudio . Come on people!! Make SermonAudio useable for the listener!

Love the content, but

I love the way SermonAudio is organized. I can find anything that I need. The problem is when I go into a pastor’s message, then I get busy at work and pause the audio sermon, when I try to get back into it, many times it has put me a the beginning page and I have to search for it again. It does pick up from where it left off, but very frustrating to have to go and search for the sermon again. Please fix this issue, so when I pause the sermon, it will still be there when I come back to it and I do not have to search for it again.

A Real Blessing

I’ve listened to the sermons on Sermon Audio for years to be exact I began listening when my first grandson was born and he’ll be fifteen this year.
I have been real blessed by the various speakers and I have learned so much from the word of God.
Yes, there are quirks in SermonAudio , but when I can count the many times I’ve been blessed, I count it as minuscule when SermonAudio crashes once in a while during deletion.
I thank God for your ministry!

Playback

Love SermonAudio , but every time I touch the volume in my car it exits the sermon. I thought that the update would fix this but it is still doing the same thing through Bluetooth playback in my car. Listening to it on headphones has no issue. SermonAudio has made my 1 hour drive to work enjoyable and I look forward to it now. Please see what you can do about the playback. Thanks for SermonAudio

Love the App but it has some kinks...

I love SermonAudio because it has some phenomenal speakers and anointed messages that come just in time. The only problem is that I find it having issues with crashing about 2 minutes into some sermons and sometimes the only way to resolve the issue is by resetting the phone entirely. I don’t want to delete SermonAudio and re-download it because it will lose every sermon that I have saved. Otherwise, spectacular app!

Essential!

Sermon Audio is a must-have resource for those with internet access and mobile devices.

One feature that might be improved is the downloads tab/section. The ability to manually organize downloaded audio and video resources would allow the user to set the autoplay feature to play in the order determined by the user, rather than the preset orders provided which often don’t work, or are at least somewhat unintuitive.

Thank you, Sermon Audio!

A good source for faithful teaching

Test all things but overall the best source for responsible bible teaching I have been able to find. I download MP3 sermons and listen to then during the day when time allows. My personal favorites are Doner, Baucham, Washer, and Sproul, and I know that is just scratching the surface. Oops! I almost forgot Lawson!

Through sermon audio good preaching can go around the world and shine light into very dark areas. God truly works in marvelous ways!

Please fix Spurgeon devotional

It appears that the Spurgeon devotional is on another time zone—I’m on the west coast and whenever I try to play the evening devotional (in the evening, my local time), it’s already set to the next morning, and then I have to go to online and find it through another way. It would be great if this could be fixed. Thank you!

Great app, limited in easily accessing other than your own pastor

Having checked out the website from time to time in the past, I now am partial to SermonAudio . My only issue is accessing a pastor (not my own) whose series I listen to, consecutively. Apparently only members can "save and return-to-the-same-place" and only CHURCHES which pay for posting services are eligible. There does not appear to be membership for individuals.

LOVE this app! BUT...

I’m so thankful for SermonAudio, what a resource! Being able to download the sermons and hang on to the ones that had an impact. As opposed to fighting to save a podcast you liked. But having trouble with freezing esp when trying to delete. Also wish there were options for sorting sermons manually, that would be the icing for me! Thank you so much for SermonAudio God bless you!

Best Sermon App ever!

I have been using this site for many years years now. It’s been the best source for finding new messages and since I also speak in several languages you can search the world over for sermons. Thanks sermon audio! Absolutely love SermonAudio!

What a bunch of hypocrites!

I picked out 5 from different people to listen to from different areas of app and they were the most judgmental “preachers” I have ever heard. One used a recording of another person preaching from 35-40 years ago and tore that person up. We all grow in Christ at different paces and who we are in Christ at one point in our lives isn’t the same 40 years later. Besides if you think someone is off track you pray for them not tear them apart. Very disappointed in this. Those men need Jesus and a whole lot of prayer!!

Hard to navigate

I love the concept but it takes a long time for me to find what I’m looking for, ie. I put Acts 7 in search and I only get a couple of sermons and it will change to Acts part 7, etc., then I have to start all over again and have no idea which direction will take me where I want to go. It’s not very user friendly in my opinion.
Also when you try to send a review they claim every single letter in the alphabet is taken.

The latest update ruined it - searching is problematic

You can’t find a specific sermon by searching for its title anymore in the mobile app. It is so hard to find specific sermons in the mobile app, because now the search feature looks for *any* of the words you input rather than all of them.

Disappointed. A way to upload sermons to your phone on the web site would solve this, since the web site has a much better search function. Or a better search feature on the mobile app.

Old Time Religion and some modern too...

I’ve been using this website for a while and just recently downloaded SermonAudio for my phone. How wonderful it is! SermonAudio is functional and very easy to use/navigate. I can find many of the old time pastors like AW Tozer, Spurgeon, Ravenhill and much more - any time I need. The original speakers are presented, if for example, they were were modern like Tozer. You can hear the passion and conviction in these original recordings. Older era preachers like Spurgeon, are read from their original manuscripts and are presented respectfully in tone to the original message. So grateful we have these available. “Give me that old time religion.”

Appreciate it, needs more female speakers though

I love the convenience of SermonAudio and I appreciate all of the effort that went into making it. The only issue I have is that there are hardly any female pastors. I have only found one woman. I'm sure that there are a few more. It would be nice to have some talks from Joyce Meyer and Christine Caine. I urge the makers of SermonAudio to simply pray and consider making some additions.

Awesome, But...

SermonAudio is mostly awesome, but users do experience problems on enough occasions that it can be troublesome to use. In my experience, the issue is primarily concerns uploading sermons (zero, partial or takes a long time). Other problems surround downloading only to find out it only captured part of the sermon. But again, mostly awesome... Recommend WiFi use only.

Very nice

Full of messages to learn and stay close to God with,to grow in faith with..but it seems now that SermonAudio will not load fast and sometimes it just stops working in the middle of a sermon...this has been happening more and more now since the last update....hope I don’t have to go down on stars rating..
